I would have the baby too....

InDreamland · 01/02/2019 09:47

Form an orderly queue.

Rose68 · 01/02/2019 09:51

😂

Frazzlerock · 01/02/2019 10:19

I don't know about this baby news. I haven't seen any news yet and doesn't appear to be doing the round on my FB as these things usually do. I'm not sure I want to read it, sounds so sad Sad

@Dreamland I come into London Bridge. I'm in Aldgate so yes very near!

TwittleBee · 01/02/2019 10:45

I am so shocked at that news. Baby mist have been found super quick! Just in a bag! Ffs awful

So on my way to the wedding venue now with the other BMs to get ready. The MOH is driving us now, was meant to be me, and she's smoking in the car!!!!!! I am so angry, she knows I'm pregnant and knows my history of MC. She's so feisty though I don't dare say anything.

Frazzlerock · 01/02/2019 10:48

Oh god @Twittle, I'd tell her to stop at the nearest train station and I'd make my own way there

OP posts:
TwittleBee · 01/02/2019 10:50

Thank fully it's only a 15 minute drive! But why couldn't she wait to have a cig!

Frazzlerock · 01/02/2019 11:06

I'm not really feisty but I can get very passive aggressive and I would definitely be saying something!

@InDreamland and @Rose68 I had exactly the same thought about that baby. I thought, if I took that one in but then managed to have another one of my own, would I cope?! Ridiculous how quickly your mind races forward.

InDreamland · 01/02/2019 11:28

@Frazzlerock my sister works and Aldgate, I go through Aldgate East often as travel in from the East of London.

@Twittlebee I'd say something. It's rude to smoke around people of you know they're pregnant or have something like asthma.

@Bettyswoll0cks I would happily have that baby and my own if I was lucky enough to get pregnant a third time but this time bring a healthy baby home.

ratherbeshowjumping · 01/02/2019 11:57

Sorry to divert, but does anyone have any experience of EWCM after ovulation?
I've had lotion cm for the past 3 days, now 3dpo, I've just been to the loo and got loads of EWCM....? This mc has completely screwed my body up Sad

Frazzlerock · 01/02/2019 12:06

@Dreamland that is exactly where I work - Aldgate East. In fact I am directly over one of the exits.

@rather I think that is a good sign...

BettySwoll0cks · 01/02/2019 12:42

@InDreamland I know me too, I was just saying (not very clearly) how amazingly strong that instinct is to want to rescue and protect little babies that almost immediately, your mind races forward into all the practicalities. Not wondering if I could cope so much as "how am I going to make this work?" As though it might actually happen that I will adopt that poor little tot. I get the same thing when I'm listening to the horrifying stories about the humanitarian crisis in the Yemen - in my head, with absolute certainty, I'm going to jack in my job and devote my life to making a difference and rescuing the malnourished babies.

Then I switch the radio off and go back to real life, and feel just about as helpless as everybody else in the face of such tragedy.

BettySwoll0cks · 01/02/2019 12:46

@Frazzlerock I just read your earlier post about being last to conceive again, I a, right there with you, I haven't ovulated yet or DTD since my mc so I am most definitely behind the drag curve!!

Frazzlerock · 01/02/2019 12:49

oh man @betty, I had no idea Sad When was your mc?

Rose68 · 01/02/2019 14:04

Well that was a lovely morning sledging and freezing my tits off! I finally get a go on the sledge with DS2 and we hit a rock, which my coxis took the full brunt of. The sledge is certainly broken, and I’m pretty sure if anything was going on inside me it wouldn’t have survived that jolt. 😢

Frazzlerock · 01/02/2019 14:37

oh no @Rose I hope you're okay. I'm sure if anything was going on, there would be plenty of protection. But your poor butt Sad

We were hoping for sledgable snow but only got a light dusting. We've some awesome hills near our house and last year was so much fun but no such luck this time.

ratherbeshowjumping · 01/02/2019 15:01

Really @frazzle?! Don't get me too excited, I'll spend the next 2 weeks convincing myself I'm pg. Just want to curl up under a rock and wake up with either a BFP or AF (preferably BFP!! Grin)

Aww Rose hope you're ok! They're fairly cushioned in there, if there was anything it would be fine. Coxis batterings are painful though Sad

We have no snow either, yet 10 miles away cars have been abandoned and people slept in pubs etc last night... madness!

BettySwoll0cks · 01/02/2019 16:49

@Frazzlerock Christmas Day 😔

InDreamland · 01/02/2019 21:36

@Frazzlerock sounds like you have a long commute.

@Bettyswoll0cks I know what you mean about helping the world then going back to reality.

@Rose oh dear I hope you're ok. I'm sure anything in there will be well protected.

I think I'm tipsy. Had whisky to try get rid of this cold

Kinsters · 02/02/2019 00:13

I think it's rude to smoke in a car full stop! Horrible.

I know one temperature isn't the be all and end all but my temp dropped today and I can't help but compare it to my pregnancy chart which was really lovely and smooth.

edidxb · 02/02/2019 04:15

I'm very jealous of the cold weather stories. I would love a snow day!
I went to see Othello yesterday and I've never studied it or seen it before so it was a bit hard going for the first 30 mins or so but I got into it it was 3 hours in total which is a long time to concentrate after the craziest work week ever but there is something about being in a full theatre that makes me feel good.
@kinsters my temps have been zigazgging the whole of the 2ww all above the cover line but 36.3 to 36.7 and back again and I got a BFP so there's hope yet.
@frazzle fantastic news about your DP. That would be brilliant if he worked by you. You could eat chicken and waffles every day!
@rose68 how is the injury today?
@Twittebee how was the wedding?

After posting on here yesterday with my positive test I then started spotting and spotted all day yesterday. I know it could be OK but I am still only 12DPO today so not even at the missed period stage. I do hope it's not a chemical. I couldn't help myself.and tested again yesterday but line no stronger so I am leaving the next test until Monday.

Pegase · 02/02/2019 07:38

Could be implantation @edidxb ?

BettySwoll0cks · 02/02/2019 08:22

Yes, would be good timing for implantation bleed @edidxb so fingers crossed x

Rose68 · 02/02/2019 08:27

I also think it’s terrible to smoke in a car with passengers that don’t smoke, and to do so with a pregnant passenger is unbelievable.

@edidxb I’m not surprised you tested again, I’m keeping everything crossed for you.

@Twittlebee how are you getting on?

I am struggling somewhat to sit down, particularly on hard chairs and the floor. ☹️
