So good news, I don't need to have surgery. It doesn't bother me and it could cause more issues after surgery than it does now (which is zero issues) so I decided to wait and see what happens.

Thinking of everyone with big things going on today/tomorrow, it's all Go Go on this thread! I'm just pootling along waiting to Ov any day now. Still on -ve OPKs but I'll go off for lunch shortly and do one. Have DTD every other day for the last few, but forgot to take my temp this morning so my chart will be pretty much hosed this close to Ov. Anyway, we're doing the important thing (shagging) so cant really do much more than that.

Strange question but has anyone else been told they have a retroverted uterus, or otherwise awkward anatomy? Mine is retro and sometimes I get told at smear tests that it's difficult to find my cervix 🤔 I wonder if maybe that is stopping the sperm getting to where it should?? Are some positions better than others?? I'm pretty sure when I conceived DS it was a time that I spent 10 minutes after DTD with my bum elevated on a pile of pillows with my legs up the wall. Perhaps I should do the old wives tale 'cycling legs'...

@Betty as well as my stupid ovaries I also have a tilted uterus.
I only found out 3 years ago when having a scan with Emily. DP said it sounds like an extra on a car Grin
Mine is also retroverted and I never really thought about it being a further issue with TTC, given I have had two DC.
I do put my legs in the air though and I have recently started putting my mooncup (which was a pile of crap for using it for what it's meant for) in straight after to keep the sperm from falling out. Although it still seems to find its way out (much like my period) so I'm not sure if it works!

Yes, betty Frazzle (I believe I rememebred correctly?) and I have a tilted uterus. It is really common, i think it is like 1 in 5 women have it. It does state online that it shouldn't affect getting or staying pregnant and most women have no clue they have it. (I know I have one due to cervix being awkward and scanning being difficult)

I honestly just swear by keeping all the stuff in for as long as possible and fertility lube after being involved in previous conception threads.

It's totally OK to be negative Frazzle. Not being pregnant sucks.

I've totally convinced myself I'm pregnant and I'll be really disappointed tomorrow if it's a negative test. Still no bleeding today and the only cycle I didn't bleed at 10dpo was the one where I was pregnant. I could have ovulated a bit later than FF says I guess. If I put it to "research" rather than "advanced" mode it pushes me back to only 8dpo.

Lol at sheepdog preseed! At the crucial time we always do missionary and DH finishes as deep as he can. This cycle I sat with a pillow under my bum for fifteen minutes as well.

oh yeah, just to add to this conversation - I make DH go deep and stay still whilst ejaculating! I remember in biology learning about how the shape of the penis is thought to be evolutionary to encourage removal of sperm from anyone else before hand! So I don't let DH carrying on with any thrusting during him cumming for fear that he might remove some of it! (oh my we do get rather intimate and graphic on here lol!

Have awful, awful acne so think that's a sign I'm out this cycle. My pg cycle I had glowing, perfect skin just a week after dtd 🙁

Just want to add, maybe this is where we're going wrong. Dh & me bd with me on top, thinking it will go deeper, then he "flips" me over still inside me so nothing comes out, then I keep my hips up on a pillow... way tmi 🙈😂

Glad it's not just me who fusses about positioning, my DH is very patient about humouring me with all this stuff!

So CD15, LH is on the rise! I'm thinking I will Ov in the next 48hrs. Do you all think we should DTD again with pre seed tonight? No reason to think there are any motility issues, so just get as much up there as possible, right??

@betty - that looks like a great OPK - pretty much positive. If you can, DTD. I have never used preseed but it seems like it has such a positive effect just to get as many there as possible - do it do it do it!!!

I've an OPK question. On my PCOS FB group everyone seems to use the green ones like @Betty is using. But mine are purple. Are some better than others? I'm hoping not as I've got about 10 billion of the fuckers.
Although I use about 10 billion per cycle so..

well I use the green ones and if I am honest I never get a decent positive of them, I just got wise to know that when they are almost as dark as the control then they are a positive, especially as they then go negative.

but if i use supermarket or CB Opks then I get a +OPK for sure!
