Kicking things off positively. A new year means a fresh start. For everyone on their TTC journey, be it the first month you're trying, or 3+ years. It's so hard not to let those BFN's wear on you after time. Share your stories, frustrations, questions, tips and advice.

I'm still waiting for AF. I'm not testing because I decided I'd rather wait until AF arrived or was late. But, I'm not thinking about much else!

@naughtysausage have you been having any symptoms? I am in exactly the same boat as you, due tomorrow or around then but I can’t understand why I had cramping and light pink spotting on Sat eve/all day Sunday and Then Monday and all day today so far nothing at all?! I did a test first thing this morning because I was so impatient and it was bfn. So if I had spotting on Sunday and let’s say it was IB then when would it show up on a test? I used a FRER! and now I’ve run out of tests which is a good thing I suppose. I will buy another for Friday morning if I haven’t seen AF by then x

This is baby # 2 and this time round I think I feel a bit more uneasy and nervous even though I had a really smooth 1st pregnancy 🙈

@HMIB how often where you bf when you had your chemical miscarriages? I only feed once a day and would love to continue (if I can stick the pain 😬) but always worried the impact of bf on pregnancy!!

@Blueowlstar I had the same symptoms as you, 4 days before af was due I had light pink spotting & brown discharge - both very little and lasted 2 days so I figured implantation bleeding. I did a test 2 days before af was due and bfn, really disheartening. The cramps are still there and yesterday (af due) I had a bit of spotting again. Today I got a BFP! Be patient and fingers crossed it's a good sign Xx

@Blueowlstar based on OAP sticks I ovulated a few days late in my cycle. Today I'm about 13 days DPO. I didn't have any implantation bleeding with my first pregnancy, I was googling flat out with hope that it was implantation and not related to me still breastfeeding and irregular periods. Baby dust to you! Is Af due tomorrow for you?

@Mcstark7 ah so we are the same dpo today. I tested am so who knows maybe this evening there might have been a faint positive but I’ve run out of tests which is probably a good thing. Yes I believe I would be due on tomorrow but I had been on the pill so long I don’t know if my cycles would be the same as they used to. I never had IB with my first or second either so it’s all new to me but I hope so much that it is what it is. But I have been reading that most people have got their BFP by 13dpo if they are going to get one, which has made me feel deflated. I guess I will know by Friday either way. I hope you have a lovely evening, you must be feeling so over the moon x

@Mcstark7 I think I was only feeding once a day! I did google a lot and found that in a few cases even the tiniest bit of hormone produced for breastfeeding makes pregnancies none viable. Which by the sounds that was me as as soon as I stopped I had a successful pregnancy. So I'm sure you'll be just fine. Loads of my friends are tandem feeding so it's totally possible. Congratulations on your BFP!!!! X

AF turned up first thing this morning as expected so I'm out this month. Good luck to those still waiting!

I have been really quiet for a while (since 09.01 @ 1 dpo) as I was in TWW and for my own sanity I took a break from MN.
POAS on 10 dpo (18.01) and have been consistently testing since then for line progression. Took a CB digital yesterday evening since had officially missed AF.
Very lucky it happened in cycle 1. I've learnt so much on here about OPKs etc... and I think it all contributed to the lovely result we now have! I hope it's a sticky bean!!!

Congratulations to everyone with BFPs!! not being saying much as it's my first month ttc and my ovulation day is isn't for a week yet! Entering the fertile window on Friday. I honestly don't know how I will stay sane in the 2ww, I was a POAS addict with Ds1 took me 4 cycles trying with ds1 so not expecting it to happen quickly, going to try occupy myself the whole 2 weeks haha

Am great, apart from sore boobs, the odd cramp here and there, getting hungry every 2 hours and the frequent trips to the toilet. The excitement more than compensates for that. How are you feeling?
@justsparklex it had been so difficult not to test prior to 10 dpo. I did all I could and then when I thought I was going to break, I asked DH to hide all my tests 😂

Well, just to recap, i am still awaiting on blood results to tell me why i have secondary ammenorhea. Not sure why, no one seems to be able to tell me! May have to go for an ultrasound or MRI or both, but its making TTC very difficult. So think we may just not concentrate on that now and focus on myself before i send myself a bit mad!

Ttc12019 haha that's a good idea!! Definitely going to do the same, will drive me crazy though

Hey, just an update to say AF came Sunday night. Gutted, but wishing you all luck. If anything this has made me realise how much I want a child (Also I think I need to put strategies in place to avoid crushing disappointment next month.) Anyone have any ideas?

@ttc12019 I'm completely drained of energy this week and sore boobs. The cramps are easing now. Earlier I had a sharp pain in my lower abdomen which apparently can be implantation/stretching pain 🤷🏻‍♀️ when pregnant with DD I remember being tired from 8-11 weeks, I hope this doesn't last up to 12 weeks 🙈

Hope you don’t mind me joining. I’m TTC #1. Stopped cerazette end of October. Got ?whitdrawal bleed 1st week of December. Then what felt more like old AF (never bled on pill) stating 26th December so now am late even if I had gone back to 28 day cycle which I had pre-pill days. BFN all tests so caved and bought a 1st response today but again BFN. So no idea where I am in cycle it what’s going on. 🤷‍♀️

Anyone else have similar issues?
