14dpo will be next Monday. I know... and I really appreciate all your good vibes, but my gut instinct is telling me we have not been lucky. I have never felt so sure of not being pregnant! Even when we were not trying and he was using the pull out method, I still thought I was in with more of a chance than I feel now for some reason. 100% expect AF to arrive Monday or Tues next week.

Still.... I got another little charm from the preseed I ordered. It was a little stork in a tiny little pouch Grin. Was it on here that someone said they got a charm with their preseed?

so bloomin hope you do get a lovely surprise instead Frazzle !

never knew pressed sent out charms?

Frazzlerock · 11/02/2019 11:14

@Twittle mine was from Dr Fertility. I got a little note on a card too, can't remember what it said now but it was a lovely personal touch.

@Frazzle, I concur with rather, it’s not a stupid bit of string. I never got a charm with my preseed (sulky face).
@Rather I saw about the equestrian flu on the news this morning and I thought of you.
@Kinsters have a fab time skiing! God a love skiing, it’s really the only thing that still gives me some excitement and happiness.

Re the clomid thing, I think I might be able to get my hands on some, but maybe self medicating isn’t a good idea. From what I have read on-line, it looks like you can use it to improve egg quality. But I suspect being the bitch troll from hell is likely to be the only outcome ☹️

Rose68 · 11/02/2019 11:24

@Frazzle What is your chart looking like? I don’t think you can be so sure this early... in fact isn’t it too early for symptoms still? Hang in there and you might be pleasantly surprised. xxx

Frazzlerock · 11/02/2019 11:28

@Rose I really wouldn't self medicate, especially with Clomid. It has to be monitored very closely by a medical professional. It does all sorts to your hormones and the multiples thing is a high risk in itseIf. I've heard a lot about it on my PCOS group.
I know how desperate you (and all of us) are, but I don't think this is the way to go about it xx

OP posts:
Frazzlerock · 11/02/2019 11:32

@Rose68 my chart is looking okay. There is no way to tell until AF comes as my temps stayed high until the day before AF last cycle.
I just have this feeling it hasn't happened, you know? I know you know xx
Re symptoms, I wouldn't expect any until 6 weeks pregnant I don't think. I know that any 'preg' symptoms in TWW are just hormones gearing up for AF. It sounds negative, but this time I just feel like it's realistic rather than negative. I think I have made my peace with it now but who knows how I'll react when AF arrives!

Sorry I have been quiet as feeling v lethargic and ill still post-flu.

I am having pg symptoms this time- mainly needing a wee every five bloody seconds and agonising boobs and am only 5+5. Coming up to the date I mc'ed last time soon which was between 6-7 weeks so feeling v v anxious and therefore grateful for the symptoms as I had none at all with the mc.

ratherbeshowjumping · 11/02/2019 12:09

I have never had a charm either (very sulky) Grin
Honestly Frazzle, the month I never even considered I would be pg was the month I fell pg. DH and I had a huge row, I ran out of OPKs, had no car to get more... just a disaster month. You genuinely have no idea until next week. Keep positive!

@Rose, ah thank you. Hopefully it should be contained fairly soon - I think in the deepest depths of Cornwall, mine will be fairly safe.

Sorry you're feeling so rough @Pegase, surely that can only be a good thing though?

In agony with horrid pre-AF cramps this morning. Hope it just hurries up and goes now. If I don't fall pg next cycle, we have no chance of having a baby in 2019. That's such a saddening thought.

Frazzlerock · 11/02/2019 12:30

@Pegase glad you're okay, despite suffering! I hope you feel better soon.

@Rather oh no, that's really sucks Sad I have just worked out that next cycle would give us a baby around mid-late December so, like you, last chance for 2019 Sad a 2020 birthday does sound kinda cool though..

OP posts:
Frazzlerock · 11/02/2019 12:31

and I've got all these bloody gorgeous newborn summer clothes to use too Sad Why did I buy them FFS!?

OP posts:
BettySwoll0cks · 11/02/2019 12:42

Just discovered I've been taking DH's pro conception for men over the weekend 🤦‍♀️

BettySwoll0cks · 11/02/2019 12:42

At least one of us has been, I guess...

Frazzlerock · 11/02/2019 12:44

hahaha @betty at least your swimmers will be in good shape Grin

OP posts:
TwittleBee · 11/02/2019 12:57

sorry you've been feeling awful Pegase and sorry you are anxious too, totally understandable though. FX you get past that milestone smoothly and rest of PG is all good too

oh that really is a sad though Rather Sad Hope it happens for you and everyone soon.

Frazzle yeah I made that mistake as well with the summer clothes...

Betty haha oh dear! Maybe leave them in different places?

ratherbeshowjumping · 11/02/2019 12:58

@Betty at least they're getting used... 🙈

@Frazzlerock ffs. Have you got any friends who are due this spring/summer? Could always gift them, at least they'll get worn?

I've still got our baby blanket in the spare room upstairs. Dh asked if maybe we should use it for a nice throw in the lounge. I almost bit his head off 🙈

Frazzlerock · 11/02/2019 13:04

I don't want to give them away @Twittle, especially not to anyone expecting in the summer when mine should have been born.
Maybe when/if I finally have my baby and I am out of all this horridness, I will be able to give them away. I think I feel too close to them right now.

@Rather Oh they don't think do they!!

OP posts:
TwittleBee · 11/02/2019 13:21

I cant bring myself to give them away either Frazzle despite knowing 4 people who are due roughly when we should have been. A few things I have neatly folded away in my baby's box of things. I've saved a few things for this baby now as I think it could still be possible to wear some of it in September with layers. And tbh, if this baby is anything like DS it will come 3 weeks early anyway so will be born in August... I shall be under consultant led car - MW bloody scared me too as she said it is highly probably that this one will come even earlier.

Rather I would have bloody lost it at DH! Why do they just not get it?!

Frazzlerock · 11/02/2019 14:38

I am sure you are in safe hands @Twittle, try not to worry if at all possible.
I think I will put my baby in the summer stuff anyway and, like you say, layer up on top. Maybe they can be indoor clothes. Well, that is unless it takes me that long to have ababy that I will be genuinely using the summer clothes next summer - man I hope it doesn't take that long, I will go insane. That will be 4 years of desperation - I will deffo be in a mental home but you can all visit

My horrid TWW metal mouth is so bad today, I cannot wait for this to be over. Once AF arrives it will be gone! I'm trying not to give into going to buy chewing gum as I am avoiding artificial sweeteners.
Lunch time was a lovely break from it, but I can't eat all day

OP posts:
ratherbeshowjumping · 11/02/2019 15:28

Oh @Twittle that's rubbish but at least you're in the safest hands. What's your current DD?

I did buy a few bits, but they weren't particularly seasonal - cute leggings - so easily could be worn indoors in the winter. Obviously I've got the blanket too.
I did buy some mat jeans as I was starting to feel uncomfortable in my usual ones, but hopefully they'll be fine for whenever.

Frazzle, save me a room, I might have to join you in there....!
What did you have for lunch? I made a really lovely mozzarella salad - wish I could eat all day.

Frazzlerock · 11/02/2019 15:53

I've got a whole bag of maternity clothes as I buy them for every pregnancy. Most of it is winter stuff, long sleeves etc.

Ahh I love mozzerella - I mis cheese. Can't wait to start having that again once preg. All this avoiding stuff can do one!
Me, I had a mushroom and black rice soup. It's a brand called English Provender and it is delicious. they are all (I think) gluten free, dairy free, sugar free so right up my street. My faves are the Thai Chicken and the mushroom one. Waitrose and Sainsburys sell them. I also had a slice of rye bread with butter, and then a orange choc Naked bar.

We've spag bol tonight cooked by my unemployed DP Grin

He had another really successful interview today so hopefully should be working again soon. Fingers crossed! And if he does get work soon then he still has three months pay from the last job so we could be looking at one hell of a knees up for our wedding next year Grin

OP posts:
Rose68 · 11/02/2019 16:12

@Frazzle I have been living on naked bars! And similar x

Frazzlerock · 11/02/2019 16:13

@Rose the blueberry muffin one! Soooo gooood!

OP posts:
Rose68 · 11/02/2019 16:41

And the salted caramel one yum yum

edidxb · 11/02/2019 16:41

We can't get naked bars here but my parents always bring some when they come. I've only tried the berry delight ones but they're so good!
We also had spag bol tonight, but it was from the freezer that I cooked ages ago and the pasta was spirals not spag..........but all was good!
@pegase I think it's great you are feeling rough - in the nicest possible way! I'm feeling OK at the moment which is worrying but am trying not to worry.....
