@mummyb aww that sounds so tough for you and upsetting.
My ds doesnt care when I drop him off at my mums to go to work, he just waves at me 🤣🤣 I wish he would care a little more sometimes though

She's ok with grandparents it was just different at pre-school but it's fine now she gives me a cuddle and a kiss on each cheek then trots off to play with her friends with a big smile on her face and when. I pick her up she runs up to me for a cuddle with a huge smile on her face too! Xx

@mummyb I havnt experienced that yet, think I will be the one crying when hes big enough for nursery. Time goes so fast doesnt it. Great that your little girl is so confident and happy to go now. She sounds like she has such a big personality, paying in shops etc. So cute.

Fingers crossed all will sleep well! Time does go so fast I can't imagine my life without DD but it seems like yesterday when I first bet her too! Seriously treasure the time before they get their bossy confidence it's great that she now gas confidence as she used to be really shy but now she like a teenager mardy and bossy!!

@Scarletrose18 oh yes the calendar has me down as fertity window starting Tuesday and then going on for six days. Aww a date night sounds lovely, will you go for a nice meal/drinks or cinema type thing? I bet you can’t wait. Your Mum sounds lovely and I bet she’s a godsend. I can’t wait to get some time with dh once ds gets alittle older and easier to look after my Mam will be able to babysit him an occasional time. Mind you I could have a second one by then lol.

@MummyBearBoo aww bless, I will be exactly the same. I will love the time to myself to eat in peace and like you say watch own programs but I will miss ds so much! Omg if ds does that I’ll be an absolute mess, aww but like you say at least you now know she loves it and plays with her little friends. God yes I’m wondering how much in advance I’ll have to register ds for preschool next April’s and then nursery for September?

Haha @mummybearboo they are like mini teenagers aren’t they, ds sometimes reminds me of one now at times bless him. He’s a very alert little guy that knows his own mind. He likes to be independent and feel like a big boy. Even when he was a baby he wasn’t one of those sleepy babies he was alert and never slept, me and dh used to joke it was because he didn’t want to miss anything. They’re so sweet though as well aren’t they. After ds’s bath I wrap him in a big warm towel and he gives me a big cuddle after his bath, I enjoy these cuddles while they last. It’s such precious time. I just try and appreciate it and take it all in.

@coco yes I dont really get that chart thing where you get a score for each day. I went by that and the calander first cycle and dtd loads then my positive opk was late and all my dates changed and I had to dtd for another 4 or 5 days lol
You were saying before you feel the same... I think SMEP will be great for us both because of that plus I feel really good that I have a plan too lol. Did you add dh to Ovia?

Well we never got out the last time because we got sick so its long overdue. Yes shes great, im very fortunate but I dont like to ask very often because she already babysits when im at work. Dinner and maybe the cinema (although that would prob require staying up too late lol)

Exactly @Scarletrose18 I was the same, I started DTD too much far too early and when I was actually fertile I couldn’t be bothered! I think the plan will really help, dh was pleased with it too and yes I’ve added him to the email part. It will apparently email him when my fertile window is coming up. I’m still doing the SMEP though this cycle the same as you. Aww well your date night sounds long overdue. I can understand you not wanting to ask be your Mum will know you need your own time and don’t ask often. I know what you mean it’s hard to do those long night of meals followed by cinema anymore. It’s difficult not to rush back and worry about the time, the guilt we feel as parents is a lot isn’t it.

When do u all start your SMEP??

Hi @PastaSauceHoarder and @mfbroome how are you both feeling? I hope your pregnancies are going well.
I’m on cd7 today and will be starting SMEP this cycle. I’m feeling abit more relaxed this time around and I’ve accepted that if it’s not meant to be than it’s not and all I can do it try. I’ve been down to the school I want ds to go to and picked up an enrolment form for nursery, the lady said they’re filling up fast for next year already. I’m pleased I’m started the process now so that he gets his place. It seems like such a big step even just enrolling him, god they grow up so fast don’t they!?

Ahhh that's great news :) especially that you are getting it all sorted if there's a waiting list as well :) the worse thing u want us to not get a place! How are u feeling about it?

Guys I'm officially almost dead went to the gym yesterday then went again today - bad idea my legs were aching after 2 mins on the bike almost didn't make it thru the full work out!! Don't think il do that again but it means I can eat more today! - I'm 8lb away from my goal weight now - I'm in normal range for everything but want to lost some more weight! I'm 12dpo gonna test Saturday if AF don't arrive by then it's due in Friday! X

I’m feeling abit of mixed emotions about it. On one hand I feel happy and excited for ds but at the same time emotional as my little baby boy is growing up. It feels like such a big step. I know it’s not until next year and it’s ages off but it was the whole taking him into the school today for the first time and enrolling him. It got me thinking that god I bet it’s here before I know it. I bought him a little teddy bear on our way back and it just seemed like one of those defining moments if you know what I mean. I know I’d hate him not to get his place because I hadn’t acted quickly enough; I’d be mortified.

Oh wow well done @MummyBearBoo that takes so much will power and you’re doing amazing with your work outs etc! God not long until you will test, hoping AF stays away for you and you get your BFP! ✨✨✨

@Cocobana I totally know what u mean- mixed emotions 👌🏼❤️ It's a huge milestone! And in my experience it doesn't get easier with the second 🙈
Isn't it amazing how we as adults still have to grow in certain ways to let our children grow too! Hopefully u will have a little baby there with u to keep u occupied when he does begin ❤️

No I haven't received an apt yet I'm reckon it'll be at the 8 week mark?? So I have a while to wait :)

@Mfbroome aww i bet it doesn’t. I know it’s crazy how we have to change and adapt as we watch them grow. I feel honoured to watch dh grow up and enjoy seeing his cheeky lovely little personality come out more every single day. Aww I’d love that, I hope there is. I said to dh when ds goes to nursery it would be lovely if he had a sibling who I could walk him to nursery with. I guess time will tell. Oh yes it should be, I bet 8 weeks will soon be here.
I do too, ds has a memory book and a memory box that was only meant to be for his first year but I’m still putting bits and pieces in it to this day. He loves his little teddy, he held it all he way home and has went to sleep for a nap with it. I think this new addition will be joining his little cuddly toy gang.
