@coco Still, even though he was ok, im sure it was horrible for you, when I watch these shows where kids are in NICU I really feel so much for the parents cos when they are newborn they seem so tiny.
What are u watching atm? Nearly all of our shows seem to be over dont they! No busby Quints, little life on p, little p big world, Counting on, sextuplets etc 😕
Weve been watching criminal minds, but the early on cut version, the late night one is way to scary... really though it gives me nightmares lol.
Im on cd13 today, to be on time would need a positive opk tomorrow. Thank you for saying that, hooefully I get one out of the blue as well :)

Thank you @mummy I hope you get ov soon too, its so anoying waiting isnt it. Have you tried any vitamins or anything to see if it would help regulate your cycles. Im sure it will happen for you this year, im 31 this year, i remember being younger and thinking how old 30 was but now that im 30 i feel so young 😂
We are all still young really ladies. 🙂😏

We mostly just did some jobs today too @Cocobana, I find January so tedious - we're a bit skint after Christmas and its just not nice enough weather to really do anything. 🙄 We're thinking about taking DD to the zoo (Chester Zoo is only a short driving distance from us) because its a bit cheaper this time of the year but its really weather dependent! Roll on Spring, I'm ready for it now!! 🏵
That sounds so scary about your DS when he was a newborn, I'm so glad he's happy and healthy now. What do you think you'll do for his 2nd birthday? Smile

Thank you @Scarletrose18, I'm just naturally a worrier when it comes to pregnancy I think! I've been having mild cramping all evening which obviously shot my nerves through the roof, but on further investigation (a hell of a lot of googling) it seems to be a really normal symptom.

That EWCM is such a good sign despite the OPKs not being positive yet!! It could be any day now! 🤞🏻
My hair is also really fine (when I'm not wearing my extensions, shh...)

Thank you @MummyBearBoo, I'm just tired and spotty thanks to the extra hormones haha! And wow happy birthday for tomorrow!! 🎂🎁🎉 Have you got anything nice planned?
And I've got my fingers tightly crossed that by next year you'll be celebrating with an extra little person in your arms. Smile

Scarletrose18 · 13/01/2019 22:18

I understand @pasta Im a worrier about most things, I cramped from about 5 weeks onwards, and everytime I felt it, I used to run to the loo thinking the worst but I also googled and turns out its a good sign! Means baby is nestling down in there well 🙂 Trip to the zoo will be lovely and dd is at an age where she will enjoy seeing all the animals in "real life"

Lol I wont tell, what type do you have?
I got the microloops done once, they looked amazing but were terrible for my hair, so much broke off with them I think because my hair was so fine you could see it even more. I used clip ins after that and I liked them... havnt used them since before ds now. Think they are wrong colour now lol

Thanks @PastaSauceHoarder - I went out for a meal with DH last night just got a day with my DD tomorrow nothing planned. Monday's are our only day off coz Tue and Wed she has pre-school and I practically die at the gym tho since I went last week it shouldn't be too bad - Thursday she has ballet which involves me walking an hour and a half (there and back) mainly up steep hills pushing her in the pram and in the same place on Friday she has music class!!

I have PCOS which is why my cycles aren't regular (they were regular to the day but were every 5 weeks until last month!!) so I don't think I can take any vitamins to help with that?

So glad your DS is ok @Cocobana - they worry you so much when they're not well don't they!!

I googled it for you @mummyb. Seems to be that calcium and vitamin D can help regulate periods and ovulation and increase fertility with pcos.

I get vit D tablets in my local supermarket, they are normally about £2. Apparently us lacking in vit D in the winter is what makes us sad so I take one a day to help keep me happy as well lol 😊

PastaSauceHoarder · 14/01/2019 09:32

Thank you @Scarletrose18, thats really reassuring. 💛 I've had no more cramps since so I'm taking in as a good sign. 🤞🏻

I had microloops too! Before that I had sewn-in ones for my wedding (cost a bloody bomb) but the microloops were so much better, AND cheaper. Eventually though they started to grow out and as much as I love having long thick hair they were annoying me when trying to sleep. In the end I just removed them myself, bought a few hair extension clips from eBay and then just sewn them onto the seam - voila, homemade clip-in hair extensions. 😂 I call it my weekend hair now. Wink

I always tie my hair back for work but my tiny wispy bun looks a bit naff so I've just bought a tie-in hair piece on Saturday. Going to try that out later!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY @MummyBearBoo!! 🎉🎁🎂 I hope you get a nice relaxing day today with your DD, sounds lovely. Smile

Thats so cute that your little one goes to ballet! What age did you start putting her in there? If my DD continues to love dancing as much as she does now then I'll definitely think about putting her into some sort of dance class when shes older.

MummyBearBoo · 14/01/2019 09:48

I take vit D, folic acid and vit c with zinc - probably need to continue taking them I usually only start around ovulation and stop when my AF turns up - thanks @scarlet

MummyBearBoo · 14/01/2019 10:12

Thanks @pasta - she does baby ballet they can start at 18 months but I started her just before she was 2 - she took to it so well and it helped her confidence loads she loves it - she makes me laugh tho coz she takes it really seriously as even though she enjoys it and always does what she's told but she doesn't smile while she doing it 😂- she graduated to the pre-school class a bit early and I can't go in the room with her to that class so first time she had a bit of a wobble but she was fine once she started!!

MummyBearBoo · 14/01/2019 10:14

Might get some calcium supplements too they were regular til last month!

Cocobana · 14/01/2019 12:20

Happy Birthday @MummyBearBoo🎂🥂🍾💐🎁have a lovely day today! Chester zoo sounds great. We’re not sure what ds’s birthday plans will be exactly yet but dh has the week off so we’re making it a birthday week and hoping to take him to the aquarium one day and to a farm another day etc so some days out and cake and stuff on his birthday.
PCOS must be hard, hope your cycle behaves for you this month ✨✨✨

Cocobana · 14/01/2019 12:28

@Scarletrose18 I know what’s happened to our shows! I’m not watching much at the moment and have been finding myself trawling Netflix for something good! Oh gosh yes some scary stuff on there isn’t there, I was watching a horror film on my own the other night while dh was trying to get ds to sleep upstairs and it proper freaked me out. How are you today? I’ve been getting ewcm today and my lines are getting stronger on my opks and I’ve been abit cramps, I swear I’m going to ovulate today or tomorrow. I’m only cd10 today so I think surely I can’t ov this early but my body feels exactly like it does around that time. Me and dh only DTD yesterday morning for the first time since AF so if I do ovulate early I don’t know what my chances will be like with not getting much DTD in before it! Will try DTD tonight if can get ds settled.

Cocobana · 14/01/2019 12:30

@PastaSauceHoarder how are you feeling today? I can totally relate we’re skint after Christmas too, January is such a long month before paid too which doesn’t help! Realised I’ve answered Mummybearboo on ds’s birthday when you asked it pasta! I’m tired today and not feeling myself Confused lol total blonde moment!

Cocobana · 14/01/2019 12:33

How old is your dd @mummybearboo ? Sounds like she has a fantastic schedule. I used to always want to be a ballet dancer when I was a little girl and would have loved ballet lessons, the kids now have so much more opportunities than we did don’t they? Haha ‘kids now’ i sound so old!

Cocobana · 14/01/2019 12:34

Cocobana · 14/01/2019 12:52

@scarlet actually when I’ve looked on Ovia i had similar symptoms 3-4 days before my surge so it’s prob further off than I think. I’m just going to try DTD every other day at least and relax. I’ll going to be needing to order more opks 🤣 if I keep going through them at this rate!

Mfbroome · 14/01/2019 12:58

Happy Monday ladies! Sorry I've been a bit off again! Busy weekend here!
@PastaSauceHoarder how are you feeling!? When is your first scan, your going private right?! Eeeek so exciting!
@Scarletrose18 I just read u have no +opk yet , don't fret me either! But ewcm is a good sign of course :)
I am good thanks! I'm excited to be in my fertile week again- the months fly don't they!
I'm not organised at all 😂 I have a few bits sorted but plan is this weekend to pull it all out and go through what dc need xxx

@Cocobana how r u? have you started opks yet xxx

MummyBearBoo · 14/01/2019 13:20

@coco my DD is 3 a week tomorrow - I don’t know where 3 years went- the years fly but months when TTC drag!!! Another negative OPK xx

Scarletrose18 · 14/01/2019 20:14

Thats good @pasta
I know what you mean, i find back combing really helps my hair look better and i got this ball of faux hair from a hairdressing supply place, you pull pieces of it off and put it in your bun or at the front of your hair for volume so its really good. Homemade extentions.... i love it, a wee bargin 🙂

Im sorry you have pcos @mummyb I have heard it can be very painful too, a girl called Maci on one of the shows I watch tries to do things to make people more aware if it as I didnt know much about it before, she talked about how sore it was
Hoping its not too long until you get ovulation. Aww cute that your dd dances... my ds just shakes his hands up and down and sort of bounces to dance, I dont think he will be having any sort of dance career
In the future 😂🤣

@mfbroome Its hard to pack in advance espec because I find you end up needing to still use alot of the things right up until the day you go. The dramas of holidays!
Still, its lovely to get away for a wee break. I was looking at holidays abroad for easter but its far too expensive so I think we will just go to a hotel for a few days a few hours away.

Sorry my phone just froze there for ages

@coco thays great signs, im glad your cycle is 28 days now, means you dont have as long a wait and your body has got more regular.
And you were right btw, I had a super light negative this morning but just took another opk and its positive! It just shows you how important taking it twice a day is. I am so surprised that its came on time this month and especislly with the stressful weekend I had. I bet yours is here within the next couple of days too.
We dtd last night and then I lay on the bed for few mins with my hips and legs in the air (super sexy 😂) going to dtd and do the same tonight.

I was told about a series on netflix that is supposed to be really good and addictive, you could try, its called "somewhere in between"

OP posts:
Cocobana · 14/01/2019 21:05

@Mfbroome have a lovely holiday! Don’t worry about packing, you’ll get it sorted. I found I used to take too much stuff and we didn’t need half of it so I’ve learnt to pack a bit lighter in my older age 🤣

Cocobana · 14/01/2019 21:09

@MummyBearBoo aww 3 is a lovely age, ds is about to turn 2 and he’s the worst sleeper, I’ve only just got him to sleep and transferred him to his own bed. I’m hoping within the next few months he’ll understand bedtime better or am I just wishful thinking!? Dh says it’s his molars causing a lot of it but I’m not so convinced tbh! Hope you get your +opk soon and that your cycle goes well for you this month. 👍🏼😃✨✨✨

Cocobana · 14/01/2019 21:15

@Scarletrose18 yay that’s great news you for your +opk! Which cycle day are you on today? It just shows you how quick it can change. I’m on cd10 today and when I had the same symptoms last cycle I ovulated 3 days later. I’ll keep on with the opks.
Oh Somewhere Between is a great series, I watched it a little while ago and I was addicted!

Cocobana · 14/01/2019 21:17

Oh and 🤣 DTD with legs in air after lol I guess anything is worth a try, that’ll be me too! ✨✨✨✨✨✨
