HJWT · 04/02/2019 19:35

Defo wont be getting a BFP this month, DD is teething, DH isn't well (ongoing problems) and I'm exhausted with it all, haven't DTD since Friday morning and wont be anytime soon 😂

MummyBearBoo · 04/02/2019 19:53

When is your FW? X

Scarletrose18 · 04/02/2019 20:52

@mummyb oh thats not long to wait for your test day then! Any more soreness or symptoms today?

@coco Im on cd7 today, we are really close this cycle... yay 🙂🙂
Thats exactly what I take! Along with multi-vit and vit E too. Hopefully it helps 🙂
Did you enjoy last night? I seen it on at bedtime, you must of been up so late? Glad ds sleeping better, im sure you will notice a difference in yourself, plus if you are getting more sleep then your fertility will be increased. Ooh I will set for record thank you.
As mummy said its about dtd every other day then 3 days in a row after positive opk. You should google it and see what you think...seems to have good success rates

@mfbroome Thank you 💗 How long until your holiday? Im sure you are all getting excited now! Im sure you will get some symptoms soon

@hjwt what cd are you on?

A bit of tenderness and more cm (soz tmi) than normal but as I wasn't aware of any symptoms this early last twice do not sure it means anything but then I wasn't TTC so I wasn't looking out for them! Also I know it's totally strange but I never get hiccups when I'm pg - still yet to get them since ov day probably jinxed it now! Talked to my DH about SMEP he agrees for next cycle if needed think he'll change his mind during tho!! X

@MummyBearBoo @Scarletrose18 I am on CD 17. Last month I had a 31 day cycle and I think I maybe ovulated on CD19 but i never got a positive I got an almost positive OPK on CD18 it was almost there and then disappeared a few hours later! 😩 its 5.44 am and DD is up again! Yesterday it was 3.30 AM, I think my body it to exhausted to conceive atm. Haven't taken vitamins in a few days either just keep forgetting😟

MummyBearBoo · 05/02/2019 07:01

@HJWT - Oh dear my DD has a cold and sticky eyes (this sometimes happens when she gets cold) so she was awake at 3.30am so she came through to our room and fell straight back to sleep til about 10 mins ago - she's got pre-school today!
Which OPKs are you using I never got a positive with IC which I used for 1 cycle in 2017 it turned out I accidentally got pregnant that cycle too - though we weren't going to start TTC til the month after - I wanted to check when I was due to ovulate - but now I'm using CB I have had a positive the last 3 months! X

HJWT · 05/02/2019 07:59

@MummyBearBoo DD also had nursery but she doesn't go back to sleep 😩 I think I will try clear blue next cycle! Xx

Scarletrose18 · 05/02/2019 08:37

@mummyb your very strong holding out until your due date.
Sorry your dd not well.
There must be something in the air as ds woke at 2:15 and didnt go back to sleep until about almost 5 😩.
Just filling myself up on coffee to get through the day lol.

@HJWT How many times a day are you taking your opks?
What age is your dd?
Sorry she was up so early, you must be so exhausted. 😩

Do you ladies work or SAHM?

@Scarletrose18 we are, our cycles are only two days apart this cycle. That’s seems like a good method, i showed dh and he’s onboard with it so we’re going to try it this cycle. I think it is helping him having something to follow as he was abit lost with it all; if only there was a way of letting our dh’s access ovia on their phone too 🤣
Oh yes we watched half the next day remaining true to our form of falling asleep after the half time show! The vitamins seem worthwhile and I’ve heard good things so I’m hoping they’ll help.
Oh no sorry your ds didn’t sleep well ds didn’t sleep well last night, what do you think caused that? How are you and your dh are you feeling better?

Cocobana · 05/02/2019 09:14

@MummyBearBoo thanks for explaining SMEP, I’m going to give it a go this cycle. You’ve got so much willpower for not testing, I hope the rest of your TWW goes fast for you. Hope allyour symptoms are a good sign!
Aww no so sorry your dd is poorly, that’s awful and hope she feels better very soon. 💖

MummyBearBoo · 05/02/2019 09:16

@Scarletrose18 - I'm SAHM I cant fit work around DD pre-school and I live immerse but all my family live in Sheffield so I don't have any other form of childcare - I'm quite fortunate that I don't need to work at the mo but I think I'll go back once DD is in school. My work just said to let them know when I want to go back!
@HJWT gosh you must be shattered hopefully she'll be tired and sleep better tonight!
I resisted temptation to test today I'm 11 dpo but it's only 2-3 days to wait see jf AF comes! X

MummyBearBoo · 05/02/2019 09:17

Meant to say I'm in Leeds and all my family....

Cocobana · 05/02/2019 09:28

Ds didn’t sleep well x1 don’t know how it repeated lol or I typed it twice Shock

Cocobana · 05/02/2019 09:34

@MummyBearBoo I’m a SAHM too and we’re similar because I don’t have any free child care either. I used to commute to work quite a distance away and that coupled with the cost of paid childcare it wasn’t worth my while to go back, financially or otherwise. I also wouldn’t have gotten the hours I would have wanted, my work was quite full on and understaffed. I’m going to go back to work once ds is in school similarly to you. I’m enjoying this precious time with ds and trying to do bits and pieces from home. How are you finding being a SAHM? I found it to be a massive lifestyle change when I had been used to working full time and being out all of the time.

MummyBearBoo · 05/02/2019 09:35

Psyching myself up to go to the gym really not feeling it today but I need to go and it's the only thing that lets me switch off from everything else!!!

MummyBearBoo · 05/02/2019 09:43

@Cocobana it is so different to go from doing really high pressure work to mundane and repetitive housework!! Still don't have much free time coz when I'm not doing housework I'm at the gym which I guess is free time but that is only 1 or 2 days a week and for an hour or taking DD to ballet, tap and music class - both are a 45 min walk each way!!
By the time I get home from taking DD to pre-school, eat get the bus to the gym get changed and work out then get showered and dressed get the bus and eat lunch it's pick up time again so I either catch up on all the ironing and washing or go to the gym on her two days at pre-school! DD spent her birthday money on a paw patrol lookout tower so she played all day yesterday so I managed to get my ironing done then! X

Cocobana · 05/02/2019 09:56

@MummyBearBoo I know it is a massive change I think. If I had free childcare I wold have gone back on a part time basis. I think sometimes it’s easier when I’m out the house with ds because when we’re in its cleaning and tidying up on repeat lol. At least when we’re out the house can’t get messed up lol. Bet it’s lovely going to the gym and getting some time to yourself when dd is at nursery. The classes sound lovely for your dd and I bet that 45 minute walk keeps you fit. I always prefer to walk places when I can too, I find it much more pleasant.
Ds is almost 2 so he won’t be in nursery for quite some time yet. I think I’ll miss him when he eventually does go though, he’s my mini best friend and I adore him! I think if we’re lucky enough to have a second child as well me and dh both think it’ll def be easier I stay at home abit longer, that’s why I don’t want to big of an age gap as well.

Cocobana · 05/02/2019 09:57

The look out tower sounds fab. We’ll prob get ds one of those eventually when he’s abit older. He’s getting quite enough as it is for his birthday.

Cocobana · 05/02/2019 09:57

would*

Cocobana · 05/02/2019 09:59

MummyBearBoo · 05/02/2019 10:32

@Cocobana -DD's pre-school takes them from 2 and a half so she stared in September when she was 2 and 8 months. If we're lucky enough to have another baby I'll probably wait until they start school before I go back to work!
sometimes go for coffee with some of the school mums while the kids are at school or we take them to a soft play when they're not at school! I love spending time with my DD but sometime you need adult conversation for a bit!
It was lovely coz on Saturday coz we took took DD to a toy shop so she could pick what she wanted to buy and gave the cashier the money for the lookout tower! He pink sparkly tap shoes I ordered off eBay came to she was prancing around in these for ages to!
When is your ext ov due?
@Mfbroome @PastaSauceHoarder - how are you both doing when is your scan @PastaSauceHoarder? X

Cocobana · 05/02/2019 10:59

That’s great they take them that age, I think it’ll be 3 for ds which will work out 3 and a half by the time September rolls around. I’ll double check it though as I just always thought they had to be 3. Oh adult conversation is definitely needed. My friend has just had a baby recently so it’s been interesting and cute seeing how ds was around her baby. It’s been making me extra broody to imagine him with his very own sibling, I think he’d be such a good big brother. We try getting out to groups when we can and also like to go swimming and to soft play; Ds loves the water. OMG your dd paying for he first time I bet that was absolutely adorable. They grow up so fast done they!? I can’t believe my baby boy will be 2 in just a couple of weeks!
