anyone due to be ovulating week starting 21st Jan?

Starting to gear up & hoping this will be a positive month! Anyone else in same cycle week as me?

For those of you that conceived did you do anything different this month? How often did you dtd?

Um we dtd every other day from the week before I expected ovulation. Then the day of +ve opk and the day after.

I think the main difference for me was this is my first full cycle of no breastfeeding. I also took folic acid everyday and drank a glass of milk as I read that it can encourage ovulation! But nothing that major tbh.

@Explorers10 I dtd every day for 9 days! As I didn't ovulate when I thought I was going to so I just made sure we had some fun every day!

Also checking your cervix can give you a good indication on what's happening. It should be closed but still quite low down. Like firm pursed lips.

And like @KatnissKringle said this Is my first full cycle of not breastfeeding. Even if my cycles have come back but I'm still feeding my body just doesn't get pregnant. As this Is the second time I've got pregnant immediately after stopping feeding!

Do you have many symptoms. Are you definitely going to hold out until Monday?! X

Thanks for your replies. Interesting to say you stop breastfeeding. I’m not breastfeeding. My girl is 2 & half. I’ve just turned 34 so wonder if my age is a factor. Not got much symptoms apart from no show of AF yet plus sore nipples. Going to wait until Monday to test.

This is my 3rd month of trying, I know still early days. My first happened on 1st month of trying.

Ahh I'm such a poas addict. I only have 1 test left and I'm saving it for tomorrow. As I took a digital yesterday I'm hoping tomorrow will show a good line!

But I just needed to poas so I used a opk and it came back raging positive. Which Is a great sign seeing as I've already got my BFP! But just shoes I have no self control what so ever when it comes down to this 😂.

I've bought 4 more clear blue tests that come with my shopping delivery on Monday. Gonna be hard to not pee on them all at once 😂😂. X

@HMIB I know what you mean! I did my final frer this morn - absolutely no need as I had my digital yday but there is something so satisfying about seeing that test line pop up after 7 months of infuriating BFNs! Also I have a lovely row of them now to show the progression of the line!! I will stop now although do have one digital test left....!!!!

Took my last test today. (Until more arrive tomorrow 😂). This is a cheap Sainsbury's one. And my advice don't get them as they are rubbish. But the line Is definitely darker from 2 days ago! Had to do it in b&w as it seems hard to take good photos of blue dye tests! And AF Is either meant to be here today or tomorrow so I'm still a nervous wreck 😬. X

Ahahaha @HMIB I'm the same! I have a couple strip tests left over and found most of them really crap! Especially the one step ones they're showing very feint lines still. Clear blue & FRER I took yesterday and much darker than the first tests. I'm curious about the OPK strips now lol never thought to try it at this stage! 😂

I got a digital left I'm saving for AF due date which is tomorrow, then after that I'm outta tests 😅

Thanks to everyone who joined me on the thread, made me feel not so alone in going through this as it is not something you can just bring up in a day to day conversation with someone in person

Erm... Don't know if you remember me but I got negative tests and then AF last week. so AF was a bit weird (lasted 7 days but only 1-2 were heavy bleeding and the rest was light), and my temps hadn't really dropped yet, so I decided to POAS just for peace of mind, and you can see the result below!

I'm 20dpo today. Very very unexpected given the amount of bleeding that I had. And I've had quite a few beers and a lot of ibuprofen in the last few days 🙈

Trying to not be too positive because obviously with that amount of bleeding and a faint line at 20dpo, it doesn't bode particularly well, but it's lovely to see a second line nonetheless.

@mussie oh wow that must have been confusing/ a shock. Have you thought about getting a clear blue which says how many weeks you are. As do you think you ovulated later than what you thought. As it could have been implantation bleeding?? Xx

@HMIB @Explorers10 yes so confusing. I think I'll do the digital one tomorrow morning. Of course it won't actually help all that much to know rough hCG levels - it's more important to know whether they are going up or down! So was going to test again on Tuesday, but my in laws will be visiting, so will wait til they leave and do another FRER/digital on Thursday morning. I don't think I'll see the GP - I know they won't be able to do anything, and the policy at the EPU is pretty much to not do anything until 6+ weeks, so I'll just be hanging fire. By LMP I'll be 6 weeks tomorrow, so if I need them later in the week I'll give them a ring. They don't need to know that I ovulated day 21 so I'll actually only be 5 weeks tomorrow 😏

I think that’s a sensible suggestion from HMIB checking on a digital as at least then it’s clear!

@WildFlower2019 Confirmed on digital this morning. I'm around 21dpo, so I can only imagine that I implanted really late or something? I did get a BFN at 12dpo so maybe implanted after that. Going to test again next week to see if it is going up or not. Not had any more bleeding so I suppose I am PUPO!
