I'm ttc baby 2. I have a ds after 5 years of trying and a mmc. Convinced dh to try for another and so this is my 2nd cycle. We're hoping for a girl this time

Hey! Hoping for a bit of help currently on month 18 of trying (this is our 2nd month with the help of clomid) I’m now 12dpo and couldn’t help but take a test! Can someone tell me if they see a line as well or am I going mad? Thanks

Well I’m out this month! I had light pink spotting last night and cramps and same this morning at 11dpo. AF def looks to be on the way! I am gutted but onwards to the next cycle I guess. I guess after coming off the pill my cycle just needs to get back to normal. I thought I would have been due 23rd but turns up 4 days early?! So strange.

@aj90x I definitely see something. I would test with a pink dye if you can get one! Definitely test tomorrow though!!

@Blueowlstar have you taken a test yet?! If AF hasn't fully arrived don't count your self out?! Xx

@Blueowlstar oh no. There is next month, but it is dashing. Can you do something lovely today?

AF still isn't here and it's horrible. I almost feel like it's/she's teasing me, but if she is that is incredibly cruel. Also I know it's an illogical thing to think. Could drinking lots of water and testing in afternoon made test out of whack? Am trying not to hope. DP thinks I am being neurotic, and I am. He says to get off MN and Google and go do something else with my day off work. I'm looking for signs in everything.

@HMOB I took a test yesterday morning but hadn’t planned to do another until I was due and then I had the spotting last night and today. It’s ok! It was my first month trying After coming off the pill and only 1 in 5 get pregnant in the first month off the pill. Doesn’t stop us being hopeful I suppose.

@aj90x I def see another line but def test using a different test if I were you. Fx

@sleepyhead11 thank you Hun, I am going to try and not think about it for the rest of the day, we are going on a dog walk with the kids and it’s a lovely sunny day :) I hope you manage to take your mind off it too although it’s easier said than done isn’t it. When are you planning to take another test?

Thank you for all your lovely messages. Reading other people's experiences has really been what has kept me optimistic whilst ttc and I have everything crossed for you ladies still ttc.

If it helps at all, i thought i might share my (albeit relatively short) journey to BFP!

Ttc #1, cycle 3, faint BFP CD20, 8dpo. Confirmed with FRER CD21, 9dpo.

Cycles 1 and 2 - BFN
• Taking pregnacare
• Checking cm but not daily
• BD every other day between CD 9-12 (I have a 27 day cycle)
• Using Glow app
• DP taking wellman conception
• Propped bottom up on 2 pillows as long as I could post BD
Cycle 3 - BFN
• Stopped pregnacare
• Checking cm daily
• Using Fertility Friend app (lifesaver - especially getting to browse through all the charts where people got their BFPs)
• Began temping from CD1 (this is the one thing that made me feel a little bit in control, wish I'd started it sooner)
• BD every 1-2 days from CD7 until FF confirmed I had ovulated
• Stopped drinking caffeine altogether
• Started taking Vitamin D3 capsules, folic acid tablets, Vital DHA capsules and Coq10 tablets (all except vitamin D3 as recommended by Luisa Zissman's blog)
• DP took Vitaman, Vital DHA and Coq10 tablets
• On the whole improved diet with more veggies and fruit
• Actively tried to enjoy BD and not see it as a chore
• Propped bottom up in 2 pillows for as long as I could post BD
• Tried to relax
P.s. had every "symptom" in the book on cycle 2 then not actually pregnant. Not a single symptom cycle 3 and got BFP.

If we hadnt got pur BFP this cycle, next cycle i was going to start using OPKs, pre seed and possibly purchase a moon cup to keep the 'goodies' inside for longer!

I'm definitely not saying that any or all of these changes were responsible for the BFP but if I can help anyone to achieve one with my story that would be a dream come true.

@Sleepyhead11 how weird. When will you test again? And I deffo think very dilute wee will mess up your test. The HCG just wouldn't be there in a high enough concentration.

@aj90x let us know what the next test says!

@naughtysausage because this is my first time off the pill in 15 years (apart from when I was pregnant with child number 2, I actually have no idea what is normal with me. I’m still light pink spotting today and a pressure feeling in my lower stomach. Will have to see what tomorrow brings. How are you feeling?

@Blueowlstar I've got some lovely big under the skin lurker spots brewing and the random rage/sadness that come a day or two before AF. So I think it'll arrive bang on time.
When I came off the pill I was suddenly totally bemused by what all this weird monthly variation was. I hadn't had pmt or ovulated in so long I wasn't used to the highs or lows at all.

TBF your symptoms could be implantation, but to stop you getting your hopes up, I'll just be optimistic/excited for you!

Morning! Little update for you, had some cheapies laying around so tried last night (top) and again this morning. I’m still sure I can see a line, however I have no symptoms what so ever and my temp has slightly dropped this morn. Will test again in a couple of days which is after af is due x

@aj90x I can definitely see both the lines as well. Have you got a first response that you can test with? I didn’t have any symptoms with either of my two until about 2 weeks after my af was due.

@aj90x that's definitely a positive no doubting that!! Leave it a day or so and test again and you should have a lovely strong line!! 😊

@aj90x that looks so promising! And I'm another one where it took several weeks to notice symptoms last time.

@blueowlstar I haven’t but I think I’m going to get one today. Told my partner I wouldn’t buy anymore as I’ve loads of cheapies at home but what you say and what you want to do are to different things, right? Lol

@HMIB I’m aiming to test Wednesday, however that’s if I can hold out that long. Will keep you updated though :)

@Naughtysausage thank you, I feel a lot more positive knowing I don’t have to have symptoms, fingers crossed that line gets darker!

Hi I'm new to this group.

A little bit about myself- I have a 1year old baby who i still breastfeed once a day. I got my first period over Christmas, second one due today and still no sign.

4 days ago I had a bit of spotting (pink) and brown tinge discharge (sorry tmi). Today I had a bit of red spotting and cramps. Do you think this is my period starting to come? 😭 I can't judge my other symptoms as I still bf (I've sore boobs) and haven't had a period in so long I forget what my normal pms symptoms are

@Mcstark7 no such thing as tmi! I think the only way to be sure is to pee on a stick. Good luck!

I'm still waiting out AF here so I haven't tested. It hasn't arrived yet though, due Wednesday really if it sticks to my average cycle length. How are you getting on @Blueowlstar?

Evening! @naughtysausage well it’s been so weird! I had light pink spotting late on Saturday evening and all day Sunday with light aches and cramping and I was sure AF was coming but then nothing today!? Cramps have also disappeared? I am also due on Wednesday if I am correct that I have a 28 day cycle. I thought I was out but now I’m holding onto hope again!

@Mcstark7 Hey! I was also breastfeeding and I got my period back on the 9th! I've since stopped now which has totally broken me as I don't think either of us were quite ready DS Is 15 months old now and he liked to feed all through the night. But in away I needed things to change as lack of sleep wasn't great!

When I wasTTC DS3 I was still breastfeeding DS2 and my cycles were irregular and unfortunately for me I kept on having chemical pregnancies. So when I stopped completely I fell pregnant straight away and it was sticky! So this Is why I've stopped all together feeding DS4 I'm still waiting on ovulation over here! But you should definitely test!! But one of the main signs is it becomes quite painful to feed when early pregnant!! 😊. X

@HMIB thanks for replying. I started to wean my DS in November, with plans to completely stop by Christmas to TTC. However my DS and teething bad different plans and we ended up increasing to feeding during the night as comfort. I do find it sort to feed, but I do think that's possibly because lack of supply and all of a sudden increase in bf. I'm holding out another few days as I'm too afraid of a negative result 😢 I did OAP during the month and know I did ovulate so 🤞🏻

Hi girls! Just a quick update! So I couldn’t resist and yesterday did an internet cheaply at 8dpo, well I couldn’t believe it when the faintest line appeared 😆 my other half could barely see it! So I bought a first response for this morning at 9dpo and the line is definitely there! Everything crossed now that it’s a sticky one and trying to not get too excited until my period doesn’t show on Sunday! Xxx
