Oh no! Can you phone epu? It really still could be ok. I’m thinking of you @Pegase xxx

Frazzlerock · 12/02/2019 14:08

I'm here @Pegase Can you go home?

OP posts:
edidxb · 12/02/2019 14:13

@pegase - I hope you are OK. I know you are a teacher like me and it can be so hard to go home as you leave someone else to do your job, but I think you should go home if you can and also like @rose68 says try and get yourself to EPU or the doctor.
It really could be nothing. As we have seen on here, lots of people spot throughout their pregnancies and are fine and even have full on bleeding. I also know how it is how a mc starts too, but just try and stay positive xxx

edidxb · 12/02/2019 14:15

@frazzle, I get thrush quite a bit. I think you are more susceptible if you eat sugar but I know that's not the case with you!! The candida thrive off it. You can also get it through not being aerated(!) enough down there.....but also just for one of those things and it's caused by stress.
I usually get it a 4 times a year or so and it generally clears up by itself. Sometimes I have the the pessary stuff from the pharmacy if it is really bad. Hope you are relieved it's nothing serious xx

Pegase · 12/02/2019 14:25

I really don't want to go to EPU which I know is stupid. Every time I go, they are just so rude to me and make me feel like I am wasting their time

It is half term next week so maybe I could hold out till then.

Bloody Ovia just sent me a notification to say the embryo's heart should have started beating today. Unless it has failed and now that's why I have started spotting Sad

Thanks for the handhold though.

ratherbeshowjumping · 12/02/2019 14:59

@Pegase, I second what everyone else is saying, get to the EPU or call the GP or community midwife. You can't stay at work like that, I know that your job is hard to leave, but please please don't leave it until half term xxx

BettySwoll0cks · 12/02/2019 15:31

@Pegase I agree with the others, don't worry and suffer in silence. If you're worried they'll dismiss you because it's 'only light spotting', tell them that you're full-on spotting if you want to; you know your body and you're concerned that's the next stage which is perfectly reasonable xx

Frazzlerock · 12/02/2019 15:56

@edidxb yes relieved its nothing else and I guess they can remove whatever might be left in there after my US.
I was just surprised that thrush wasn't more troublesome than a slight tingle. When people say they have it it is usually with lots of discomfort.
Maybe I am just tough Wink

@Pegase, how are you now?

OP posts:
ratherbeshowjumping · 12/02/2019 15:59

Ps. sorry @Frazzle, didn't mean to ignore you... glad all is well (bar the thrush!). I've never had it but heard it's not pleasant, you just must be made of tough stuff!

@Pegase is it easing up at all?

BettySwoll0cks · 12/02/2019 18:28

I've got a really heavy feeling in my lower tummy this afternoon, almost feels like I've done 50 sit ups and my muscles are aching. Really emotional/grumpy too. Almost certainly just exhaustion but it's impossible not to notice these little things at 7dpo ...

ratherbeshowjumping · 12/02/2019 19:46

That's sounding positive Betty.... tentatively crossing my fingers... when will you test/how strong is your willpower?

Still waiting to come on. It seems my body is really enjoying torturing me & ensuring that AF very loudly makes her presence known 😢 worst cramps since the mc!

BettySwoll0cks · 12/02/2019 20:45

Probably nothing @rather. AF normally due next Mon/Tues but since it's my birthday on Sat I might do a cheeky test then, just in case.

Sorry you are being tortured by your own body 😔 hopefully once AF starts it'll ease up a bit x

tigsyboo · 12/02/2019 21:27

@Pegase how are you hun?
@BettySwoll0cks FX for you xx

Pegase · 12/02/2019 22:16

So no more spotting since this afternoon which is good. It was exactly like this last time though. Thought it was nothing and then after a few days of hardly anything the proper bleeding started. Will see if there is any more in the morning and then make a decision. Last time it was worst in the morning after overnight. Trying not to think about it to be honest as I feel like someone has punched me in the stomach whenever I do.

Hope everyone else is having a better day!
x

edidxb · 13/02/2019 06:31

@pegase, I hope things have eased off for you a bit this morning.
@betty - that does sound mildly promising.........what are you doing for your actual birthday?

Pegase · 13/02/2019 07:08

Good luck with the testing Betty FX for you!

Sadly more brown discharge this morning. Still holding out on the EPU as they can't do anything anyway if it is going wrong. I'm only 6 weeks pregnant. Again.

Pegase · 13/02/2019 07:10

Feeling v angry though. I did everything right this time. No caffeine , no alcohol, pregnancy vitamin every day all right from conception.

Also @Frazzlerock if you do end up prone to thrush, probiotic capsules are v helpful in addition to the flucanazole tablet.

Frazzlerock · 13/02/2019 08:33

@Pegase I so hope it all turns out fine for you.
Re doing everything right, I did too with Popsy so I understand your anger, but maybe it will be okay. Easy for me to say though Sad

I don't think I have ever had thrush before so I hope this isn't a new regular thing! Although not sure I'd know about it tbh as I didn't really have any symptoms.
I don''t think I can possibly take anymore supplements and meds. I take ten tablets/capsules per day plus powdered inositol and folate in my drinking water, 12 tabs/capsules when taking EPO between AF and Ov. It's a full time job keeping on top of them all Grin

@Pegase please go to the EPU. I hope it's nothing and your little bean is getting comfy in there.

@betty do you think you will hold out until AF is due or will you test early? Fx for you this cycle.

Bit worried about this cycle, I'm now CD15 and still having a flashing smiley. Might not ov this month Sadthat's 7 days now of high but no peak as started flashing on CD9 which is the earliest I've had on a CB OPK. The stick when I took it out of the holder has a faint line on it last night and this morning. Starting to panic now after the positive AMH results.

Typical as I've stocked up on FRERs - Boots 3 for 2 offer for the double packs. Thought it would be good to have 6 in the house in a moment of madness and now I bet I'll never need to use them.

Rose68 · 13/02/2019 08:59

@Indreamland I think the OPKs can miss the surge sometimes. Both times that happened to me I got pregnant with DS1 and DS2.

@Pegase I would definitely go to the epu, but FX it turns out to be nothing & all is ok in there.

TwittleBee · 13/02/2019 08:59

oh no Pegase what a bloomin horrible scare and anxious time for you. I am so so so sorry that you have to go through this uncertain time. I really hope that all is fine with your little baby. I know how you feel regarding the EPU Sad Even if you do go and get checked out there is then the wait that they make you do til the next scan before confirming a MC. Not wanting to get hopes up, as reality is best I believe in these situations, but it really is 50:50 so can go either way. I had spotting again this time and all, touches wood , looks to be fine.

InDreamland dont lose hope, you might not get a chance to use all 6 because hopefully you will just need one to see a BFP!

Frazzle thrush is super odd, I suffer with it quite a bit actually (but I am a proper sugar fiend and I know the rest of the women in my family suffer from it regularly too...) but strangely even when I am not having any symptoms I will flag up positive for it when tested. I was on the creams etc constantly last couple pregnancies.

Betty oh yes birthday BFP would be lovely! FX

oh sorry you are having shit AF cramping Rather

Rose68 · 13/02/2019 09:00

@Indreamland what was your AMH?

Frazzlerock · 13/02/2019 09:03

@indreamland could you just ovulate later than usual? Is that normal for someone without hormonal issues?
My ov date goes from CD14 up to CD32 so far (since I have been tracking). Though I've never used an OPK with flashing smileys, only the piss sticks. So far, I have had about 2 LH surges per cycle

I'm now 9DPO and can't even think about testing. I wouldn't put myself through that. Nope, like I did last cycle, I will wait for AF to tell me I am not pregnant.

ratherbeshowjumping · 13/02/2019 09:07

@Pegase is it not worth just a phonecall to the midwives? I'm so sorry you're going through all of this. Is your dh being supportive?

Lol Frazzle, I bet you're rattling at the min! Good on you taking so much though.

@InDreamland, I think it's normal to have so many flashing days. I haven't experienced it but lots of women on here do. I wouldn't be concerned, just keep BDing xx

Pegase · 13/02/2019 09:12

@InDreamland I ov'ed on day 20 so had about 13 days of high with no peak so there is still time!
