Do you have a bruise Rose? I bruised my bum so badly when we went snowboarding - sitting in a hot bath really helped so I'd second the heat pack suggestion.

I'm symptom spotting like mad here! I had an afternoon nap which I haven't done since I was pregnant. It was probably more to do with the late night, early morning and then skiing lesson followed by relaxing massage than anything else though!

Ah @Kinsters I can't wait to be in to TWW. I miss all that symptom spotting.

I'm now on CD20 and have entered the arctic with my temps. 🥶 😓 boring boring boring. Plus my bits have completely dried up so I think my ovaries are officially on strike.

In other news I have my appointment on Monday to discuss my hernia. Fun times.

Tonight we are seeing Sleeper, though I quite fancy just sleeping to be perfectly honest.
DP has gone to watch his beloved Millwall and my boys are with their dad. It's eerily peaceful in this house which I struggle with knowing there should be a baby here, or at least one growing in my tummy.

Awwww Frazzle it is weird without the kids isn't it. You crave a bit of peace but then actually it just leaves a silence that your head fills with all sorts

DH was home from his travels and we finally DTD for the first time since my mc. CD12. We're aiming for every other day until I Ov and then the day after as well for good measure. I ordered a resupply of Viridian pro conception and they've sent me the pregnancy and breastfeeding one by mistake. Classic. Deciding whether to return it or whether to be optimistic and keep it for "when" I'm pg 🤔

Had a bit of a shit day today, drama in my friendship group... so my BF & her DP are coming over for wine, curry & board games.

Boobs are killing but desperately trying not to SS this month so pretending they're not 😬

I didn't test this morning (9dpo) but I was properly nauseous earlier. Even if the egg and sperm did meet I'm not convinced my lining would be good enough anyway cause my last period was so light.

How many dpo are you rather?

@Kinsters that's really promising! Do you usually feel nauseous before AF? Will you test tomorrow?

Only 5. So it's very unlikely to be anything. But that doesn't stop my brain going into overdrive 😂

So update. Thank you for all asking after me btw. Wedding was beautiful and I managed to get through bridesmaid duties (including venturing out in the cold to hold the bride's dress up for the photos of her and the groom) but had to go up to bed early as back was killing me and I could no longer ignore the cramping and spotting. Was so hard to hold back tears.

Still sore and still cramping this morning. DH is being amazing though and looking after me.

I never used to feel nauseous pre AF but since MC my pre AF symptoms seem more pregnancy like. I'll see what my temp does tomorrow and test if it's still high. I left my tests in a baking hot car for a few hours though - don't know if that might have damaged them somehow.

Twittle glad your DH is looking after you well. The uncertainty is just awful. At least you don't have too long to wait until Tuesday.

Omg I'm so upset. DH promised me we'd do smep plan this month, I pointed out it would be around court and he said it was fine.... Cd9 - shunned me mid foreplay. Said he was fed up of 'the bulshit' and I never make any effort (not true!!) - yesterday cd10 - I made an effort, spent 15 mins on top of his kissing him, doing oral on his limp dick and nothing!! Turned into a fucking massive row about how I'm now 'being fake'. Went to sleep
Woke up this morning and he's still in a mood - told me basically he hates our sex life, it's shit, I'm crap - all a load of complete bullshit btw!! Said he's not interested in sex at the mo and all the shit with ovulation and OPK and temping is just rubbish and it's for 'gullable idiots like you who obsess about it and make them money with their shit you buy' and he expects me to stop it all and we will just do it when he is in the mood - which is no time soon!! I start shouting 'do you even want a baby' and he says of course!!! Wtf?! How can he want a baby but not have a single clue about it! I'm so angry!!
He's basically written off this month because he's an idiot!!

Oh tigsy how horrible. Why are men like this? It's weird but seems a really common attitude.

I think it is a control thing. They like to be the ones calling the shots in the bedroom and then when you are trying to take charge of that situation, they show their 'power' by refusing sex, even though they would never do that under normal circumstances.

He's a real bully at times and put everything onto me like I'm causing the problem. Truth is this 'problem' is because his ex-wife is a cunt - and that's fuck all to do with me but I'm getting the brunt!

All I can do is hope it's actually another 32 day cycle with Ov around CD18 because he's so fucking stubborn he won't do it for the next few days at least now, and fuck knows what he will do if he doesn't win at court. I honestly dread to think the mood I'll be dealing with.

I'm most upset that he agreed to do it tho, because it set my expectations up. If he has just said 'u know what, can we play it by ear that month I'd know where I stood :(

@Tigsy I’m so sorry DH is being an idiot. I am really surprised by some of the DH’s on here, thankfully it’s not a problem I have had.

Having said that DH and I have not been getting on well since he got home on Friday. I always struggle when he comes home after he’s been away for a while, plus I probably have pmt. Although the pmt seems to be reserved for him only. I am also symptom spotting, & I do have some, but I think the pmt rules me out.

Tigsy does he realise that he behaves so unfairly towards you? Has he had any counselling or work through his feelings towards his ex-wife?

Rose I feel the same after DH has been away for a while. I get used to it just being me and not having someone disturb me when I'm sleeping or who I have to not disturb in the morning etc. When do you think you'll test?

I've definitely had some symptoms but I don't know how much is just normal pre AF and/or my body trolling me. I'll definitely find out tomorrow either way because it's 10dpo when I start spotting normally.

If my body has any doubt whether I have enough food to sustain a pregnancy today should have reassured it! We've gone up to DH's grandma for Chinese New Year and there's so much food!! I used to hate coming up here because his grandma didn't like me very much to begin with but I eventually won her round and now it's one of my favourite times of year.

The earliest I would test is Tuesday, but I’m not sure if I will. It’s a relief to hear someone else say they struggle when DH comes home. I get used to things staying where I put them when he’s not here, god it’s so annoying when I put something down & then it disappears. He can’t leave anything alone. Supposedly he’s tidying up, but generally things have just been moved to a location closer to where they go (such as outside one of the boys bedrooms) rather than actually been put away. And yes, I bloody love having the bed to myself!

@Kinsters his head is so stuck up his own arse at the minute he thinks he is faultless. He's vile at the minute. Even the dogs walk away when he walks in the room.... but I've changed. I'm biting my tongue until this court thing is over, I know it's not him normally and I'm putting it down to this but if it doesn't change ... well.... who knows...

Know what you all mean about struggling when DHs are home... mine worked from home, with me, all week last week. We were together for 8 days in total. I honestly could have killed him.
In the end I lost the plot with him for making scrambled eggs & cleaning dabbing the frying pan with a piece of kitchen roll.

We've actually had a really nice weekend though... had a chill day today, went riding together this morning then went for a nice pub roast 😋
Feeling exhausted (not sure if that's because I've eaten so much), boobs are definitely sore & feeling crampy... but again just trying not to symptom spot....!!!

Sleeper were awesome last night, as usual. They honestly haven't changed. Louise Wener barely looks any different and her voice is still fab, (for those who remember them from the 90's!)

My news is that I may we'll be ovulating at long last as had a very positive OPK just now (test line darker than control line! 😱) But we all know that could be nothing. However, I've got a big spot on my face which popped up yesterday. I got the same right before ov last cycle.
Had a big temp drop yesterday then a good rise this morning so it's looking good.... but I know I get my hopes up and it's a massive fall when it proves to be a false alarm so I am taking all this with a massive pinch of salt. Especially as CM is far from fertile conditions right now. But we BDd this morning, just wish I'd used pre-seed. Will hopefully go again tomorrow (with pre seed) if temp heads in the right direction

@BettySwoll0cks Woohoo for DH being back and getting a BD in. Kick in the teeth re the vitamins but, hey, you may we'll need them very soon!

Oh @Kinsters This sounds so hopeful! But I agree about preg symptoms following MC. Maybe we've always had them, but we're hyper aware now we're TTC? As I've said before, mine is metal mouth which I'm sure only used to be a preg symptom before MC.
Ahh so jealous you're getting some proper Chinese food. It's not great in Kent 😂 Id love a good Chinese. We had Wagas yesterday which is probably the nearest we'll get to good far eastern grub in Sevenoaks.

FFS @tigsyboo I don't know how you're managing his behaviour. It sounds incredibly hard work. But I do believe it's the stress of the court thing and I'm sure he will realise once all this is over. Doesn't help with TTC though does it. When will this all be over?

Today we've done absolutely SFA.
Had sex, made an epic fry up, brought duvet downstairs and watched catch up programs (Taskmaster - we love it) and a film (Love Simon - cheesy American high school stuff but actually rather good). Then DP played FIFA while I went for a shower and he'll be cooking later. At some point we need to pick up the boys...

@ratherbeshowjumping v jealous that your DH rides with you. I actually took a ride yesterday despite being pg. I consulted DH who pointed out that usually I wouldn't even know I was pg at this stage as I don't normally test early due to irregular cycles so would be riding anyway. I just took it slow and did lateral work but have been grinning ear to ear about having some horsey time!

@Tigsy I don’t think a 50/50 split would be in the interests of the children. I strongly believe they should have one place they call home, with as much contact with the other parent as is reasonable / possible. Hopefully the judge will share that view. x

@Frazzle we haven’t had a day like that for 9 and a half years! And I guess it will be a long time until we do. Yay for positive opk too! My symptoms are dry mouth (had this last month too), strange mouth (probably a bit like metallic mouth, but I don’t think it has a taste, but again I’ve had this before and not been pregnant) and constipation. I didn’t get any pmt on my pregnancy cycle.

My temperature is still up but I did an ic and its really negative (though I know they're not very sensitive because DH didn't order my usual brand as too many people in the online reviews were saying they got false positives... errr no, they're just ultra sensitive tests!!). My temperature normally has a massive drop on CD10 though so this is a good sign for me (unless I ovulated a day or so later). I still feel nauseous but like Frazzle said since the MC I think I'm just hyper aware of "pregnancy" symptoms because I've now experienced what they are.

Tigsy yes, perhaps it's just the court case stressing him out. Hopefully it is. And hopefully you guys win. Why has she suddenly upped what she wants so much? Just to piss you off.

Frazzle that sounds like a perfect day and fingers crossed for ovulation! We get a lot of really nice Asian food out here but I do miss a good cheddar ploughman's sometimes.

Rose I think it's totally normal to feel that way. I love my DH and we get on really well but it's hard to switch from him being away to being home sometimes (I think it's when I'm feeling hormonal lol).

Edidxb I hope you're doing ok and having a nice time off work - you were on holiday this week if I remember correctly?
