@Scotslass55 OMG!!!! Congrats!!! Do you have a nice strong line? What CD are you now? Xx

Lozzlepop · 16/01/2019 21:46

@Scotslass55 ahhhh congratulations that’s amazing news ☺️☺️☺️

starkid · 16/01/2019 21:47

@PinkFizz19 - it's a great feeling getting the smileys isn't it? Makes you think 'aha, my body might actually be working!'

@FlapJackered !e're cycle buddies this month! Well almost as I'm CD15, but I also usually ovulate between days 16-19 so very similar cycles. Got ewcm and a flashing smiley at the mo, so hoping to get the static one tomorrow as DH is home Smile my cheapies aren't getting any darker though. I'm also running low on sticks, only maybe 4 left...!

starkid · 16/01/2019 21:48

@@Scotslass55 - yayyy congrats, another BFP! What a great start to the year already for this thread Grin let's see the line!!

Kittyhop · 16/01/2019 21:59

@MrsLBear that’s reassuring, thank you! Fingers crossed it turns static soon x

AnnaMC214 · 16/01/2019 22:28

Wow another bfp! Huge congratulations @Scotslass55!!

Scotslass55 · 16/01/2019 23:07

Thank you ladies! I’ll try and add the photo. Going to do another tomorrow just to check.

@cupcakesandglitter I’m CD 31. 2 days late.

Trying to keep it all in perspective as I’m nearly 39 so risk of miscarriage is higher, but very exciting!

Sending love to those of you for whom news of another BFP is hard to take. Xx

PinkFizz19 · 16/01/2019 23:10

@starkid Definately. Especially when you've been on the pill for a while you worry what's going on inside. DP wasn't up for it tonight and I didn't want to force it as gutted as I was. He's give me a promise for morning BD before work Wink hopefully this won't be too late for us.

PinkFizz19 · 16/01/2019 23:12

Sorry for double post but that's a fab positive @Scotslass55 xx

MrsR16 · 16/01/2019 23:14

@Scotslass55 congratulations!! Awesome BFP xx

I think I'm out this month. Started spotting this evening! I'm so fed up and cross with myself. Why can't I seem to get pregnant at all? 😭

FlapJackered · 16/01/2019 23:21

@Scotslass55 Congratulations!!! That is such good news! So happy for you, you must be over the moon. That is a very strong line too! 🎉🎉🎉

@PinkFizz19 hurrah for the static smiley!! 👏🏻🙌🏻

@starkid that's good news! I hope you get your static tomorrow. Running out of sticks is a legitimate worry 😂 I am the same. I think I have enough of the CB to last me until Sunday then I may have to order more. I have hundreds of the IC though 😂. I am really hoping I am not low fertility again tomorrow. 😩...I dread to think how much money I have spent on opks since I started ttc. 🙈

@MrsAW2018 If you read the amazon reviews on those one step ones a lot of people say they didn't get a positive until a week after af was due. Not trying to get your hopes up but I wouldn't rely on the result too much. 🤞🏻🤞🏻

FlapJackered · 16/01/2019 23:26

@MrsR16 sorry hun, is it definitely af?. It's so hard isn't it, especially when you've done everything you should. It will happen. I find it helps to have a one day pity party where you eat crap/enjoy a drink etc then tomorrow focus on the new fresh cycle and how you're going to tackle it! Sending hugs. ❤️

MrsR16 · 16/01/2019 23:32

@FlapJackered I think it is. It's getting redder in colour - I always start with a brown colour. Thanks for your message hun! Xx

KatBeCool · 16/01/2019 23:45

@Scotslass55 congratulations! That's quite a bright and strong line, you don't even need a frer!

KittieKath · 16/01/2019 23:55

@Scotslass55

Wow! Amazing! H&H 9-months.... 😊

So sweet of you to worry about us still trying for that BFP, but you are but giving us hope. xx

@PinkFizz19 Amazing! You wore him out. Live that! Good luck on the next round... ding ding! 🤣

MrsH497 · 17/01/2019 00:57

@Scotslass55 amazing news and an awesome line!! Happy and healthy 9 months for you and bean!

Well I finally found an outfit for the wedding only took an emotional breakdown in the changing room with tears and everything! Hubby is just awesome he just hugs me until it's better! So I'm overly sensitive and emotional the last few days. Laying in bed thinking do my boobs hurt? Are they bigger?! Ramblings of a mad woman!

Night ladies x

BabySquid · 17/01/2019 06:40

Hey guys, for those who remember me, I'm back!
For those who don't, Hi 👋🏻
Age- 29
Cycle- 9
MC in September and just BFNs from then on!

So I decided to have a break from Mumsnet for a while, I think I last posted on thread 7! Wow to 11! You ladies sure can talk haha

While I didn't have a break from TTC, I wasn't tracking everything and taking things all too seriously for a couple of months, but now I miss talking to my TTC crazy ladies 😜
As I'm not tracking I'm not 100% sure when I'm ovulating, but we have a pretty good DTD record, but one app says yesterday one says this Saturday!

How's everyone doing? XxX

KittieKath · 17/01/2019 06:54

@MrsH497

Oh lovely, hope you feel stronger today. I too am frantically symptom spotting... Is that implantation twinges?! Or do I just need to fart?! 🙈

When are you going to test?

🤞🤞🤞🤞

@BabySquid

Hello and welcome back!

Bettythecat · 17/01/2019 07:32

@Scotslass55 massive congratulations darling.

@BabySquid welcome back! Also symptom spotting like mad here but I have no symptoms to spot at to be honest: due af on Sunday/Monday and seems that's what I'll be getting!

Bettythecat · 17/01/2019 07:35

Sorry think I tagged the wrong people there!

@BabySquid I know what you mean about missing this thread. I must be checking it ten times a day- it's completely addictive!!

Xx

honeylove · 17/01/2019 08:08

Thread is moving so quickly!

Congrats @stormtrooperjulian & @scotslass55!

Thought AF arrived on Monday night (2 days early), but it was a lot lighter than usual and has vanished last night - usually 4 days at least but 2 seems very short! (TMI sorry!) Confused

Am I clutching at straws, should I wait a few days and test?! Had a few little niggles and I’m still feeling very bloated which usually disappears after AF, but not sure if I am symptom spotting!

stormtrooperjulian · 17/01/2019 08:31

@Scottslass55 congratulations! Such exciting news!

@BabySquid welcome back

I told my DH last night. He was shocked but really pleased, and asked me to go POAS so he could see the line 😂😂

DayDreamer1707 · 17/01/2019 10:17

@@Scotslass55 I bloody knew it, congrats!! You are up the fluff!!

@MrsR16 I totally agreed with @FlapJackered . Plus it might not be AF yet x

@Bettythecat I wish I could symtpom spot too sometimes but currently nothing but Creamy CM which could mean anything, plus I'm only 5dpo

@honeylove I'd say wait until you are definitely late if your not sure it was AF. Could it be implantation?

Bettythecat · 17/01/2019 10:42

@DayDreamer1707 that's the same as me! Only creamy CM. I'm now 8DPO I think... I am feeling so anxious- it's like that feeling you get before an exam or before exam results!!

19Bee2 · 17/01/2019 10:47

Another lovely piece of news. Congratulations @Scotslass55 Hope you are well and enjoying this exciting feeling.

I'm on CD22 but according to temps pretty sure I had an ambulatory cycle but my sleeping has been restless this month and today temp went up but not sure how much I can trust. Holding very little.hope for this month so just ready for AF to arrive and move on. Focusing more on exercise and diet next month. We're not particularly unhealthy but could definitely improve and at least I will feel like I'm helping things along.
Hope everyone is having a good day, especially those in the TWW. Here's to many happy distractions to pass the time!
