Hi and welcome to the newbies!
@strawberrye I was super unimpressed when they reported that Meghan told the Royal family on the day of Princess Eugenie's wedding - like seriously she could have picked any day, and that's the one you choose? Someone else's wedding day?! Also it seems like Kate was much less "look at me, I'm pregnant" with all 3 of her children. Yay for your thyroid being back to normal range, I totally understand what you mean by unhelpful appointments - my first appointment with my obstetrician 6 weeks after losing my son I learned nothing new and it was so incredibly depressing and upsetting. There's never anything wrong with a second opinion.
@Owlpatrol have still got everything crossed for you.
@bunhead34 - can I average out with you, I don't ovulate at all! (Thank goodness for ovulation induction!)
@xxcheshiremumxx you're much better than me in giving up caffeine!
@Clumsykitten we will probably just acknowledge the day quietly between the two of us, my husband is sitting the biggest and most important (and most difficult!) exams of his career 3 weeks after (so yes had our little Alex lived our timing would have been insanely bad!)
I have an appointment with my new endocrinologist on Monday and my obstetrician wants me to talk to her about gestational diabetes and how it can be managed in another pregnancy. He mentioned possibly treating me as diabetic from the start and not waiting for the screening test at 16 weeks. DH brought up the fact that the endocrinologist might put me on a diabetic diet now before we conceive... so I'm spending the weekend eating all the things that I wouldn't be allowed when pregnant and on a diabetic diet...!
5 days until my fertility specialist appointment!
Also can report the crazy bleeding has reduced to normal bleeding, thank goodness.
