Tentative congratulations @Kinsters and @Bentley111. Fx for sticky beans.

@DartmoorDoughtnut hope a stronger line shows soon.

BettySwoll0cks · 30/04/2019 19:53

Am I the only one left? 🙈

InDreamland · 30/04/2019 19:55

I'm with you @BettySwoll0cks xxx

BettySwoll0cks · 30/04/2019 20:34

Fist bumps @InDreamland. Shit isn't it?

I had a call from Cambridge IVF today. The wait for an NHS appointment will be 18 weeks plus so I am shopping around for a private consultant appt. Just need to feel as though I'm doing everything I can to make this work. Seeing my GP in the morning so she can go through all the tests we've done so far and what it's been for (I've lost track now) and then I'll pursue the rest through the private system. I'm nearly 40 so I feel like I want to give this one last shot 😔

InDreamland · 30/04/2019 21:33

@BettySwoll0cks, right back at ya! Sure is shite. Glad to hear you're doing something proactive. I'm so glad we went to the Lister and got private testing done. They did push IVF but when we said we weren't at that place we got the private urologist referral which found the issue that's put us both on antibiotics which we hope will help. We've just started acupuncture too. Gotta do something to feel I'm not just carrying on like normal. TBH though I'm not confident I'll ever have a living child and will only ever be the mother to 2 angel babies. I'm 39 now too so really feel like we've lost our chance of ever having a family.

DartmoorDoughnut · 01/05/2019 07:30

@InDreamland and @BettySwoll0cks big (((hugs))) TTC is shit

I have no idea what’s going on, there is a line but it’s only pale 🤷🏻‍♀️ So essentially I’m not sure if I am or not ... no AF yet going so that’s good I guess!

Bentley111 · 01/05/2019 08:16

@InDreamland you're on the right path... with a bit of luck the antibiotics will do their job and the acupuncture will work too. 39 isn't old! So many women have babies well into their 40's, you have every chance x

@BettySwoll0cks good luck today, I'm thinking of you x

How frustrating @DartmoorDoughnut - no af is the best sign though! There's definitely something on that test.

DartmoorDoughnut · 01/05/2019 08:18

@Bentley111 this photo was dead on the 3minutes, there is definitely something there, would be easier to cope if there was a definite -ve tbh, this limbo is so confusing Confused

Thanks @Bentley111 and @DartmoorDoughnut. I wonder if I'm getting super anxious and down about it all because of the 3 pregnancy bombs recently plus this cycle last year was the one I got my first BFP but ended in MC #1. I just really wanted to be pregnant again with no.3 and my rainbow by now. With July approaching fast and due date of baby no.2 being the same date as the first anniversary of mc #1 my head is just all over the place and so scared I'll be that statistic that just has no luck.

@DartmoorDoughnut how many DPO are you now? You're not out until the witch shows. Fx for you.

Bentley111 · 01/05/2019 09:31

I feel your frustration @Dartmoor - this is exactly the situation I had last month. I did put it down to a chem in the end when AF finally decided to show 5 days later.
It could be a late implant? They do say you implant anywhere between 6-12dpo.

@InDreamland - keep strong,
You're doing all the right things visiting clinics and having treatment, all variables that weren't present last year? It sounds like the Lister is great so I'm sure they'll look after you and do everything in their power to ensure you're not a stat xx

DartmoorDoughnut · 01/05/2019 09:34

@InDreamland oh bless you 😢 everything crossed you get your rainbow baby soon Flowers

I only DTD on CD14, not 100% on ov, thought it was then but had lots of watery CM from CD14 up until CD19 so anyone’s guess really! Either way AF should’ve shown up on the 29th April ...

DartmoorDoughnut · 01/05/2019 09:38

Yep @Bentley111 I’m thinking chemical tbh

BettySwoll0cks · 01/05/2019 12:25

Awwww @DartmoorDoughnut fingers crossed for you, but I've had that 3 times now, vvfl then a late, heavy period. I also assume that it's a chemical when it happens. A huge hug and lets hope either the line gets stronger pronto, or AF comes so you can move on with a new cycle x

Bentley111 · 01/05/2019 15:59

How did your appt go @Betty?

Any news @Dartmoor?

BettySwoll0cks · 01/05/2019 16:58

Thanks for asking @Bentley111, it went fine thanks I got her to print out all the tests and results that I've had so far so that I can take them along to the consultant appt (whenever that may be). I'm going to the fertility clinic open evening in a fortnight's time and will get to meet the consultants and find out a bit more about what they offer - almost certain I will go for an initial consultation privately as the NHS waiting times are murder.

DartmoorDoughnut · 01/05/2019 17:09

@BettySwoll0cks open evening sounds interesting, hope you find a good consultant Flowers I hope my body decides what it’s doing soon!

No news either way yet @Bentley111 I am utterly shattered though so taking that as a good sign 🤞

Bentley111 · 01/05/2019 18:15

Opening evening sounds great @BettySwoll0cks - nice idea to meet a consultant in a non commital environment. Hope it goes well Thanks

Just had an accident leading my horse in from the field... he spooked and I fell, my jeans are ripped to shreds and I've properly cut my knees & grazed my wrists to elbow. I'm pretty sure I landed on knees and elbows not stomach but it happened so quickly I'm not 100% sure. Having a proper panic now, I really hope everything is ok 😢😢

Bentley111 · 01/05/2019 18:15

Ps no news is good news @DartmoorDoughnut!!

Kinsters · 02/05/2019 04:40

I'm sure it's fine Bentley, you'd have to have a big impact to your stomach to cause any damage at such an early stage - right now it should be cushioned inside your uterus lining and your uterus will be protected by all your other organs, muscles, bone etc.

How long is your antibiotics course for InDreamland?

Bentley111 · 02/05/2019 08:03

Thanks Kin. I think all is ok. My first reaction was to panic but I've woken up this morning feeling slightly more rational 🙈

Kinsters · 02/05/2019 08:14

Glad you're feeling better this morning. It's a worrying time x

DartmoorDoughnut · 02/05/2019 20:22

@Bentley111 how you doing? Hope you’ve managed to catch some Badminton!

No news here 🤷🏻‍♀️

Kinsters · 03/05/2019 03:04

Your period is quite late now right Dartmoor? Have you done any more tests?

DartmoorDoughnut · 03/05/2019 06:19

She’s rocked up this morning Kinsters so 3/4 days late

Bentley111 · 03/05/2019 06:36

That's so shit @DartmoorDoughnut Sad bet any amount of money it was a chemical. Hope you're ok...

Yes, I work remotely and yesterday spent most of it watching the dressage Blushthis will be the first year ever I've not gone! Have you caught any of it?
