Oh @Keyboard91 I am so sorry to hear it. I’ve been lurking away on these boards since my BFP at Christmas, but sadly I have had a miscarriage myself. I am actually booked for my D&C later today; I should be nearly 10 weeks but a scan confirmed anembryonic pregnancy (or blighted ovum). This is my second loss in 6 months; the idea of ever trying again right now is just too much to bear. So I truly know how you are feeling. It’s devastating and you must allow yourself to be sad; get some time off work if you can. I’ll keep everything crossed for you for a healthy pregnancy very soon xx

I took them day 3-7. Day 3 I took 100mg, day 4 - 150mg, day 5 - 150mg, day 6 - 150mg and day 7 - 200mg.
They only bad side effect I got was very emotional on the days I took them, I cried a lot! I don't know if that is a normal symptom I think most people don't get any negative reactions. I spoke to my doc about them before I took them and she said there are no dangers to taking them.
I also took evening primrose oil up until ovulation. Otherwise I did nothing differently. My opks were way stronger this month so I am sure it was the Soy! Good luck lovely! X

@Lozzlepop well the OH was certainly enjoying himself watching me ha. It was a good form of exercise but I ma tired today but going to go the gym tonight. Come on we can do this #FitFeb.

@MrsH497 enjoy a well deserved day off and hope the clearblue opk's have made things clearer for you this cycle.

Has anyone got any experience with checking the cervix? Is it worth it, sorry TMI but I had a feel around earlier and I think I am due to ovulate soon 🤷‍♀️

@FlapJackered cramps never stopped, temp fell below cover line. Looks like I'm done for this cycle as today is the last day of my LP.

@DayDreamer1707 good on you going to the gym tonight too, I am booked in for circuits tomorrow. Also I don't know the first thing about checking my cervix so can't help I'm afraid..... Haven't done an OPK yet today as was running late but guestimating I am due to OV tomorrow 🤞🏻

@TTC34 - I take Seven Seas trying for a baby tablets, am very tempted by the soy isoflavones though! Are there particular days you're meant to take them e.g. the week leading up to ovulation @FlapJackered?

@Keyboard91 - Really sorry this has happened to you, and can see why you would be more anxious now. We're all here for you xx

CD4 and AF is starting to ease off now so that's nice! BD time will commence again shortly Grin

Actually I'm not sure I want to mess around with the isoflavones, as my cycles have been regular... might just leave it and see how cycle 6 goes first!

@starkid - I took them on cd3 to cd7. When I asked the doctor about worrying that they would mess up my cycle, she said they wouldn't have any effect on my cycle. I had seen some people say things online about it bringing ovulation forward, but she seemed to think it was unlikely that Soy isoflavones would have caused that. In fact my ovulation date was a couple of days later (although that is not usual for me!)
I was getting desperate approaching a year of ttc though so you may not want to take the risk yet.

@FlapJackered - Thanks for the reply! Did you do those days for a particular reason, i.e certain days before ovulation? It is really tempting, if it isn't meant to mess your cycle up. Seeing you with your BFP after 11 months is really encouraging! Ahh, maybe I'll order some anyway and start when they arrive tomorrow, why the hell not haha. Might as well try something different, preseed isn't helping.

Well I had a feel of my cervix and it's high and soft which I think means i'm getting close to ovulation. I don't normally notice EWCM but I will try again tomorrow and keep going with the OPK. My apps are saying that this is my fertility week so we shall see

@DayDreamer1707 have you got the Glow app? Ive found it really useful from coming off the pill and not being quite sure when my FW was and when i was due to OV. You can upload pics of your OPKs and it alters your ovulation date which I have found really handy ☺️fingers crossed for you, get ready to BD. Which OPKs have you been using?

@Lozzlepop yes I have that and I use it for my OPKs too. I am just using internet cheapies, they have worked fine for me with my last 2 cycles, I wanted to see if I was actually ovulating and find some sort of pattern within my cycles. I was interested in the cervix thing to see if it linked up with my opk results ha. This is our first cycle really trying though since our MC and we are doing the SMEP. FX it is successful for us as it is sort of created for people in our situation of TTC after a MC but think it works either way for anyone.

@DayDreamer1707 yeah mine are just off Amazon and have been pretty good so far! I was the same i wasn't sure if I would ovulate straight away so wanted to check! Ive just been reading up on SMEP I'm so confused if I should BD tonight or just leave it until tomorrow or do both 😂🤷🏽‍♀️We've DTD Tues, Fri and yday..... I will have my fingers crossed for you this cycle 😄

Hi guys! Thought I would pop in this post hope you don't mind. I'm new to netmums And also new to 'trying to conceive' This is my first time Smile Sounds silly but finding things a little confusing lol! I'm on my 2 ww and due on on the 12th of feb. Been getting myself really stressed as I've been spotting for the past 4 days when I wipe ( sorry if tmi) Should I rule out this month? :( xx

@Lozzlepop I really hope so! Although i think it maybe a little bit too heavy for implantation bleeding? Also didn't know if it could be too soon for that as my fertile window was 26th-32st. I have bought some ovulation testing strips ready for next month though so I can track exactly when ovulation is. X

@Amy39 you never know you may have ovulated sooner than you think especially if you aren't tracking. Based on last month I should have ovulated on Saturday but have just got a positive OPK today, you aren't out until AF arrives, were you on contraception previously? X

@Lozzlepop Ok thank you. I came off contraception over a year Ago but we only started trying this month. Good luck to you. If my AF comes this month I'll have to get my head around using the ovulation testing strips. Is it normal to find this all so confusing lol. X
