@KittieKath not too sure when I'll test. Trying to be good and hold out as long as possible. I'm about 8dpo so slowly getting there. Not really got symptoms to be fair. May not drink much at the wedding on Saturday just to be safe x

Hey ladies, needing to have a word myself as I'm getting TTC crazy and we're only cycle 2. How can it be so easy to get overwhelmed by it all even when you tell yourself you won't?

Me and DP BD this morning as promised (we missed last night when I had static smiley) however he didn't finish...sorry tmi. I felt really guilty for feeling sad afterwards. I didn't show it as i don't want to put pressure on him or the relationship but i just thought well i can't bring it up to try again tonight or he'll think I'm a bd maniac. Lol so i feel like this months chance is over now and not sure if we've done enough.

We BD Sun and Tues before my Static yesterday so keeping my fingers crossed that that's enough. If not we move on to Cycle 3. In a way not doing OPKs and checking CM was nice as i didn't know when to time it so could just enjoy it.

Sorry for having a wobble i need to be more relaxed next month xxx

Hi all! Congrats to all those who’ve had a BFP! You must be over the moon!

I’ve a quick question. I got a positive OPK on Sunday. Thermal shift confirmed Sunday ovulation. This was slightly earlier than predicted, my app had predicted sometime between Monday and Thursday.

That worked well because my husband flew to Asia on work on Tuesday so we managed to get some BD in over the weekend. I was really happy because I thought this cycle would be a right off - husband not home until Sunday.

But I got EWCM yesterday...does that mean I actually ovulated later and my window wasn’t around the weekend? I’m a little bummed out now, I can’t find any info online about EWCM after ovulation. I’m dry now but...

Sigh 😔

Hmmm... that is confusing. I understand the temp shift to be the best indication of ovulation. EWCM comes and goes, though usually in the run up to ovulation. So I would trust temperature first and foremost.

Also, sperm lives for 4+ days, so if you has a 'busy' weekend and ovulated today, you are still in with a chance!

What are your temps like today?

I have been struggling to work it out too... I tried OPKs for first time this month but never got a positive. So confusing! Just DTD whenever, I say. Poor OH was knackered after it all... ha!

Has anyone here experienced a poking sensation in lower abdomen area. yes I'm symptom spotting. AF due Sunday!

@KittieKath we had a very busy weekend! First time that we hit the three most fertile days, so I was feeling like I’d finally got this timing stuff down 😂 my temperature is still above the cover line.

I know they say speed CAN live up to five days, but do they often? It just feels impossible at the moment.

@Lozzlepop Maybe a bit eager! I know some people show early but not everyone.. it's not Over until the fat lady sings! ( or Aunt Flo herself turns up! Fingers crossed she won't for you!)

The TWW is such an agonising wait... aaaaarrrrrgggggghhhhhh.....

@kittiekath it's terrible isn't it! It drags on for what seems like a year!!

I think for me it's just usual pre AF symptoms but i was so optimistic this cycle that I'm still hoping it isn't!

@KittieKath unfortunately it's far too late for implantation! It would be CD26 today, but I've logged this as CD1 of cycle 7! I'm now starting to worry a bit if I'm honest... 😔

@DayDreamer1707 thanks for replying - I’m going to try hold off til Sunday before testing. It lasted literally 36 hours which seems really short if it was AF, which should have started yesterday. Why oh why are our bodies so confusing!

@PinkFizz19 That's must be frustrating. It is so difficult to get the balance right between hitting the right time and not losing the spontaneity and romance isn't it. It's happened to me a few times that we have missed the right time because DH wasn't into it. sperm can live for a while so don't count yourself out. X

@DuchessofPemberley I get ewcm now and then for the week after I ov. I don't think it is the best indicator of ovulation on its own. I am sure you have caught it!

@pinkfizz19, I think the first couple of cycles are harder than you expect because A we're told growing up how careful we need to be/how 'easy' it is to get pregnant, so it can be a shock when it doesn't just happen! And B, it's the excitement of having made the decision!! Maybe try to alternate cycles? Like have one doing opks etc then the next not bothering and just bd'ing when you feel like it? Sending positive vibes your way xxx

Sounds like a few of might be testing at the weekend? I'm due around Sunday. Feeling quite positive as we had many a bd session this cycle, although didn't use opks. Af will probably arrive bang on time... I have had a weird symptom though and sorry this is totally tmi.... All day I've felt very, ahem, 'damp' (?) in the 'down there' region?? Kept checking to see if it was af arriving, but nope. Just like a light, watery cm?? Anyone else had this?! Xxx

Anyway, happy almost Friday and sorry for the essay!! X

@FivexFive I swear I have had the exact same thing today and am also due on Sunday!! Let's hope it's an early pregnancy symptom no one has ever heard of and not a sign of af arriving 😂

I took a test today just in case I ov'd early ( yeah right 😂) and managed to look at it so much I swear I imagined a very faint line 🙃

Assured myself I was being a stupid twonk and now I'm just gonna painfully wait for the end of the month. Anyone else going absolutely bat shit crazy? Or am I on my own. I think I top today's 'extremely hopeful' chart 😂😂

I am currently CD18 5DPO and I am having some form of twinge in my lower right which has been on and off all day. Why do our bodies do this. I'm sure it's nothing but god I wish it was something x

@FlapJackered glad you've got your flashing smiley!! My OPKs are lighter again 😩 only had sex once this week too, don't think this is my month! X

@bettythecat, I'm working from home tomorrow so will be sooo tempted to poas!! Determined to hold out until at least the end of the weekend though, unless af arrives of course. What are your thoughts?? It's nice to have a cycle twin 😀

@FivexFive we've got a friend staying this weekend so don't really want to POAS with him in the house as I will most likely cry either way which wouldn't be ideal 😂 have said to DH that we can do one together on Monday morning if af hasn't arrived when our friend has gone to work. I'm WFH Monday and DH says he will too. Soooo haven't thought about it at all- NOT!! 🤦‍♀️

Do you think you will be able to hold out until the weekend?? Any other "symptoms"? I keep thinking I'm getting very vague cramping but may be imagining that.
