So we told the step-sons and they were THRILLED!! Little one so chuffed he is going to be a BIG brother!! Went to bed with big smiles!! Obviously their bat-shit crazy jealous mother will try and take the shine off it when she has contact this weekend (like when she points out our dog isn't really their dog, as I had her before I knew them!) but it'll fall on deaf ears as they are chuffed to bits 😊

My chart has dropped back down and my temp today is my usual "day of ovulation" temp (does anyone else get this? Before I ovulate I nearly always have a day or two, usually two, where my temperature is 36.23 or 36.24). I discarded the post drinking temps because I'm sure they're unreliable. Argh, hurry home DH!

@Kinsters Hope he's not back too late!! Hopefully you'll have time to dtd 🤞🏼it definitely looks like you're gearing up to O, I think it was the right thing to discard those temps.

99.9% certain we missed O this month.
I did a test after a 4hr hold last night - no smiley face so dh said he'd "save his sperm" and didn't want to do it. Thought it wasn't worth arguing about because then we wouldn't do it at all.
Middle one at around 7 this morning - still no smiley face.
Bottom one - just now after a 4hr hold. Still not a flashy smiley.
The lines are definitely getting lighter aren't they?

I usually start getting the "flashing" smileys cd11 (tomorrow) so see what happens in the morning.

EWCM is drying up too.

We had our scan today and thankfully everything looked perfect. Little legs were kicking away like crazy... should be fun in a few weeks time if it carries on that way. I’m so relieved though. Can save the worry now for the 20 week scan in early June. I still feel like it isn’t quite real though, like it still isn’t meant to be. Guess I’ll really only overcome that once I have them in my arms though.

Well we’ve only managed to DTD once this month but it was on CD14 (helpfully AF started on the 1st so easy to keep track of cycle days!) so fingers crossed, I’ve been taking half an aspirin a day as I can’t quarter them so hope that helps/doesn’t do any harm if I am pregnant!

Looks like I ovulated yesterday so our timing ended up being OK (my chart is a mess of open circles and discarded temps though so can't be totally sure). Now the tww...

@Bentley111 I think I ov’d CD14 or thereabouts but I’m going off CM rather than testing and it wasn’t definite this month, egg white is normally very easily identifiable for me so I’m wondering if I didn’t ovulate this month, guess we’ll just wait and see!

Off to my parents today with the boys and the dogs but minus DH as he wants to get on with some things at home that are impossible to do with children around aka painting doors! Hope everyone has a lovely Easter

DH came home far too drunk to dtd last night... then woke up this morning feeling sick & headachey. Apparently he's coming down with something we've not argued but I am really hurt that he's not taking this more seriously.
I'm doing some freelance riding work today then off to a 2 day competition tomorrow with 3 tall, dark handsome men each with 4 legs, a mane & tail 😬 so a lovely weekend planned even if we don't manage to BD.

I'm pissed off with my DH - he's arranged a lads night away on the DUe date for our baby we lost. Apparently it's fine because I'm pregnant again - if I wasn't he wouldn't have gone?! Wtf? I don't know if the explanation helps or makes me think he's more of a dick!! Trying not to make it into a row as it's our 1st wedding anniversary tomorrow and we are going away for the night to Chester for the weekend tomorrow and also plan to do the public announcement too (although I've sent separate gentler messages to those I know are trying/struggling to let them know).

Sounds like everyone's got a nice weekend planned! I'm on a beach on one of the islands off Malaysia, doing some scuba diving and just chilling out.

We finally managed to dtd, both last night and this morning. Due to O either today or tomorrow so 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼

Yay for dtd Bentley! Fx for a nice temp rise now. It was sooo nice to go away for a few days and diving is always really relaxing. We missed out on seeing a whale shark but saw some nice turtles and reef shark. Diving will definitely be the thing I miss most when we have kids! Probably have to hang up my fins for a few years..
