@bettythecat, ha ha loving the forward thinking!! At least with a friend staying, should give you a distraction? I'm determined to wait until Mon (unless af arrives, obviously) so I'll at least be Late!

I've had a few twinges and 1 sore boob, but that could be anything really! Shall we make a poas pact, for Mon?! X

MrsH497 · 17/01/2019 20:34

When do I poas?! I'm 9dpo and cramping tonight that with a bit emotional is literally the only symptom I've had.
Do I drink at the wedding at the weekend?!
X

PinkFizz19 · 17/01/2019 20:42

@Babytrain89 Ohhh can we be cycle buddies then and help each other through the madness?! Smile

@FlapJackered Aww thank you so much..i'm keeping my fingers crossed that there was some swimmers still hanging around from Tuesday when the egg appeared. Lol. Glad you've got your flashing smiley...not told til O day now.

@FivexFive Yes definately agree with you there. Just one missed pill in the past and I'd be so worried. Drs warn you about the 12 hours to take it...I doubt that would worry me very much now. Lol. Thanks for your support...i like your idea of alternating. At least i have an idea now of what CD I Ov if I don't use the OPKs.

Good luck to everyone testing this weekend xxx

cupcakesandglitter · 17/01/2019 20:49

@MrsH497 I'd hold out as long as you can for testing - maybe Sunday? But if you'd feel guilty if you got your BFP after drinking maybe don't drink and fake an illness? Or have a small one? Xx

FlapJackered · 17/01/2019 20:51

@cupcakesandglitter oh nooo I thought you were on the way there! My IC Opks are still light despite the flashing CB so hopefully that means we are both going to ov soon! 🤞🏻Get Dtd it's not too late!

Babytrain89 · 17/01/2019 20:54

@pinkfizz19 absolutely! I am a bit ahead of you as my AF is due Sunday, but happy to be number of cycle buddies! It really is awful. I seem to get so much worse a couple of days before AF is due, think that's when it becomes really real for me.

Still poking pains...can't call it cramps cos they're really not the same as usual...but daren't get any hopes up.

Bettythecat · 17/01/2019 20:59

@FivexFive yes let's make a pact!! Fingers crossed we get the chance to POAS and don't both get af over the weekend. 😫 do you have a busy weekend to distract you too? X

Bettythecat · 17/01/2019 21:00

@FivexFive loving the "1 sore boob" 😂 I've also had a couple of shooting type pains in right boob when normally it's left boob that gets sore. It's a sign!! Lol.

FivexFive · 17/01/2019 21:08

@bettythecat, not very busy unfortunately, although I do have accounting revision to do... and cleaning! Not very exciting! Might go for a meal and to the cinema Sat night though 🙂 I've googled having watery discharge before period... mixed results! Keeping everything crossed for us both!! Xx

PinkFizz19 · 17/01/2019 21:09

@Babytrain89 Aww thank you. I'll obviously keep my fingers crossed that AF doesn't come for you on Sunday Smile Yes definately...last cycle i was 4 days late...i'd really built my hopes up. I tested and got a BFN and then hours later AF showed her ugly head. We said I'll only test again now if I'm a week late. Not sure if to expect AF at CD28 or CD32 though. So confusing.

DuchessofPemberley · 17/01/2019 21:28

Thanks @FlapJackered that's super reassuring that you've had that too! Fingers crossed I caught it.

Just echoing what others are saying, I think the first few cycles are really hard because it slowly dawns on you that you're not going to be one of those lucky first time couples. And then the idea that you have no idea when you'll get that much wanted baby comes in.

I just had it in my head I would be twelve weeks pregnant by Christmas so I could tell everyone. Then as time went in I realised I wouldn't be twelve weeks pregnant so I would have to hide it, which was fine. Then I realised I wouldn't be pregnant for Christmas, but I might get my BFP for birthday/New Year.

Nope.

I'm on cycle six now and actually calmer this cycle, but that may be because I'm starting to feel like it's impossible so my hopes aren't up? That sounds sad but it's honestly easier.

cupcakesandglitter · 17/01/2019 21:29

@FlapJackered oh don't worry, we just did 😏 I tried CrossFit's method of finishing after DH. Not sure if it makes a difference but enjoyed it either way 😂😂 I will say though, it was massively spontaneous, but I was super super wet. Unsure if maybe that's a sign but hey ho!! Fingers crossed for us xx

Muddypaws12 · 17/01/2019 21:30

Good evening ladies!

Congratulations for those with the allusive BFP lines!

And to all those of us still waiting for it hang on in there! This is an emotional rocky road and you’re all doing an amazingly!

I wanted to let you all know about Ovusense. I have never done temp monitoring as my sleep patterns vary and I’m just useless!

The Ovusense has, so far (in my very inexperienced 10 days of use), been pretty good!
Temping definitely has been very informative and along side OPK’s has given me a much clearer picture.

Anyone wanting to try you can get 25% off with code:NEWYEARBABY.

Fingers crossed for you all and I hope this maybe useful to someone x

Bettythecat · 17/01/2019 21:46

@DuchessofPemberley I had exactly the same thought process as you. Assumed I would be pregnant by Christmas and even went so far as thinking of ways I would tell people, then was in the TWW over Christmas with some really weird unusual symptoms so was being careful with what I was drinking but here I am still not pregnant. I completely agree it's harder at first because you're so excited and it feels like such a shock when it doesn't happen first time like it seems to for every other bugger.

I'm cycle 5 now so not that much behind you. Feeling more chilled this month but still a bit anxious in the mornings weirdly.

@FivexFive accounting revision sounds like it might make the time go more slowly than help to pass the time 😉. Dinner sounds good though. I'm going to do some house stuff- DIY etc. At least for every month I'm not pregnant I can spend a bit of money on the house- the new year has put me in the nesting mood!

Lozzlepop · 17/01/2019 22:09

@thumper59 I thought as much, might wait a few days and test again. Feels like AF might be coming but no sign. If this spotting is all I’m goung to get as a withdrawal bleed when would I start counting it from to know when I’ll ovulate next month? Why is the female anatamoy so puzzling- pass the wine please 😂

thumper59 · 17/01/2019 22:38

@Lozzlepop. Oh god I really don't know- see my withdrawal bleed was like it always is so I calculated from that first day as my cycle. I'll have to see if that was right at the end of this month when AF comes, or hopefully doesn't come! God knows. I'm going insane nearly because I haven't told anyone at all other then dp obviously that I'm off the pill and I don't think he cares much for hearing about CM or DPO so I'm just stuck in my own head wanting to explode 😂 thank goodness for MN!!

Crossfitgirl · 17/01/2019 23:02

@cupcakesandglitter yessss go on girl!!!! 😂 Can't believe I chose just then to peek on here and saw that!!

MrsR16 · 17/01/2019 23:02

@DayDreamer1707 yeah I think it is AF. I haven't got any cramps, but I didn't last month so I'm not worried about that!

@Lozzlepop I'm already on the wine!! 😂

MrsR16 · 17/01/2019 23:05

Ladies, I think I'm going to try OPKs this month - recommendations for a brand please?

FlapJackered · 17/01/2019 23:30

@cupcakesandglitter Intrusive tmi question here but when you sorted yourself out did your DH go away or was he there? My DH tends to hang around after sex and I think he might be offended if I started going at it without him after just Dtd 😂😂.

@Crossfitgirl how are you getting on!? Has the nausea gone yet? 🤰 🤢

@DuchessofPemberley I was exactly the same about imagining telling everyone at Christmas. It's so difficult not to get negative about it. I used to look up when my due date would be every cycle but I don't anymore as it seems so unlikely after almost 11 months of ttc. In a way I get what you mean about being calmer. End of Feb will be a year ttc for me and I am pretty sure at that point I will have a full on meltdown 😂😭 come on baby the clocks-a-ticking!!!!

FlapJackered · 17/01/2019 23:36

@MrsR16 personally if you're willing to spend the money I would get the CLear Blue 2 hormone one and also the amazon one step strips. Then you do the Clear blue once a day with fmu and the one step 2/3 times a day. I think at least one month doing both is good as I have had times when the one step haven't ever been positive so it's good to have the clear blue and then other times where I have got the positive on the one step the night before so you get more warning. If you don't want to spend the money though just go for the one step ones.
I think I have a slightly scary opk obsession so you may not want to take advice from me 😂 ...it's slightly worrying when it feels weird to not pee into a container! 😂😂

So this morning I nearly fell off the toilet ❤️

I’m in complete shock! And now complete anxiety about what happens over the next 10 weeks (FX)

Baby Dust to all ❤️

Crossfitgirl · 18/01/2019 07:54

@flapjackered I'm good thank you, it's definitely settled a lot, just getting the odd bout every few days or so. Still very tired, but apparently it will all magically disappear at 12 weeks! Only a week and a bit to go... Hope you're doing OK and managing to relax, and DH is still getting on board at the right time? Xxx

thumper59 · 18/01/2019 07:55

@Keyboard91 congratulations 💕💕

DayDreamer1707 · 18/01/2019 08:47

@Keyboard91 I see a faint line, congrats. How many DPO are you? x
