@Dartmoordoughnut resentment is definitely a problem! I wanted to ttc when I was 41, and I do believe it would have been possible then. But he only agreed to it when I was 43, probably because he knows he will get loads of sex & no baby. I switch between resenting him like mad and understanding his point of view. I have friends whose DH’s had the snip after 2 DC and they found themselves in a good place because it was no longer an option & they could move on with their lives. x

Rose68 · 26/02/2019 11:37

Oh Pegase it’s so shit, I’m so sorry x

@Frazzle I also think you should keep the appointment, I have found the acupuncture has helped with other things as well as ttc. Mood and feeling more able to cope in general mainly, also possibly pmt, but that might be the dhea. Plus you may well carry on ttc and then you will wish you had gone. x

TwittleBee · 26/02/2019 11:40

I am so so sorry you are going through this again but at the same time relieved they arent making you wait any longer or requiring another scan or anything Pegase

Kinsters · 26/02/2019 11:42

Pegase I'm glad it's all been arranged quickly for you. Mine was only my first loss but the worst time for me were the days between confirmation of miscarriage and ERPC. Be gentle to yourself for the next couple of weeks and, if you can, take the time to relax and grieve.

Frazzlerock · 26/02/2019 12:14

@Pegase, I'm pleased it has finally been sorted for you xx

DartmoorDoughnut · 26/02/2019 13:03

@TwittleBee I’ve not been in your position but I think you need to just allow yourself to feel the sadness, if you try to ignore it it’ll build up everything crossed for this pregnancy for you Flowers

@Pegase hope the Dr but wasn’t too long and you’re home soon Flowers

@Rose68 yeah I hope once it’s done I’ll just be able to move on, I’m pretty pragmatic so that should be the case but fingers/everything crossed that I’m pregnant and it sticks so I don’t have to mind!

Frazzlerock · 26/02/2019 13:47

@Dartmoor I wish I was pragmatic like you. DP is super pragmatic. I'm not sure it is something you can learn to be either... Trust me I have tried! I'm in awe at your strength regarding TTC and moving on.

@pegase - I am so pleased you are coming to the end of it all - it is sad, but you will feel better once the procedure is done. Like you say - you can then move on to trying again. Thoughts with you for tomorrow.

@frazzle - I am so sorry you are going through such a shit time again. Your DP and yourself have gone through so much, and there is so much pressure on you both. I would urge you to go to acupuncture though this week. I really enjoyed my sessions and I really feel that they helped. I felt a LOT calmer when having it, and also I conceived on the first cycle of acupuncture both times and before I went before the July BFP it had taken me 6 months of trying. It doesn't work for everyone, but it also sorted out my digestion and also helped me to sleep better. I hope that you and DP can reduce some of the pressure to allow you to get TTC again.

@Twittle - how are you feeling? Did you get anywhere with the midwife today?

@buggles - how are you?

@kinsters - yay to ovulating! Fingers crossed this is your month especially if you did everything right. Now it's just the TWW to get through!

@tigsy - I didn't really get any symptoms apart from feeling tired this time around until 6 weeks. And now I feel atrocious! I also saw that Daily Mail story and it did give me hope.....

@dartmoordonought - welcome!

I've really struggled with work this week and in fact everything. Has anyone seen Abducted in Plain Sight on Netflix - watching it now - it's crazy stuff!

Frazzlerock · 26/02/2019 15:21

Thank you @edidxb I will go along.

I watched Abducted in Plain Sight and it was chilling very very weird! I don't want to give anything away but WTAF?
I then binge watched Russian Doll with DP over the weekend which was incredible and very entertaining!
I'm also watching the Ted Bundy Tapes which, like Abducted, is also seriously chilling. It's really uncomfortable to watch but quite compulsive viewing.

Just catching up... thanks for starting yet another thread Frazzle. V much hoping you’ll be sticking with us.
So sorry to hear about your situation Pegase but glad they are now sorting things out quickly.
I really need to start viewing this thread on a pc cause it’s so hard remembering all the things I want to comment about on the mobile app!

I’ve been feeling very tired the last week. Hearing about my sister’s pregnancy has struck me much harder than I thought it would. It hasn’t helped with the sleep situation. Otherwise my slight nausea is being suppressed (but waistline sacrificed) by the occasional biscuit. Have doc appointment on Thursday. Really hoping I can get a reassurace scan, although I also hate the sight of the EPU now.

Rose68 · 26/02/2019 19:42

Oh god this thrush is killing me 😩

tigsyboo · 26/02/2019 22:04

Omg .... our house went on Rightmove yesterday.... 3 asking price offers today!!
Just agreed 3k over asking price!!!

InDreamland · 26/02/2019 22:12

@Pegase I'm so sorry it's ended like this but glad you're booked in so quickly Flowers

@tigsyboo that's amazing! Should've asked for more Wink

InDreamland · 26/02/2019 22:13

@Rose68 I hope that thrush clears quickly.

InDreamland · 26/02/2019 22:14

@Frazzlerock I'd also keep the appointment. Sorry you're going through such a tough time at the moment. I wish I knew what to say that could help x

Kinsters · 27/02/2019 01:12

Rose thrush is the worst! Until this bout I hadn't had it for years and had forgotten how awful it is. Are you about to ovulate? I don't know if it's a coincidence but both times for me it's cleared up after ovulation.

Tigsy wow, that's amazing! You'd better get looking for somewhere to move to!

Buggles glad to hear you're OK. Does your sister know you're pregnant?

Sore boobs is definitely the flavour of the month this luteal phase for me! Preferable to gassyness and nausea at least. Also I'm sick with a cold which sucks, sleep has been awful the last two nights although my temperature still seems pretty steady which is nice to see.

Buggles1 · 27/02/2019 06:13

Not yet Kinsters no. I told her about the mc at Xmas and so I assume she thought it best not to mention she was also 12 weeks then. She lives up in Birmingham so I’ve not seen her since. Feel like I need to know if this pregnancy will stick before I can move forward with it all. I guess that is wrong and I should support her whatever but it just hurts too much at the moment.

Buggles1 · 27/02/2019 06:15

Hope the cold gets better soon Kinsters. Sorry to hear about that thrush as well Rose. Is it worth seeing if the doc can suggest something other than the regular over the counter meds?

Kinsters · 27/02/2019 06:39

No, that makes sense Buggles. You have to protect yourself. How far along are you now? Fingers crossed for the early scan.

InDreamland · 27/02/2019 07:06

@Buggles1 sorry lovely don't know how I missed your post yesterday. Sorry you're finding her pregnancy difficult but I can totally understand and would be the same.

@Kinsters hope that cold goes soon. I've got another cold too. DH gave it to me. I wonder what the link is between ov and thrush clearing up, do hormones affect it?

CD29 for me and 11/12 DPO now. AF not arrived yet, based on last couple of cycles since mc#2 AF was due on Monday but given I ov'd later than usual who set off that's caused a longer cycle this month, or cycle going back to what it was before.

ratherbeshowjumping · 27/02/2019 07:58

Hi everyone,
Sorry I've been quiet, the WiFi here is rubbish and I've been using it as an excuse to leave social media alone.

@Frazzlerock thank you for the new thread & I truly am so sorry that it looks like DH is pulling the plug on it. I guess he's just worried financially but the pain you were clearly in last time... sending lots of hugs to you x
Also, watched abducted in plain sight on the plane with my DM. We were looking at each other very other minute like 🥴 WTF. Very, very odd (and sad of course!).

@DartmoorDoughnut I remember you from the July thread, I'm so sorry to see you on here 😕 fx'd this will be your month!

@Pegase sending lots of love today, good luck, I hope it goes as well as it does xxx

@tigsyboo that's fab news re the house! Have you looked at one yet? We are passively looking and went to see one on Friday before we went away and fell in love, so I read your post to DH this morning 😂

@Buggles1 I can imagine it would hit you hard. It's bound to. I'm sure this will turn out much more positive and hopefully you'll have little ones a few months apart with a close bond x

@Rose68 ouch, sorry about the thrush. Hope you're ok x

@Kinsters the cold is a great sign! And even better that your temp has remained steady... how many dpo are you now?

@InDreamland the waiting game is so frustrating isn't it 😫 sorry it doesn't sound like it's your month.

DHs thrush has finally cleared up a bit so we managed to dtd this morning. I had a cb digi fixed smiley yesterday and usually O within 24hrs of that so fx'd it isn't too late. I had O type pains last night so hoping and praying it was just indigestion and I'll O today. Not holding out for this cycle.

DSis informed me yesterday that a good mutual friend of ours is pg, she apparently aborted twins in Dec and has been off/on seeing the guy since Sept. Already has a lovely DD from her previous (long term) relationship who she split with after 15 years in the summer. Really upset me... and really upset me that my DSis thought it would be a good idea to tell me too but that's another story!

Rose68 · 27/02/2019 08:13

@Kinsters I always get thrush after ovulation, a year ago I was getting it every month after ovulation, it drove me insane & I did research it. It seems that it is a thing for thrush to occur during the LP.

Kinsters · 27/02/2019 08:15

I'm only 4dpo rather so don't think my symptoms could be pregnancy related much as I wish they were!

Why would your sister think you need to know all that?!

Indreamland not chancing another test?

Kinsters · 27/02/2019 08:17

Rose weird, mine must just be a coincidence.

InDreamland · 27/02/2019 08:25

Thanks @ratherbeshowjumping. Why on earth does anyone think telling someone who's going through what we are things like that.

@Kinsters I don't think I'll test now unless AF doesn't arrive by Sunday. I can't cope with more disappointment.
