@bettythecat, wooo!! See, The Damp was a sign for us both!! I'm so happy you got your bfp 😀 When you're ready, feel free to join us the 'catching up with those from the ttc thread' on the pregnancy board! Sorry I'm rubbish, don't know to link it while on my phone!!

Just an update, I called dr today, no need to go in. They told me to call Sure Start; I have my first apt with midwife on 4th feb. Apparently it might be a bit early for when I'm meant to go, but the next slot isn't for 2 weeks after, so they're slotting me in.

Oh and @flapjackered, I thought I came out with some stuff, but 'borrowing his equipment and giving it back after fw' is definitely a winner!! Xx

We Dtd!!!!! Poor DH's willy! I said to him afterwards 'let's hope my temperature goes up tomorrow morning!' And he replied 'if not you are just going to have to cut off one of my balls and squeeze out the last drops' 😂😂😂

@KatBeCool 😂😂 that's hilarious!! I don't think he wants to have sex again for a while! I hope it still works after this stint!

Lovely DP came in from work in a very flirty and lovely mood. I'm glad he's as on board as me! Although I think it's a bit late in the month to make much difference god loves a trier doesn't he! I just want to test now 😫😫

We’re doing SMEP and my DH is nearly broken... my app said my FW began on CD7 so I’ve been on his case since then, but I only ovulated yesterday (CD20). The poor lad looks like he’d rather do the washing up for a year than one more BD... I’m surprised they haven’t set up a support group!!

@flapjackered, you go girl, ride that train!! Good on your chap too!! Hope he's not too sore xx I'm feeling ok, no massive symptoms yet, just The Damp! Knowing I'm seeing a midwife in two weeks has made it feel more real. Just hoping all goes ok xxx

@FivexFive how early did you start feeling 'damp'? (Feels like the weirdest question I've ever asked anyone 😂)

Thanks for all the congratulations and for making me laugh!! I don't want to leave this thread you guys are all too hilarious. My DH kept on saying he needed to make a "delivery" at the "warehouse" and giving me a creepy smirk. Charming!

@FivexFive yes I know how funny about The Damp!! I've since seen that it is an actual symptom- apparently normally it dries up if af is on the way. I'm feeling quite dizzy quite a lot of the time too- that's my other major symptom and my boobs are starting to hurt. Was hoping I might be one of the lucky ones and not have too many symptoms but then again it's quite nice to have them.

I actually went to the doctor today- was WFH and am away with work next week so thought I might as well go in. They just weighed me, took my blood pressure and asked me a few questions then sent me away with a pot to piss in to drop off tomorrow. Apparently they send the sample to the hospital who will then contact me for my first midwife appointment.

Hasn't quite sunk in yet.

@FlapJackered oh dear! I don't think your DH is joking. If you don't cut off his balls, they'll probably turn into prunes anyway and fall off. I'm surprised you two don't have sores 😂

Aww @FivexFive that'll soon pass. Glad you don't have to wait another 2 weeks. Exciting times.

I still keep wondering if I'm imagining little niggles and twinges. Got some time off work next week so hopefully that'll take my mind of symptom spotting.

@thumper59, there are no weird questions anymore!! I had it most of the week leading up to when af would have been due week and it's still feels damp now! Apparently sometimes it lasts ages, but it's annoying because I keep thinking I'll go to the loo and it will be blood or something?! Am trying to relax a bit more now...

@bettythecat, my One boob is sore and a bit bigger, hoping number 2 will catch up when it's ready 🙂

I have no symptoms at all, and am 9dpo. Going batshit crazy. Like how many times do I need to look at my temperature chart during the day? It doesn't change!

Haha, all mental I think my DH is secretly glad my fertile week is over so I'm not demanding sex from him whenever it suits me for a while!

@thumper59 I know how you feel I want to test too but I also don't want to be disappointed. I keep thinking I will sneak and do one this morning but my OH is always up getting ready for work at the same time as me. I will just try my best and wait for AF on Saturday.

You lot are actually making my lady parts feel sore with all this talk of too much sex 😂😂😂 I keep warning my OH that he's got less than 2 weeks to rest up until my next FW and then the the pants come off when I say!!! He seems excited for the moment...god love him 😋

@DayDreamer1707 I tested this morning, 7 DPO I think and 6 days pre AF. Oh and I still was disappointed when it was negative 🙄😂. I don't think it's going to happen for us this month anyway but I will test again Friday then wait patiently for AF

@thumper59 I wouldn't say you are out!! I did loads of research yesterday and most people don't get a positive or accurate result till 12DPO, I would be due on the day after so might as well hold out for AF.

@DayDreamer1707 I hope not, I just don't feel any different so I don't think it's our month 😕. AF is due Sunday/Monday for me so I'll have to just hold out

Oh I also saw the perfect prep machines are on sale in Asda for £60! Considered picking one up then realised just how crazy that would make me look. 😂😂😂
