Scarletrose18 · 14/01/2019 21:37

We dtd there and I put a pillow under my hips after so it wasnt quite so exerting to hold my legs in the air 😂 @coco

Yes defo its worth it, anything is worth a try. We will be in our tww together then 🙂

@Scarletrose18 it had its moments but overall I’d say no it wasn’t. Without giving too much away even though it has some upsetting parts it has a good ending and it’s def worth a watch. I’ve not seen the mentalist but I’ll look it up, thanks for the recommendation. I was watching the house on haunted hill or haunted hill house lol
I forget and always get the title mixed up! It was as a very creepy and off beat series but I enjoyed it, mind you i was balling my eyes out at the ending! I think it’ll be good to get into some good programs to help us relax this cycle.

Cocobana · 14/01/2019 21:43

appologise for my overuse of ‘good’ lol and so close together, I’ve had the worst headache today, I’m convinced it’s linked to ovulation impending but it’s prob just due to me not drinking enough 🤣

Cocobana · 14/01/2019 21:44

apologise*

Scarletrose18 · 14/01/2019 21:54

Could very well be, the rise and fall in hormones can give you headaches. @coco

Ok ill need to give it a go soon. The mentalist is light hearted but really smart if you know what I mean, its an fbi type one but I think you will like it.

Yes defo, I am going to ask my parents to babysit one night this weekend as we have a gift voucher to use for a meal. Keeps me busy and will be nice to relax

I’ll def look to watch that @scarlet thanks for letting me know about it. Aww that’s sounds lovely, a night off will do you the world of good, I’m so jealous of your free childcare! My Mam does offer but she’s not really in the health and ds is so used to me and dh I think he’d be abit upset, he doesn’t really understand who people are properly! Once he’s a little older and understands and is easier for my mam to look after I’m def going to take her up on her offer though as me and dh are literally dying for some time together like a meal or cinema! Smile

Scarletrose18 · 14/01/2019 22:33

And thank you for your reviews @coco 🙂

Sorry to hear about your mums health, is it something she will get better from or a degenerative condition? Its sad to see our parents getting older isnt it.

I remember you saying before that your other family arent close, you could try to give it a shot with your mum even just for a short lunch date or coffee date? would be good for you and dh to have some time together plus you may find it all goes really well then you could try a bit longer next time.

My mum has ds 3 of the days while im at work, so because of that, I feel bad asking her to babysit at night as well so we rarely get him babysat for dates. Normally ds just comes along with us for meals, we try to time it at lunchtime while he is asleep in his pram lol. so we are also looking forward to it, although we will prob spend the whole time talking about ds lol.

Ah a meal out sounds lovely @Scarletrose18, definitely a good way to relax! We have a meal and a cinema voucher we got for Christmas froms relatives so we're going to try and use that soon, only there doesn't seem to be much on at the flicks at the minute.

Also yay for positive OPK!! 🎉 By the way I stuck a pillow under my bum every time we DTD last month. 😂 The things we do! Its just worth trying anything really isn't it?

Ooh I quite enjoyed The Haunting of Hill House @Cocobana, I love a good ghost story!
Sorry to hear your mum isn't in the best health right now. Flowers I noticed you've said 'mam' a lot, where abouts are you from? Smile
Also it sounds like you're going to be ovulating any day now!!

Hurray for fertile week @Mfbroome, I've got my fingers crossed for you!! 🤞🏻
If I don't have any bumps in the road between now and then then I'll book a private scan for around 10 weeks (maybe sooner if I really can't stand the wait). I've been cramping more today, everything online says its totally normal but I just can't relax!! 😖

Cocobana · 14/01/2019 22:48

@Scarletrose18 that’s lovely of your Mum looking after your ds 3 days a week. It’s neither really but just ongoing, she’s in her 60’s and has knee replacements etc and looking after ds would just be abit too physical I think at the moment. I def think she’ll be able to babysit him for a little from time to time when he’s a tiny bit older though and abit easier to look after. Wow your ds sounds so lovely and placid, I wish mine would sleep in restaurants but the little monkey usually wants to run around everywhere lol he refuses highchairs now and they’re always so tiny aren’t they anyway; we have to take his booster seat with us it’s a right palava lol little tinker....Shock

Cocobana · 14/01/2019 22:52

Haha and I know what you mean @scarlet about spending the time talking about your ds. Me and dh are like that, the rare moment we have any time to ourself we’re talking about the little mr, we can’t help ourselves. It’s weird I see ds all of the time and want time to myself but then when I finally get a tiny bit if he’s in bed or dh has taken him out I miss him instantly!

Cocobana · 14/01/2019 22:56

@PastaSauceHoarder that’s sound lovely, gosh we’d love a meal and cinema just two of us, one day soon I tell dh. The down time will be great for you both before new baby. We’re thinking by the summer ds will be old enough for us to take to see his first movie at the cinema so we can’t wait for that and to see his little face. Haha yes I’m up north, how about you? How are you feeling @pasta?

Cocobana · 14/01/2019 22:56

that*

Cocobana · 14/01/2019 22:58

Oh and me too @pasta I love ghosty stuff but I always like to be abit cocky and think not much really scares me but then I’m seriously spooked afterwards when heading to the kitchen in the evening 👍🏼

Cocobana · 14/01/2019 22:59

🤣*

PastaSauceHoarder · 14/01/2019 23:07

Haha yes @Cocobana!! I love ghosty films and tv shows but I am stupidly scared afterwards when its time to go to bed - even getting up for a wee or a drink terrifies me just in case somethings going to get me, I don't know why I do it. 😂

Awh taking your DS to the cinema will be lovely! Does he like films at home? Smile
My local is showing a Hey Duggee special or something soon so I'm thinking about taking DD to that. She likes Hey Duggee but I'm not sure if she can withstand it in the cinema. 🤔 Theres apparently a Peppa Pig one out soon which she LOVES but it doesn't seem to be coming to ours, shame.

I'm from a little town right next to Chester. Smile

MummyBearBoo · 14/01/2019 23:38

You watch Teen Mom then @Scarlet - I’m pretty lucky really don’t find it too painful and don’t really get many of the symptoms. I gained weight recently but reducing my portion size meant I dropped 1st 1lb in 3 months - back to healthy BMI - mine’s unmedicated too and I do usually have fairly regular periods and have been pregnant twice. The only thing is I can’t eat much sugar as it causes insulin resistance I don’t have a sweet tooth anyway - I think it can be controlled with diet- brown rice and pasta instead of white and low sugar diet help!! Good news about your OPK too!

My DD is less tired st this age so some nights it been harder to get her to bed at 7pm but usually it’s fine and especially when she’s been at pre-school coz this tires her out! Does he still nap? My DD stopped 3 months before turning 2 and for a few months I struggled to keep her awake til bedtime but after she turned 2 it meant she was moody at bedtime but really tired so getting her to sleep was much easier and quicker (as long as she didn’t nap) now she’s older she’s not as tired so it’s being a bit harder again! Xxx

Mfbroome · 15/01/2019 09:22

@PastaSauceHoarder yes I have some ewcm today and lines getting darker so fingers crossed!
Bless u! It's hard when u cramp but you will be fine I'm sure it's everything coming together and growing! I had bleeding and cramps with dd and it was all co pertly normal- but it doesn't stop you from worrying does it 🙈 I always find a nice walk helps with cramps :) plus keeps your mind off of worrying ❤️ are u having any other symptoms also when was your AF due they say you sometimes you can cramp around that time even if you've conceived! 😘

Mfbroome · 15/01/2019 09:24

@Scarletrose18 I know I actually don't enjoy getting organised for 4 people for holiday it's such a bloody mission 😂 but when it's done I feel so organised and that is one good feeling lol.
How you getting on? You have +opk did u say!? Xxx

Mfbroome · 15/01/2019 09:26

P.s I loved haunting of hill house! How spooky were all the people in the background of certain scenes!
Very well made, can't say I loved the ending much though 😂

Cocobana · 15/01/2019 09:52

@PastaSauceHoarder @mfbroome I know I loved the haunting of hill house, the ending made me so emotional lol, I was watching it on my own and dh was looking over at me like Hmm at me getting all emotional over the ghosts lol. I know there was some seriously creepy background people, how scary was it when the little boy was hiding under the bed and feet came in! 👻😱
Aww @pasta hey Duggee sounds canny for your little one. Ah you’re from the North west, Cheshire is lovely! I’m up north too but the other side! How are you feeling today?

Cocobana · 15/01/2019 09:54

Ds is okay with films but prefers his little programs like paw patrol lol I think his concentration isn’t enough for a full film yet but we’re hoping by about 2&half/3 he may be ready for the cinema as you story4 is coming out and we’d love that to be his first proper film.

Cocobana · 15/01/2019 09:54

Toy story*

Cocobana · 15/01/2019 09:59

@MummyBearBoo your dd sounds like a good sleeper now. Did you find she slept better close to 3? Ds has always been super alert and fought his sleep. He always thinks he’s missing something and hates going to bed no matter what we do or what time we start his routine. He’s he same whether he’s napped or not and we can ware him out and he’ll still fight his bedtime even when he’s tired. He’s almost 2 and I’m hoping that closer to 3 we might be able to get him to go in his bed from earlier in the evening if we can do a sleep chart where he’ll understand abit better. He is having moor trouble at the moment so that could be making things worse at he moment. How are you opks going today? My morning one was alittle fainter this morning than what I’ve been getting.

Cocobana · 15/01/2019 09:59
