Chart does look great @Kinsters - as Betty says, even if you're not pregnant this month, at least your hormones are doing the right thing.

@BettySwoll0cks thank you, that would be great. Is the book worth getting?

@InDreamland we haven't really thought that far yet in honesty. I'm really lacking in holiday so not sure whether I'll be able to take the day off... I doubt I'll be good for anything either that day, especially if I'm not pregnant by then.

Thanks all re Ascot. Need to find something to wear now 😬

6dpo today - no "symptoms" except sore boobs but that's standard for me. Perhaps I'm just doing a better job of not over analysing every ache or twinge.

Rose68 · 26/04/2019 09:04

Hi Ladies, thank you for asking after me @edidxb and @Bentley111. We had an amazing skiing holiday & have been really busy since, with my boys still on Easter hols. I have pretty much given up on getting pregnant, and I have stopped going to acupuncture, I can’t justify the cost anymore. I need to focus on what I already have as well as finding something for me (still no idea what that is).

@Bentley111 we are going to Ascot too.

I always count CD1 as the day AF starts, no matter what time. Once it started at 11:30pm & my Acupuncturist told me I was wrong to count that as CD1.

I wish all of you lovely ladies the best of luck in this horrendously hard journey. I’m sure I will pop back on from time to time to see how you are all doing. xxx

Kinsters · 26/04/2019 11:18

Hey Rose, nice to see you. Glad you had a good time skiing. Did you record your speed in the end?!

InDreamland I'm one of the trying to forget it crowd but I'll probably light a joss stick at our family alter. We always lit one to tell MIL about our baby news so I'll light one for the due date as well.

Will you get a fabulous hat Bentley? I went to Henley once and they were so strict on the dress code!

Afm, I'm pregnant again. Just did a test and got 1-2 weeks on a digital so I think I must have ovulated a bit earlier than my temp suggests cause a positive digital at 8dpo seems unlikely. I'm not surprised I'm pregnant because I seem to fall really easily when we get the timing right. I don't have much hope of it sticking though. I think maybe my uterus just accepts anything, dud or not.

Kinsters · 26/04/2019 11:22

I feel so conflicted right now. Of course I'm really happy that we get another shot and maybe this will be the one.

But at the same time I was thinking about how to tell DH and realised this will be the 4th time I've told him I'm pregnant (though the first time I'm not even sure I was). Just doesn't seem worth getting too excited or summoning up too much energy.

Bentley111 · 26/04/2019 12:16

@Kinsters very, very, very tentative congratulations! Looking at your chart, when do you think you ov'd? When is AF due?
I know some people wait until after AF is due but personally I couldn't not get a +ive and keep quiet. Perhaps tell him exactly what you've written here?
"I'm pregnant, but let's not get too excited quite yet"

Ps. as hard as it is, today you are pregnant, so Flowers and non-alcoholic Wine

I would love to get a fabulous hat! I've been looking at a few this morning.

Hi @Rose! Glad you had a good time skiing... I'm sorry you're still not pregnant, but please don't be disheartened. What day are you off to Ascot? We'll be going on the Friday.

Kinsters · 26/04/2019 13:06

Thanks Bentley. I just showed him the test and we both cried lol. Going to go see my dr tomorrow morning. AF should be due Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday. I couldn't wait till then, even if this one fails before AF I'd want to know that I was pregnant.

I think ov could have been day 13?

DartmoorDoughnut · 26/04/2019 13:20

@Bentley111 puppy pics please!

@kinsters tentative congratulations 🤞

I’m CD26 and line spotting, very unlikely but keeping everything crossed!

@InDreamland sending ((hugs))

@Rose68 glad skiing was fun Flowers

Bentley111 · 26/04/2019 13:33

@Kinsters oh bless you both!
Yes, where the anomaly temps were? It would make sense, a few days after you logged EWCM.

@DartmoorDoughnut any sign of a squinted yet? How many dpo are you?
Puppy pics attached 😬
Her name is Dolly and she's 9 weeks today. Very excited to meet her tomorrow!

DartmoorDoughnut · 26/04/2019 13:41

@Bentley111 oh look at her ears! So cute ❤️ I’m 12dpo I think, I’m going off EWCM not temping or ov tests as I am bad enough at POAS to test and I don’t want to get obsessed, I can’t really with the boys, managed a squinter but I’m not that hopeful ok I’m lying I’m totally hopeful but trying not to be

The July 19ers - The rollercoaster continues, scream if you wanna go faster
Bentley111 · 26/04/2019 13:48

@Dartmoor that's a strong squinter!!! I can definitely see a line.
Keeping everything crossed for you. When's AF due?

DartmoorDoughnut · 26/04/2019 13:54

@Bentley111 thanks for the crossing! Think AF is due on the 28th, but countdown to pregnancy site says due 29th, we’ll see when she shows please don’t show please don’t show

Kinsters · 26/04/2019 14:42

Fingers crossed Dartmoor! I can see something there but not sure whether it has colour. You should try an OPK, my internet cheapie was such a squinter but the OPK was a blazing positive, which is why I did the digital.

Kinsters · 26/04/2019 14:48

Omg Bentley that puppy!

DartmoorDoughnut · 26/04/2019 16:38

@Kinsters yeah I’m 50/50 as to whether it’s publish or grey, depends on the light! It’s a FRER though so accurate, will see what the next few days bring 🤞 you’re super early for a positive in a digi which is amazing and I would say means high levels of hcg

DartmoorDoughnut · 26/04/2019 16:38

Publish = pinkish

DartmoorDoughnut · 26/04/2019 17:56

Humph took the test apart to try and get a better photo and couldn’t see anything so must’ve been an evap. Am now in a foul mood and trying to hide it!

Kinsters · 27/04/2019 03:58

Hopefully the line gets stronger today Dartmoor.

My dr gave me aspirin and progesterone and told me to come back on 18th May when hopefully we'll see something on a scan (I'll be around 6 and a half to 7 weeks then). I think there's no way I'm only 9dpo because the FRER I did this morning was really dark, I think I must have ovulated earlier than usual.

edidxb · 27/04/2019 05:12

Oh that's brilliant news @kinsters - I am so pleased for you. Let's nw hope you can get to 18th May OK now. Am hoping for you.

@dartmoor - there was a line there, so I really hope if you test again today it's there a little darker again?

@bentley - well done in the competition and what a little puppy! How exciting!

Thanks for popping in to say hello @rose. I'm pleased you have semi made your peace with your situation currently and I wish you loads of happiness going forward. Do pop in from time to time to say hello. I'm not here much, but do like to pop in once or twice a week to say hello!

@indreamland, thanks also for saying hello. My due day was also 5th July so I'll have a think on that day, but nothing more. I was the same in October when I had my previous due date. I just perservered on through the day but we are all different and need to do different things.

All fine here. I think I am getting a little bump! I don't think it's fat but I have put on weight so can't be totally sure! I am 16 weeks tomorrow. I am also away this week for work - off to Qatar and it's two flights to get there so hoping that's all OK.

We went to see Michael McIntyre last night as he came to Dubai. I love him so much - I laughed solidly for almost 2 hours and it just makes you feel so good!

Kinsters · 27/04/2019 06:51

Thanks Edi! Yay for getting a little bump! It's funny how different everyone is. One of my colleagues had a really noticeable bump at 14 weeks, her first baby as well. Then another didn't show until gone 20 weeks!

BettySwoll0cks · 27/04/2019 08:42

@Kinsters everything crossed for the next few weeks, that's awesome

@Bentley111 here's the snippet from Starts with the Egg. It's a really interesting book, science heavy but actually really readable. Plus you can skip much of it if you don't have PCOS, undergoing IVF etc. She also recommends a book called Not Broken which is specifically about recurrent miscarriage. I might buy that too 🤔

tigsyboo · 27/04/2019 08:51

@Kinsters YESSSSSSSS!!!!! congrats!!!!! I take extra vit d and magnesium too 👍🏼

@DartmoorDoughnut Sorry it was an evap line

Nice to hear from a few others too, hope everyone else is well!

@edidxb I'm fat too! Lol!! Put 9lb on at 13+5 now!
I think it's a mixture of being a little thinner than normal when gettin preggo due to the stress and the fact I go from fine to ravenous in 2 seconds and can't 'put off' the hunger - I HAVE to eat!! Convinced
Some of it is baby tho as i usually put weight on on hips and bum and belly stays flat- but belly is deffo rounder!!
Cravings starting - anything apple/sweet juicy and cold - Asda cider flavour lollies are getting a hammering!! Also fridge cold grapes!

Kinsters · 28/04/2019 03:01

I'm taking the pregnacare pre conception. I think they helped lengthen my luteal phase (I've read b vitamins do that).

Bentley111 · 28/04/2019 13:57

Thanks @BettySwoll0cks that's really interesting. 70% of pregnancies ending in miscarriage... what a stat! It really is a wonder that any pregnancy happens in the first place... will order the book this eve.

Great that you've got progesterone & aspirin @Kinsters - did you ask or did your gp give them to you? Not sure whether to ask or not next time given everything. Hope everything is ok so far?

@edidxb yay for a little bump! I can't believe you're 16 weeks already... almost halfway there!! Huge MM fan so very jealous. Glad you had fun. Good luck for Qatar!

@tigsyboo my mum craved fridge cold grapes with me! Cider flavoured lollies is a random one 😂😂

@DartmoorDoughnut has your line progressed?

My godsons 4th birthday yesterday was awful. Babies everywhere... and BFs gran (who is lovely) wouldn't stop asking me about kids. I was doing the little nervous laugh, "not quite yet!" to which she responded "oh but you'd make such a lovely mum & mr Bentley would be a great dad." Blush

TMI but have been super constipated since Thursday. Trying not to read into it too much but that was the first symptom in October.

BettySwoll0cks · 28/04/2019 14:00

Hi all, hope you're having a good weekend. I got dumped by my childminder yesterday 🙈 she WhatsApp'd her 'parents' to let us know that due to a personal problem she's gone, effective immediately! I had already taken an unscheduled week's leave last week to cover her running off to her parents' house but with 36hrs to go before drop off on Monday morning boom, she's gone. Mildly stressful, not entirely sure what I'm going to do.

Thankfully, DGranny is coming up tonight to have DS tomorrow and Tuesday so I have a couple of days' grace. But ... I'm right in my fertile window so I somehow have to convince DH to DtD! Not sure how that's going to go, with his DM in the next room?! Wish me luck......

Kinsters · 28/04/2019 15:03

I'm not in the UK Bentley so I don't know how they do it there. My dr told me after my last chemical to come and see her as soon as I got a positive and she'd give me progesterone and aspirin. Aspirin you can just buy in the shops though (I have 300mg tabs that I cut into quarters and take one quarter per day). Progesterone, there's no spild evidence it works to stop miscarriage that I'm aware of. It's nice to have though for sure (although I've got pills rather than pessaries - not sure how effective they are).

That sounds hard at your nephews birthday. Well meaning relatives can say the worst things.

How many dpo are you? Hopefully the constipation is a good sign!

Omg Betty what a stress, just what you don't need. Silent sex can sometimes be sexy. I know some people really can't do it with their family around though! Hope you manage to work something out.
