@Jessikka yes that is much darker than mine today and I am due to OV on Saturday, get DTD ;)

@thumper59 @DayDreamer1707 @cupcakesandglitter you are not alone I am always hungry or snacking, I actually hold off from having breakfast until 10am otherwise I would need to have 2 breakfasts lol

So ladies I went to the gym at lunch, feel so good for it now, although sure i will be sore tomorrow lol! Off out for a nice dinner tomorrow night then will be making DP head home early to BD 😂 First couple of days using OPKs and finding it pretty good, using my GLOW app where you can save your results, the camera actually detects the lines on your OPK and selects the right result level for you so its super easy ☺️

DayDreamer1707 · 30/01/2019 16:22

@Jessikka get some baby dancing done and you will be well covered.

@starkid well I started looking at it again after reading that article again. Before my MC I think it looks like it was around 12 but I didn't monitor everything perfectly then. Ive had one be 13 days which was the month of the MC, then it was 15 days and one be 10 days. These cycles I was spotting a lot too so wouldn't believe any of them. This month I have 13 days but if I take of the 4 days of spotting beforehand it would be 9 days. So honestly I don't actually have a flipping clue hahaha.

starkid · 30/01/2019 16:25

@KatBeCool - I didn't get my results, I just called and got told the tests came back normal and no further action required. Do you think I should request to have them printed to read?

@DayDreamer1707 - gosh how confusing for you!

KatBeCool · 30/01/2019 16:46

@starkid absolutely request to have them printed. My OB told me my results were normal too, my TSH was 4.56, it's within the norm but way too high for TTC. My gp did a test too and it was 4.81, and that's too high. She said I needed to be below 2 to conceive. And if there are any results that are on the higher end of normal, I'd want to know.

DayDreamer1707 · 30/01/2019 16:51

@starkid yes it used to make me really upset spotting mid cycle but I knew it was because of the MC. Suppose that's what made it more upsetting. This cycle I haven't had any mid cycle spotting just had some before my AF which I think I have always had, think we are just more aware of our bodies when we are TTC. On the plus side I know I can get pregnant and the midwife said there was no problems with us, we were just unfortunate. This cycle we are going to really try for the first time as things have settled down a lot. If you think seeing it in black and white will help ease your mind more then you are more than entitled to see the information.

starkid · 30/01/2019 17:00

@KatBeCool @DayDreamer1707 - OK I've requested them, so once I (hopefully) get them tomorrow we can have a nose!

I hope this cycle goes better for you DayDreamer xx

TrashKitten10 · 30/01/2019 19:16

@MrsMcNtobe Gutted your squinter last night wasn't there this morning! 😩

@AnnaMC214 Congrats! Lovely clear line ☺️

@FlapJackered So glad the patron saint of lost things heard your prayers! I chuckled about wanting to spend your money on TTC kit. The things we treat ourselves to hey.

MrsMcNtobe · 30/01/2019 19:19

@TrashKitten10 me too! Been telling myself last 2 or 3 days that this is definitely the month and I’m definitely pregnant and I told other half this morning and as soon as I said it out loud I was like WTF why am I so stupid I have no clue if I’m pregnant or not 😂😂😂

BostonFern · 30/01/2019 21:09

@MrsMcNtobe still time to get a BFP this month, 🤞for you
@FlapJackered great news that they found your necklace!
CD5 here, a little bit of spotting and still got a headache. Sensitivity to pain seems to have reduced today though, it was quite high the other day.

FlapJackered · 30/01/2019 22:25

@BostonFern I am so relieved! Good old St Anthony! 😂

@TrashKitten10 I dread to think how much I have spent on ttc paraphernalia in the last year 🙈

@starkid I am definitely with @KatBeCool re finding out the exact results. My TSH was 4.99 when they first checked and they wouldn't prescribe me meds - it took 3 appointments and a lot of convincing. Luckily (kind of) I had another blood test and it had risen to 7 so they took it more seriously then. Hopefully it will be fine for you but it's good to know. I get all my blood tests printed now for that reason.

@Lozzlepop good work on the gym! As soon as I am on to the next cycle I am going to hit the gym more. #fitnessfebruary 😂🏋🏼‍♀️🏊‍♀️

@KatBeCool 😬 all these tests are good at getting us ready to be poked and prodded when we do finally get pregnant. I used to hate blood tests now I barely flinch!
Did they put you on antibiotics after the hsg? I heard some people say they do, but I don't want to be haunted by the dancing pills from the advert 😂

@cupcakesandglitter I wish it was an implantation dip! But as I have had 8 'implantation dips' in the last year and no bfp ...yep I am 80% sure I am definitely pregnant 😂😂😂

cupcakesandglitter · 30/01/2019 22:28

@lozzlepop I'm glad its not just me lol! x

@flapjackered oh okay Grin lets see, we don't have long left to wait!! xx

OP posts:
starkid · 30/01/2019 23:14

@FlapJackered - I honestly wouldn't even know what I was looking for in the results, so will just have to read them and pick some things out to tell you lot to analyse for me!

KatBeCool · 30/01/2019 23:20

@FlapJackered no antibiotics for me. I think they give you antibiotics if you have a history of infections, like PID.

@cupcakesandglitter I'm starting to think that implantation dip is a myth. There's no logical explanation of what could cause that. No known hormones spike or drop when the implantation happens other than hcg, which doesn't cause a dip. A dip during 2-4dpo is explained.

FlapJackered · 31/01/2019 07:25

So 10dpo and very light pink cm this morning when I wiped. This has never happened to me before as normally I go straight into full flow AF on 12-14dpo. Trying not to get too excited (and failing a bit) as it could just be the effect of the Isoflavones I took. I also feel crampy like I am going to come on so I think I am probably just coming on early and my body is being an arsehole as usual.

starkid · 31/01/2019 07:27

I caved and did a clearblue digital test this morning which very cruelly stated 'not pregnant' on the front :( due today, but I don't have any cramps or spotting yet. Ah well, wait and see I guess (knew I should've waited till the weekend 😫)

thumper59 · 31/01/2019 07:53

Morning guys! Need to have a read and a catch up on here as I've not been on since early yesterday.

Just a quickie, my period appears to be going. It's been a lot lighter then when on the pill(?) but still been enough on a pad and a lot when I wipe on Monday-Tuesday and yesterday it's tailed off today it's barely there. Is this okay? It's been like a 'proper' period but usually it's enough to change my pad a lot of times a day!! I always remember them being heavy..is it normal to have a lighter one off the pill or has my body just changed?

cupcakesandglitter · 31/01/2019 08:04

@KatBeCool I'll see what I can find, I'm sure I've read something about why temp can drop for it x

@FlapJackered fx for you, hopefully it's IB? Xx

@starkid you're not out yet if AF isn't here, I've heard those CB ones aren't very sensitive at all - try a FRER? Xx

@thumper59 totally normal, I've had really bad heavy/painful periods since I started - after the implant they were soooo light. Took a few months but I'm pretty much back to normal x

OP posts:
FlapJackered · 31/01/2019 08:17

@thumper59 completely normal. I talked to my doctor when I came off the pill as mine were super light and she said it can take up to 6 months to build up your lining. And it doesn't mean you can't get pregnant.

@cupcakesandglitter 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻 not holding out much hope now though after googling IB it is not very common so it's much more likely to be AF.
How are you feeling today?

@starkid acht I am sorry for the bfn but as you know it's probably too early anyway 🤞🏻

cupcakesandglitter · 31/01/2019 08:22

@FlapJackered don't lose hope yet!!! I know google says that, but when I had my CP I was frantically googling and I think that IB is way more common than 20%, and also can be super heavy with clots too - that's what I've read anyway 😂 I'm okay thanks, I've just gone to the loo and had a massive glob of creamy CM - not too sure how to differentiate between creamy/sticky? I've had a lot of it the past couple of days but I don't think it's anything significant. Other than hank marvin I feel completely normal 😂 xx

OP posts:
thumper59 · 31/01/2019 08:23

@cupcakesandglitter @FlapJackered thanks guys! So weird. It's been a proper period so I knew it was a 'real' one because it was still heavy enough and not spotting but compared to when I was on the pill my bleed used to be way heavier. I shouldn't complain really 🤣

DayDreamer1707 · 31/01/2019 08:29

@thumper59 I would say that it's totally normal and nothing to worry about.

@starkid I have also heard that clear blue digital's aren't as sensitive so just wait to see what the weekend brings.

@Lozzlepop I did netball last night so trying my best to stick to this healthier lifestyle. Sure I should of lost like a stone by now 😆

@@FlapJackered it could be implantation, easier said than done but try and relax and stay away from the tests ha.

@BabySquid how are you getting on? I am on CD5 only a day behind BostonFern. Getting ready for the FW as it begins in a couple of days for me x

starkid · 31/01/2019 08:44

Thanks girls, yeah I'll wait, I just woke up early this morning and couldn't help myself. I had a look in my drawer and it seems I've picked up a right assortment of tests! So I've got:
First Response Early Resultsx2
Clearblue with weeks indicatorx2
Asda one step x4
Clearblue digital early detection (what I used this morning) x5ish
One step internet cheapies x5ish

What an array! Grin

BabySquid · 31/01/2019 08:50

@DayDreamer1707 I'm ok thanks. Still having to wear a liner tho as I still have very light, brown spotting. That's a week and a day now!
Went to boxing last night and I also feel like I sweat so much I should have also lost a stone now too!! (However I couldn't resist the pastry breakfast!) 🙈

Lozzlepop · 31/01/2019 09:32

Ladies I am new to the OPKs game, would there be no line at all if you weren’t due to OV or will you always get a faint line? According to apps I’m due to OV on Saturday but the line doesn’t seem to be getting any darker, any advice welcome ☺️

TTC FIRST BABY - Thread 12! [edited by MNHQ at OP's request]
cupcakesandglitter · 31/01/2019 09:50

Omg @starkid 😂😂😂😂😂 at least you've got plenty for backup! X

@BabySquid pastry 🤤

@Lozzlepop I wouldn't go by the apps yet, as they take a few cycles to pick up signs etc - most of them will just put somewhere in the middle of the cycle which isn't always right. Sometimes I get a faint line throughout the month, or it might be totally clear.. also not everyone's OPKs get darker towards ov, you might just have one super positive one and then nothing x
