Yammers thread 10!

Yammer rules:

A safe place for those of you who have been trying to conceive for 6+ months and even yams aren’t helping. Come and have a good ol’ bitch and a moan without judgement. Please read the rules before posting!

The Yam Commandments are as follows;

• Thou shalt not arrive one day and post BFP next day

• Thou shalt not give advice to others when TTC for one month only

• Thou shalt not participate in one-up-manship and realise TTC is shit for everyone in different ways

• Thou shall allow posters to be fucked off with the world and everything in it at regular points in the month

• Thou shalt not be offended by strong language

• Thou shalt not tell everyone to eat yams

• Thou shall accept being called a muppet for testing at 7dpo at 9pm at night

• Thou shalt not symptom spot during the two week wait and must be prepared for a telling off if you do so.

-Thou shalt not post pictures of positive pregnancy tests. We will be delighted to hear about it but no photos, please and thank you

As if there's three of us all so close 🙈 I'm from Portsmouth but I've been up here years. I'm not free on nursery days for a while as I have assignments due in but if you two do meet and I can it sounds lovely.

Well I've just had my shortest cycle at 39 days. Here's hoping 18 months after the coil removal my cycles are returning to normal

Awww @Aph413 the bloody coils got a lot to answer for. Where you repeatedly told fertility would immediately return too ? X

@impatientmammy yep that's exactly what they told me. I only had 4 periods last year, I'm assuming losing a little weight is helping too. I gained 2 stone on the coil and I've managed to lose 1 of those so far, annoyingly my periods were 29 days exactly before I had the coil.

@Aph413 I remember on removal "you could even be pregnant already" 👊 😑 my luetal phase was super short for about 9 months after x

@impatientmammy I am happy to sell it to you discounted if your interested, seeing as I dont have the box anymore. Would just be the watch and the charging wire. PM me if your interested.

@impatientmammy okies.. thought id offer. 😊 pregnancy has been pretty rough the past few weeks to be honest but its getting better thanks. Dont wanna say anymore on this thread and be THAT woman.. you know? 😂

@fairyann keeping everything crossed for you! My TWW was HARD! I had to really keep myself busy to stop thinking about it. If i could give you some advice.. Be social.. do things you have been meaning to do for ages.. just to keep your mind busy. 😊 when are you testing??

First day back at work and I find out that 4 of the nurses are pregnant 😟 They’re some of my favourite people here and are happy to listen if I want to talk about what happened to me but I’ll be honest it’s pretty fucking hard right now. Sitting in my office trying not to cry. On the plus side, 48 hours until my fertility specialist appointment.

Oh @BGDino it's so shit when you're surrounded by it isn't it. Not much I can say to make things better than I know how you feel and you're not alone. Sending hugs xx

@pinkemi @impatientmammy Testing Friday. They got 11 eggs in the end, and 7 of those ended up being implantable/freezable quality, so really happy about that.

Had a bit of a bleed today so worrying now. They said that could happen but doesn't stop you fretting

@fairyann Wow! 7 lasting to freezable quality is amazing! They only managed to get 5 from me and 3 lasted.. so two are in the freezer. Are you going to hold out until official testing day?

@impatientmammy it depends on the quality of them and / or your age. They only implanted one for me because of my age (below 35.)

I've just had some bloods taken from 21 days tests and thyroid test, really hoping it's an easy fix, whatever is wrong, if anything!

We were very lucky to have so many, just have to wait now.

I called the clinic about the bleeding and they advised I go home and rest, so that's what I'm doing. Horrible wait ahead now though til Friday ☹️
