Thank you 🤞🏼 8dpo today, AF is due on Saturday so I will try to hold out until Friday I think. It is the first time we've given it a decent shot in terms of BDing at the right time since the m/c so I'm trying not to lose faith but I don't feel pregnant in the slightest.
I used to love Start the Bus 😋 the "secret bars" are fab! We were a little boring & stayed on the Triangle/Park Street but it was just nice to feel in my 20s again 😂 Cornwall is so amazing but I do feel like a pensioner here sometimes.

That's great about your LP. Fx'd it stays like that for you. I've found my cycle has gradually lengthened since the mc... perhaps it's that? Oh no, are you not able to order some online?!

I reckon we've missed it for this month. OPK tailing off this afternoon and CM drying up, DH has been away past 2 nights so we haven't managed to BD at the best time, and then he's off to Hong Kong anyway on Weds a.m. Oh well 🤷‍♀️

The witch has rocked up two days early but on the plus side DH didn’t have the snip so I can try again and whilst he is away a lot this month he’ll be home during fertile window so fingers crossed!

Bentley Yes there is a Malaysian mother's day but we always celebrated the English one so are in the habit of ignoring the Malaysian one anyway.

I just looked and vitabiotics sell pregnacare directly off their own website! I can order it from the local version of amazon but I don't trust it would be legit.

Dartmoor sucks about AF but yeah, at least you can still keep trying now!

Still no AF here so if it starts today then that's a 12 day luteal phase which I'm pleased with. I don't want it to delay too much though cause at the moment my next ovulation should be at the weekend when DH is home, he'll probably then be away the first part of the week so pushing it back a couple of days to Wednesday would be the worst timing.

I've never been to Bristol (properly). I did my PGCE in Bath and had a school placement in South Bristol, but I just went to the school and home again each day. It was a ROUGH school with so many problems. I never knew Bristol was so deprived until I had my placement there. My brother also did his MA in Bristol but I never visited. But it sounds great!

@Pegase - Isn't it great to be on holiday! We have also broken up, but I'm on this stupid contract which means I am at work, but it's only 8-2 and there are no kids here so it's not too bad....the horse ride sounds fantastic!

@betty - did you manage to get anything in last night - it might still be OK?

@kinsters - that's great about your luteal phase. It must make you feel more confident for when you do fall pregnant again. It's so annoying what you can and can't get when you are out of the UK! We can get pregnacare here but it is literally twice the price of the UK. Thankfully the pregnant stuff I have got on prescription through my insurance so that's something.

I am 12 weeks this week (currently 12+2) and I have my 12 week scan on Thursday. I am SO petrified. I did however get the results of my NIPT test back (I checked and it was the Panorama brand) on Sunday and it was all clear - no signs of any chromosomal abnormalities so I am so pleased. They said it would take about 10 days to come back so I knew I was going to get the phone call any day and I was so worried. So that's another hurdle got through. Next hurdle is Thursday. My DH is away so I'm going alone which has it's positives but also would have been nice to have company.....

Bentley no way I'm pregnant sadly, we didn't dtd until 2dpo and I'd already had a temp rise/positive opk so I'm pretty sure of ovulation date. A little bit of spotting just now so might start today or tomorrow.

My temperature did pop back up this morning though so in the back of my mind I'm thinking of course my ovulation must have been later than all the signs suggested!

@kinsters the upwards peak today is peculiar. Shame you aren't as it is a lovely graph.

Stupid urge to POAS, not even FMU, or SMU for that matter. Just saw them on the side. It's so early but I've now upset myself as it's a whiter than white BFN AND I've wasted a FRER. Why do we do this to ourselves?

It is a pretty chart right!? My clearest one for a while. And yes, I was very surprised when it went up this morning. Especially because I woke up from a really deep sleep which normally gives me a low temp. Still no AF and the spotting was just a tiny amount at lunch time (which I had when I was pregnant). Ahh I'm stupidly getting my hopes up. Maybe I'll test tomorrow if my temp is still up... I only have 4 FRERs though and can't get more so it would more than likely be a massive waste.

Sorry about the BFN. I don't know why we do this to ourselves... It's just stressful and pointless. But I know I'll be joining you in this stress next month! I think it's basically impossible to chill out about it.

We had the least sexy BD ever last night. I think the issue of 'trying' is really taking its toll, there is no fun in it at all. I was just like "I'm so tired but it's a good time, do you want to?" And he was like "yeah ok" followed by fumbling about with Pre Seed in the dark then a quick shag, and 10 mins of me with my legs in the air while he fell asleep. 🙈

That's so sweet of you to offer Bentley! It's OK though, postage is really expensive and also unreliable.

Having a meltdown. Remembered I promised DH that I wouldn't test before AF was late so ran up to fish the test out of the bin before he gets home later... and there is a line.
It's really faint but it's there. The lid had fallen off the test so the nib was exposed, could it have got contaminated? Picked the test apart so the line shows better. There was only an empty loo roll and tube of toothpaste in the bin. Surely only hcg would make a line run...?
I'm going to try and hold until DH goes to work in the morning & test again 🙈

The only thing that makes the line change colour is hcg if it was an evap it would be grey, POAS!

@DartmoorDoughnut maybe I'm more reserved but I'd wait a couple of days. I got bfn at 9dpo and glaring line at 12dpo... if you can hold out 2 days you will get a more definitive result as another squinter may confuse you more?!

I'm currently back into completely worried mode, for no reason other than it's been a week since my scan and so much can change.
DH told his mum on Mother's Day (underwhelming reaction if 'I thought so') but I feel like the fact people know has put the pressure on a bit.
Nausea is milder than ever too, but good god the bloating is out of this world!! I honestly look 6 months and am struggling to find anything that covers it. I can only wear elasticated bottoms as nothing else fastens / stays fitting throughout the day.

Shit sorry I confused @dartmoor and @Bentley11!!! Doing this on the iPhone app is a pain!!

Period arrived this morning. And now FF is putting my next ovulation as a Tuesday or Wednesday which are the worst days because DH is normally away Monday - Wednesday. Sucks.

Bugger bad luck @Kinsters. No matter how easygoing I try to be about it, I'm crushed too every time AF shows 😔

My temp has spiked this morning so i think I ov'd yesterday. Which means we BD'd the night before Ov which could be ok, but we really haven't done it enough this month.

Question for charty people, does anyone know why the fertility apps always say you've ov'd after about 2 consecutive daily temp rises? If progesterone causes temp to rise, and the release of the follicle causes the production of progesterone, why isn't Ov at exactly the very beginning of the rise (ie at the bottom of the chart)? 🤔
