@Lozzlepop mine don't usually get steadier darker or anything, fluctuate/show barely anything, then suddenly will be positive, then a couple of hours later nothing again

@BabySquid oh don't I love a chocolate Croissant 😍. I am hoping to start our SMEP tomorrow. Wrote the plan down in my notes and shared it with the OH so he knew what was happening, he's even chuffed with himself that he now knows the abbreviations.

@Lozzlepop keep testing it will get darker. I first panicked when started using them and I was getting nothing or only faint lines. Then bang, I got my positive, I was so excited.

Ladies do you have any experience with +OPK followed by creamy Cm?

Surely the Cm is hostile and non fertile so no swimmers will survive?

Can anyone see anything? Am 11 DPO...

@Jessikka I haven't sorry, but I know sometimes you can get a positive OPK after you've ovulated rather than before. Or the other explanation could be you've had the surge but might not ovulate this time round - I'd keep doing OPKs in case you have another surge. Also I didn't have EWCM for a few cycles!! X

@Kittyhop I see it!! It's very very faint though and I can't see any colour so not sure if it's possibly an Evap? X

@Lozzlepop I always have two lines on my opk with varying darkness, and it does start visibly progressing when nearing ovulation.

@thumper59 they say your periods are still within the norm when you get at least two tablespoons of blood throughout your period.

@cupcakesandglitter I tried reading, it basically describes some tricky stellar-like alignment of hormones that may or may not happen depending on the moon phase, zodiac predictions, and whether or not polar bears had a good breeding season.

Yeh will carry on taking them as don't think I ovulated as haven't had a temp rise.

New to temping but not finding it too annoying atm!

@Kittyhop I am pretty rubbish at trying to see lines but you are not out yet.

@Jessikka I sometimes wonder if I ever have EWCM but I have read that drinking water helps with this as its about 90-95% water. Not sure if that will help. I am pretty sure you still have a chance with creamy CM it's only there to aid the sperm. Plus a lot of people actually check their cervix for EWCM and never get it when they wipe etc x

@DayDreamer1707 you can always check for ewcm by... going in and feeling around the tip your cervix. 😂 But I definitely recommend drinking extra liquids. I get dehydrated around ovulation so I started drinking more whether I'm thirsty or not. They say you'll have more and better quality ewcm if you're properly hydrated.

@KatBeCool very clear 😂😂😂 tbh I think everything I've read to do with TTC has ten billion explanations and yet no single one explains it at all 😂🤷🏻‍♀️

@Lozzlepop don't worry about not being able to see it - when you get a positive you won't have to squint at all 😂

@cupcakesandglitter OMG I thought you was going to say 'false alarm, she tastes her AF'. I know TTC can make us all do weird and odd things but tasting your CM has to be too far right!! Sorry you think AF is here but least you will be able to start a fresh, I know how frustrated you have been this cycle.

@KatBeCool I am absolutely shocking at drinking water. I have started drinking decaff which can be a part of my water intake and I have made a deal with the OH to drink this big sports bottle of water when I am at work. Hopefully I will see a difference x

@cupcakesandglitter it's so boring! And everyone has babies. I'll have another niece or nephew this year too. I feel like everyone I know who's having a baby is so unprepared or happened at a 'bad' time they need more money, a bigger house etc. We are completely ready and waiting and what do you know AF is in town 🙄

I shouldn't be bitter but I am a little 😂 not in real life just on here. 'Oh but I can't do that I'll have a baby this year'. Argh well so will I hopefully but I still need to do my bloody job! And everyone else's apparently 🙄.

@thumper59 totally with you there, period week is very boring!! Mine finally looks like it's gone now though, I'm so glad of, after starting with it last Wednesday DH and I haven't DTD since last Tuesday, which for us... is a lifetime haha
We have a long weekend tho, both have tomorrow and Monday off, so I feel a dirty weekend before we get into the swing of SMEPing. Still got the ovary ache and the boob ache occasionally though so if ive still got that by Monday I'm going to test.

@thumper59 tell me about it. Since my CP I've not wanted to see my nephew - I absolutely adore him but it's so hard seeing him and happy with my PIL, it's so upsetting for me. Of course in real life I'm delighted for people, but on here I'm glad I can be honest - every time I see a baby I wonder why it isn't happening for me yet 😩

@cupcakesandglitter You can see the difference when you look at it, the weirdo just like the idea of preforming oral on herself 😂. But hey, I suppose each to there own.

@thumper59 I totally agree, give me something to google and question. This is boring. I just told the OH that the BD'ing begins tomorrow and god love him, he said, 'I have just been checking the dates on our plan and what BD meant 😍.'
