I sure do @Frazzlerock. It does seem to be doing the rounds, most people at work seem to have it or have just got rid of it. DH thinks good that I'm not pregnant as might affect baby. I reminded him I catch colds easily especially travelling on the tube every day and with hayfever it's always something going on with me.

That's annoying when your body doesn't seem to make it clear what's happening. TBH that's why I rely on OPKs.

Rose68 · 31/01/2019 15:20

@Frazzle you have mentioned cervix’s a few times, so I decided to check mine out... well... I clearly have no clue because it always feels the same.

@Dreamland sorry you are feeling shit. Sending you lots of hugs.

I nearly threw up my (usually quite yummy) bean salad at lunch time 🤢

Frazzlerock · 31/01/2019 15:27

Oh poor you! You must be permanently sneezing!
I wish I could rely on OPKs - even those are wrong for me. I'm difficult Grin

Frazzlerock · 31/01/2019 15:28

Haha @Rose I think you have to check it regularly to notice any changes. Try it over the next week or so and see

OP posts:
Frazzlerock · 31/01/2019 15:29

Feeling sick? I can't remember where you are in your cycle @Rose???

OP posts:
Rose68 · 31/01/2019 15:49

I am 5dpo so definitely not related to anything like that!

edidxb · 31/01/2019 15:53

Oh gosh - we have moved onto a new thread!
@Twittle I am so worried about you. When you can, we are looking forward to hearing you are OK xxx

ratherbeshowjumping · 31/01/2019 16:00

Quick question for you, Frazzle, as you seem to be the fountain of all cervix knowledge... where should it be 1-2dpo?

Frazzlerock · 31/01/2019 16:04

You're asking me? The most biologically complicated creature you'll ever meet? haha.
I think (in theory) it should be high and closed (not sure whether should be hard or soft though). Still you can't use that to tell if pregnant as sometimes it doesn't close until 6 weeks plus.
I think you just get used to your own cervix to determine where in your cycle you are

OP posts:
Frazzlerock · 31/01/2019 16:05

For ovulation is should be high soft and open - that is prime fertile action. But mine doesn't seem to mean anything as I have a negative OPK today and temps are still boring

Also still here... quietly watching in the wings...
Can’t believe you’ve had such bad luck Twittle re a second accident. Keeping all crossed that everything is ok.
NHS is an amazing creation but it does feel like it often falls short of the desired mark.

BettySwoll0cks · 31/01/2019 16:52

I draw the line at rootling around for my cervix.

TwittleBee · 31/01/2019 17:02

So I've been discharged. They said they still weren't happy with my heart rate being so high (120bpm) but they can't keep me in just for that. They said if I am miscarrying they can't do anything to stop it anyway and are really busy so can't offer any management till next week.

TwittleBee · 31/01/2019 17:03

Total lack of compassion today

Frazzlerock · 31/01/2019 17:38

Not even a scan!?

OP posts:
BettySwoll0cks · 31/01/2019 18:11

Ffs. How are you feeling? Bleeding still stopped? A big hug x

TwittleBee · 31/01/2019 18:20

Nope no scan! They've got me booked in for Tuesday so I have to wait till then as they're too busy until then!

Bleeding seems to have stopped now but I know from last time that doesn't mean anything Sad

Dr tried telling me that if the bleeding is slowing down then I'm not miscarrying. When I told her about the MMC she just winced and changed subject!

Feel awful, head is pounding, neck is so stiff and been sick quite a bit. Luckily have family that have been helping out

ratherbeshowjumping · 31/01/2019 18:23

Twittle that's dreadful.
Are you able to book one in privately for the weekend?
I'm sure all is ok, especially if you've stopped bleeding, but just for some reassurance. Will you be ok for tomorrow? I bet that's the last thing you feel like doing xx

ratherbeshowjumping · 31/01/2019 20:24

In the worst mood.
Really sharp AF pains on my left side (so 2dpo & I'm convinced I'm out this month). DH & I have had yet another argument. And I'm guessing yet another of my really good friends is pregnant having expressed interest in this... ffs 😩

Yep... with you all on the bad mood!! Hve a killer sore throat and had been looking forward to relaxing having my hair done all week....
Went to have my hair done today.... since pregnancy and miscarriage it's all broken off around my hairline on my face it's like I have a fringe when I don't! GP said it's common with hormones changing so quickly.... so anyway hairdressser takes one root around my hair clipping it up in sections and goes 'so... come on.... when's it due - this is hormone hair!!!' In the middle of the salon!! I just winced and said 'I'm not pregnant' at which she called her colleague over and went 'come on, look at this, how long have we been doing this job... that's hormone hair isn't it' to which she agreed - deffo hormone hair. I again insisted I wasn't pregnant.... to which they said they would send the receptionist out to the pharmacy over the rd to get me a pregnancy test as '100% that's hormone hair!' - I had no choice but to just blurt out in the middle of the salon - 'I was pregnant, I'm not now -can you please just highlight my damn hair!' - I've never felt to awkward. I don't know why I didn't just leave, but my coat was put away somewhere , my hair was clipped up in sections and quite frankly my roots were desperate! Spent 2 hours trying not to cry and as soon as I got into the car burst into tears.
I know the hairdresser felt awful, she charged me £25 less than normal, and babbled on about complete shit for 2 hours. 😓

BettySwoll0cks · 31/01/2019 21:13

Oh @rather ... 🤦‍♀️

BettySwoll0cks · 31/01/2019 21:15

Crosspost ... @tigsy ... 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️

BettySwoll0cks · 31/01/2019 22:03

Well I'm with you all on the bad mood. I'm still ill (will have to go back to work tomorrow tho, work is piling up), then my MIL just cancelled coming to see us tomorrow afternoon because she's convinced the Beast from the East is inbound, and then my Aunt (who wanted to come and stay the weekend) cancelled too. I don't really care about either but my 2yo DS is going to be devastated - we even baked a cake this evening for Granny and he was looking forward to dogsitting her Jack Russell for the next 2 weeks. Fucks sake.

ratherbeshowjumping · 31/01/2019 22:07

Tigsy that's awful! How awkward 🤦🏽‍♀️ no wonder you cried! I would have done the same...

@BettySwoll0cks come and join us in the moany corner! Your poor DS, I hope he's not too upset. As a positive, at least you get a whole cake to yourself...?

Pegase · 31/01/2019 22:29

@tigsyboo I get asked if I'm pregnant by my hairdresser too. Just the once and leaves it though- I would have been fuming in your position! So rude.
