@jessikka.. yes its so nice to have people at the same stage as you to chat with! None of my friends know we are ttc so its lovely to have someone to chat too! And i love seeing the success stories on here! Ive had a couple of beers tonight and now feeling guilty incase there is a small chance ive not had AF because im pregnant! Xxx

Well I'm out. AF has arrived this morning, cruelly as I sat down on the loo to do an HPT. Absolutely gutted 😢 onto cycle 9 I guess.

I'm sorry about af @MrsAW2018. I think I'll be right behind you. Mine is due beginning of this week and I think I'm starting to feel the usual feelings. Maybe a nice cup of coffee or glass of wine tonight? That's certainly what I'll be doing as soon as I'm sure. Who knows maybe the next cycle will be the one for both of us xx

@bettythecat, I'm so sorry girl, I cracked this morning after loads of The Damp... af was due today/tomorrow...

@MrsAW2018 sorry to hear AF has arrived. Mines due tomorrow and I'm pretty sure she will be visiting. Hope you can enjoy a large glass of wine tonight and that you've time to relax and be kind to yourself today.

@Jessika my first month of BC was hell on earth...so I hear you there.

@cupcakesandglitter you crack me up with your DTD tales. What is the rationale around you finishing after OH if I may ask?

@Katbecool that's great news! Procedure doesn't sound very fun though. Good to know about thyroid.

@Cinderella812 it's difficult because you don't want to go on about it but getting pregnant is way more challenging than I ever realised so that window is critical! I'm very lucky, my OH asks about my fertile window once my AF has finished and then refuses DTD for 2 days before the window starts to 'brew his best' apparently! He's then like clockwork every other day or every day if I've had EWCM and want to be sure. I think I get more offended about it being too clinical than him!

This is our first month trying and with my temps being all over the place, no clear ovulation and BDing being irregular at best, I don't think we have any chance. Despite this, I'm symptom spotting like mad. My boobs are so sore and I spotted a tiny bit of pink blood on wiping yesterday. I see how this drives people mad I had pledged not to get obsessed with it all but I can feel even from our first half hearted month trying I'm going to turn into a full blown TTC obsessive

@Cinderella812 I was upfront with my DH, I just told him that every second day from AF finishing til after I was sure I’d ovulated was going to be Sex Day

Thanks ladies! I think I'm about 12/13dpo? We didn't use opks this cycle, but we dtd every other day for about 10 days around the fw. Apart from The Damp, no symptoms to speak of, I honestly thought I was just hoping... but the line came up strong straight away this morning! I was in shock for a little bit!! Dh is so excited 🙂

I'll call the dr Mon to double check what happens now. I'll also tell my one manager, just so she's aware. Would you guys mind if I hang around a while?? Xx

DH and I currently TTC baby number 1....been TTC informally for 2 years now (ie no contraception but if it happens it happens) however after marrying last year we are actively talking about trying....it had kind of been the elephant in the room before with the fact we have never managed to conceive.

Been feeling a bit 🤢 for a few days and almost ripped my bosses head off the other day when she piled more work on me (most unusual I’m normally very calm and relaxed at work even though my role is always highly pressured and includes a lot of hours) and so thought you know what i don’t feel right I’m gonna test....u never know....but with absolute minimal expectation...after all surely it can’t actaully happen after 2 years....I’ve resigned myself to never being a biological mother and had been researching adoption.

Not sure what to make of it now because I think there might be a positive result here....but then I don’t know if I’m imagining it....not sure how to upload pics....if someone could help I can upload the pic and would love some opinions on the results.

I had slight bleeding yesterday and then over the course of 6 hours or so not enough to fill even a quarter of a tampon 😑

Now today literally nothing. Though it's early. So I guess I'm spotting and so am not on CD2 after all 😂

I'm still in cycle 1 as this can't be a period surely. Ugh. Annoying!

@Jessikka Could it be implantation bleeding? Have you tested?

I’m out AF has cruelly arrived 30minutes after I decided to optimistically take a IC test this morning! Why does that seem to happen .
I’m not overly surprised in all honesty as this was only our first month of properly trying and I think our timing was a bit off this month so not feeling too disheartened. On to next month!

@Jessikka what DPO are you? Quarter of a tampon certainly doesn't qualify as a period.

My last clearblue opk still said high fertility this morning, so have to rely on the cheapies to work out when my positive is! Cd18, I'm usually between cd16-19 so presumably will get the positive later today or tomorrow. Need to know when really so my hormone blood test is done on the right day next week!

@TrashKitten10 @KatBeCool I doubt it's IB as I'm somewhere between 15dpo and 17dpo.

I had a nearly positive OPK on Dec 31st and had the EWCM and the high soft open cervix for a few days but didn't temp (I'm new and didn't even know that was a thing) so it's too late for IB now; it's probably down to first month off the pill and so not getting my hopes up! x

@Babytrain89 supposedly after an orgasm the waves sort of 'push' sperm up to where they need to be I think - I usually finish just before DH, but if I don't then I make sure I finish after!! CrossFit did it the month she got her BFP, can't hurt I suppose ;) x

@Jessikka hopefully it isn't the same for you, but after contraceptive my body was weird!! I actually didn't have any red blood for months, and it took six/seven months for my body to settle again. I'd log everything that's happening just so you know either way xx

@thumper59 it’s ok, I’m actually glad that AF came as I’ve read stories of people that took ages for their body to go back to normal after being on Cerazette so I feel it’s a mild victory and can aim to try properly next month ☺️ How are you feeling today? It deffo would be good if we could fast forward so we don’t have the TWW 😂

@Jessikka it’s actually not been as bad as I thought it would be, was off just under 3 weeks until AF showed and had some cramping, nausea and bloating but nothing out of the ordinary ☺️ Are you feeling better this month?

@Jessikka You can still temp now, temps would still be telling whether it's AF or something else. Did you try a test? Light bleeding or spotting isn't uncommon.

@DogMum24 if the line is faint enough for you to doubt if it's there, a digital won't pick it up yet because they aren't as sensitive - get a FRER xx

@Lozzlepop yeah at least you know where you are now for the next cycle! And your body is all in working order! I'm good Thankyou are you? Today is long because DP is out and I'm on my own with nothing to do so far, so my mind isn't busy 😂 hoping next week at work will fly again! I keep feeling bit of cramping, and a little light headed but again reckon this is from coming off the pill rather then anything else! We are out tonight so I don't really know what to do about drinking because if I don't it'll raise questions 😫 might just have one and drink it very slowly!

So lovely to see more BFPs on here! Hoping it will be a lucky thread for us all in the coming months 💕💕
