Has anyone else seen the latest Samsung add which shows a couple viewing their baby with a phone that has an ultrasound smartphone attachment on it... apparently the tech is already available, they’re just working on making it cheaper. Wouldn’t that be amazing...

Pegase · 11/02/2019 19:40

Ha I think that would feed my anxiety even more! DH and I barely even discuss the pregnancy. When we do it is like a guilty pleasure because feel so doubtful I will make it to 12 weeks. Don't think I will buy anything for many many weeks if it even works out.

tigsyboo · 11/02/2019 20:10

@Pegase ..... that's so true but so sad. Miscarriage.... stealing happiness away from pregnancy, forever!

InDreamland · 11/02/2019 20:57

Oh wow, this thread moves fast. I'll have to catch up properly.

Hope you're all well!

I'm now CD13 and on my 5th day of flashing smiley on the CB OPK. I'm wondering how quickly the coQ10 trashes to have any effect. Got results from the clinic for my AMH blood test, she said it's very good for my age and it looks very reassuring - I'm hoping that's all a good sign. I'm so desperate to be pregnant before my birthday but that means it has to be this cycle.

InDreamland · 11/02/2019 21:03

Slowly catching up on here.

Jumping in on the convo about putting on weight. I feel like I've piled it on from my two failed pregnancies last year. It needs to come off but I can't stop eating!

@Pegase I know that feeling of mc train b all the joy out of pregnancy. I was so anxious for the short time I was pregnant with our second one. I know if we're lucky to get a third pregnancy I'll be even more anxious than the last one. Fingers crossed for you that this is a sticky bean!

InDreamland · 11/02/2019 21:05

@Buggles1 I saw that ad. All I could think was yet another tv ad playing on the happy perfect families ....... the one thing I'm struggling to get. Any adverts with babies and pregnancy kills me inside. Sad I know!

BettySwoll0cks · 12/02/2019 06:54

Morning all, my chart is officially a load of crap this month. I haven't had a decent temp rise at all (one spike because I got up to go to the loo at 5am) and its all to do with disturbed sleep. DH is sick but anyway he's in my bed from about midnight every night and wakes me up at least 6-10 times between then and 6.30. I don't know how I'm going to sort that out, he is just so attached to me 😔

Ov date is worth btw because of my low temps - I ov'd on CD16 (EWCM/OPK/Ov pain)

Hope everyone has a good day xx

BettySwoll0cks · 12/02/2019 06:55

DH should've been DS!! DH barely gets to sleep in my bed at all atm...

Frazzlerock · 12/02/2019 07:17

@BettySwoll0cks I don't know how you would get around temping/DS waking up.
What is waking him?

Well as predicted, the inevitable downward trend 📉 (ha, there's an emoji for that) is well and truly established.
I am willing to bet my entire house on not getting a BFP this cycle.
I wonder when I'll ovulate next... maybe DP and I could actually have sex at ovulation and be in with a chance. Because right now I feel like we're using temping as a contraceptive 😓

@Frazzlerock I don't think he wakes up (except when he comes down to my room), he just snores, cries out and/or punches me in the face constantly until dawn.

Your chart doesn't look that bad? Ov-2 is the most fertile day and your temp is going to fluctuate a bit during LP - you're still way above the coverline?

Frazzlerock · 12/02/2019 08:10

How frustrating for you, you must be exhausted Sad

My chart did this last cycle, it's still way above cover line but it is on it's way down. My chart stayed way above coverline until the day AF arrived, then I got the steep drop. So being above cover line means nothing for me sadly.
The blue dots are when we BDd so we BDd the day before ov, rather than 2 days before. The red dots are spotting.
I think if the timing doesn't fuck me over, then the spotting will have done.
According to Ovusense, we Bd'd once over my entire ovulation window.
GP will call me today re spotting, I wonder what she will have to say...

@InDreamland know exactly what you mean. I especially hate adverts or programmes showing happy couples seeing their positive pregnancy test and being so excited... just keep thinking they have no idea of the potential sadness to come.

Frazzlerock · 12/02/2019 08:22

@Buggles and @dreamland, exactly!

A friend on FB posted a scan picture of her friend's baby (why would you do that anyway?) saying how excited she was that her best friend was expecting her first baby - err, no actually. Anything could happen and in my experience, chances are it will, so shut up with your jumping the gun you idiot.
I hate FB

I hope that phonecall goes okay Frazzle and she can offer some reassurance

Those adverts are awful. So many times I have been bought to tears by stupid ads.

ratherbeshowjumping · 12/02/2019 08:56

You must be exhausted Betty...

@Frazzlerock I hope your phone call goes ok xx
Keep positive with your chart, and remember once is all it takes.

I hate those ads too. Also hate anything to do with babies, pregnancy etc.

We are officially out for next cycle too. We are on holiday with my parents in their villa over FW, so would have been hard to dtd anyway, yet now my DSis is joining us & sleeping in the room next door. So absolutely no chance. Ffs.

Frazzlerock · 12/02/2019 09:02

@rather I also hate anything to do with babies.

i managed to watch the entire series of Emma Willis Delivering Babies before we lost our little one and I loved it and it got me so excited.
No I can't even bear to see the title of it in the TV listings Sad

Oh I can't believe the timing for you next cycle, that would finish me off I think.

OP posts:
TwittleBee · 12/02/2019 09:13

rather any chances you could maybe have a night in the villa alone whilst they go out for a meal?

ratherbeshowjumping · 12/02/2019 09:13

@Frazzlerock I loved that programme when I was pg...and even before I fell pg because I just knew it could happen... then the horrible hard truth of mc hits you & you realise that until you have that soft, squishy baby in your arms, there's no point in getting excited at all... 😕

ratherbeshowjumping · 12/02/2019 09:14

@TwittleBee that's a really good idea actually...... or if they go out for lunch, we could opt for a "lazy lunch by the pool" instead....

Rose68 · 12/02/2019 09:39

@Rather our DS2 was conceived on holiday in a villa with DH’s family and DS1 sleeping in our room. We were getting ready to go out for the afternoon and DS1 was having a nap in his cot, I had got a negative opk but I knew it was the right time, so one quick bunk up just after lunch while everyone else was in the villa, then I got straight up, got ready and we went out. That was after nearly a year of ttc with one mc in that time, so I was quite stressed about it. In fact I had pretty much given up. So if you want it, it’s definitely possible, and being on holiday is a great time to conceive. x

ratherbeshowjumping · 12/02/2019 10:25

@Rose that restores some hope... just feel like a naughty teenager...! And the walls really are paper thin in there....!

Frazzlerock · 12/02/2019 10:50

Sounds like a plan @rather!

GP just called and, as I already knew, all swabs were clear. Showed up a bit of thrush which I didn't even know I had. Although my bits were a tiny bit tingly at the time but thought it was just lots of BDing or time of cycle. I have no idea how you get thrush. I thought it would be a lot worse than a little tingle but it seems fine now, so it has gone on its own.
GP is sending me for ultrasound of my womb to check there's nothing left behind after my surgery. If there is nothing wrong then I guess it is just my body getting back to normal again.

I feel like the past three years my womb and vajayjay have been investigated more times than the culprits in Silent Witness.

Sorry haven't read everyone's updates but having a bad day if anyone reading. Have started having discharge very faintly tinged with pink after this entirely cleared up after implantation. Am practically having a full on meltdown at work as this is how the mc started last time. Such a faint amount that it felt like I was imagining it which then progressed to proper bleeding. Is almost the exact same time of pregnancy as well. Feel sick.

tigsyboo · 12/02/2019 13:55

@Pegase I know you must be worried sick but try not to panic hun. Sending you massive hugs xxx
