I’ve found your thread, for some reason it didn’t notify me! I’m liking the title!

Replying to your lovely message from the previous thread below: (I’ve pasted it across because it exceeded the limit!)

@Scarletrose18 😊 thank you so much for your lovely words...I’m touched. You sound like an amazing person too and I’m so pleased to have met you and for this thread! It really is helpful to have the support of you lovely ladies during the stressful process of ttc! It is definitely a different holiday as you say but lovely and peaceful, I found I would have liked to have gone on more of the walks and to have hired some bikes but ds was abit little at the time so I think once he’s a bit older it’ll be a great place to go back. The hot tub was definitely a plus as well and the cabins were beautiful, I would love to have gone at Christmas like you and to have escaped some of the craziness! I think chicken is great lol turkey is overrated anyway!
Wow that’s great that you’re considering being a SAHM once you’ve had dc2, if you can do it it’s well worth it because those precious years fly by so quickly. I always planned to go back to work but then the commute and the cost of childcare just wasn’t worth my while. The longer I spent witg ds the harder it became for me to leave him and before I knew it it had been well over a year! I now only do some little bits and pieces from home so it works out great.
Hmm it’s confusing isn’t it. How long was your luteal phase last cycle? I wonder if it will be the same this month and extend your luteal phase a little maybe.
I know exactly what you mean; I will be so disappointed if it doesn’t happen this month. I tell myself to relax and what will be will be but it’s abit disheartening when we’ve put all this effort into it. I really want a sibling for ds, he’s such a lovely little boy and loves other kids. I do have a good feeling for this month but at the same time I don’t want to curse it! I think you’re in with a great chance @scarlet you’ve DTD around ovulation and you’ve done all the right things. It’s crazy because despite the fact we don’t know each other I’ll be so happy for you if you get your BFP this month! 👍🏼😃✨✨✨

PastaSauceHoarder · 26/12/2018 21:11

Gods sake, I wrote out a bloody massive reply on the old thread only to realise it had been closed. 😂😂

Luckily I copy and pasted:

'Happy to hear you've enjoyed your Christmas trip @Scarletrose18, do you think you'll do it again next year?
I didn't host Christmas, we had a party on the 22nd so we'd done our bit already! 😂 We went to MILs, it was really lovely. She makes one hell of a good dinner, though out of the whole meal DD only ate bread rolls, pigs in blankets and ice cream. 🙄 Kids!

Yeah I googled it too but I'm not convinced, I was sure the first two days were positive but the more I look at the strips the more I can't tell. Confused We've DTD absolutely everyday so at least I know that theres not more that can be done.

I'd give anything to be a SAHM too, even though I do love my job and only work three hours a day Mon-Fri. What is it you all do? Smile

I've really got my fingers crossed for you @Scarletrose18! 🤞🏻 And all of you for that matter actually!! I'm really not feeling confident about this cycle.

Yeah I think the bottom two are definitely positive @Cocobana, but then before I took them I thought the two before it were positive too? God bloody knows. 🙄 How many positives have you had in a row now?'

PastaSauceHoarder · 26/12/2018 21:12

Oh and thanks for opening a new thread, @Scarletrose18! 💛

Cocobana · 26/12/2018 22:02

@pastasaucehoarder if it helps at all I had the same kind of confusing tests during my LH build up on CD16 which I thought were positive at first but I have now classed them as high LH but not quite positive. Like you I even had a couple when I first started testing after AF and then they would fade or be stronger depending on how much I’d drank. I’ve counted the really dark ones as positives as they were by far the darkest lines. I started getting the strong positives on cd17 into cd18. All together I’ve had about 6 as I’ve been taking about 3 a day trying to catch end of the surge to pinpoint my ovulation better 🤣 listening to my body I know ovulated yesterday due to cramping and lots of ewcm. I think the opks help but there’s a lot to be said for symptoms too. Have you had any ovulation symptoms that coconcided with your strong positive tests? It may help you better pin point when you think you ovulated.

Cocobana · 26/12/2018 22:03

PastaSauceHoarder · 26/12/2018 22:23

I've had the absolute tiniest cramps for the past couple of days so I think I definitely am ovulating. I don't have a lot of EWCM usually and lately I've been taking antihistamines (which I've heard can, um, 'dry you out' a bit) so I can't really go by that. 🤔 We've just been DTD as much as we can so hopefully thats enough.

I've never had them that dark before, I guess I'll just have to wait to see what tomorrow brings!

Scarletrose18 · 26/12/2018 22:33

@coco Yes defo, we managed a big long speedy walk with ds in pram but he got fed up near the end so we had to let him walk for a bit so it turned into a super slow walk lol. Yes a bicycle one would be cool! We considered camping next year with ds but not sure how that would go all of us trying to sleep in the same tent. Lol. Have you camped with ds?
Yes, I had a year maternity which was lovely but it was so sad going back to work. I dont understand why some people want to go to work rather than be home with their dc. So amazing that you are able to do that.. like you said, time goes by so fast.

I think it will be a lovely age gap when you do concieve. Your ds will be such a good helper! @coco

I ovulated on Sunday 18th November and AF started on 1st Dec so is that 12 or 13 days? I am due AF on Saturday/Sunday I think but as this will only be second one im not 100% sure

Lol. Its so strange ds eating habits change so much. Hes a great eater but has now recently decided if he doesnt feel like something or would rather play he spits it out... little monster. Has your dd eating got better as shes got older? Well pigs in blankets, breadrolls and icecream sounds like a great meal... good choices.

I think really dark tests is a good sign! It means there is alot of the hormone in your body... imagine if it was so dark because 2 eggs were released Pasta! 😃

I still have good vibes for us all this cycle.
Its great to have you all to chat to, because we are all in the same stage of life.
I have tried not to talk to dh too much about the tww and its been hard because its on my mind everyday.

Scarletrose18 · 26/12/2018 22:43

@pasta sorry didnt tag

OP posts:
PastaSauceHoarder · 26/12/2018 22:55

@Scarletrose18 DD does the same haha, tries something new and then spits it out immediately. 🙄 Or if I try and get her to try it she'll block the food with her tongue. 😂
She's definitely gotten much worse with her food as shes gotten older, she used to be brilliant! Now if it isn't sausages or chicken nuggets then she doesn't eat it, typical toddler. At least shes still fantastic with her fruit, she'll eat any kind of fruit you give her. Smile
Hopefully your DS stays a great eater and doesn't turn into a fusspot like my little monkey! 🙈

Awh, you can say whatever you want to us lot, we all know how you're feeling. Strangely I haven't been obsessing nearly as much as last month, maybe because Christmas has been a good distraction.

Wow Sat/Sun is coming up quick, I really hope this has been your lucky month!! 💛 When will you test?

Blueflower22 · 27/12/2018 00:13

Hiii guys! I didn't know we had a new thread. Let me just read and catch up

Scarletrose18 · 27/12/2018 08:19

I think ds is going the same way, he is realising he has a choice with food now. Sometimes I think it was much easier when all they drank was milk. 😂

@pasta Any more cramping or signs of anything? Ovia said AF due Sat but I have properly counted same LP as last month and I should actually be due AF on Monday.... I think. I will test tomorrow morning.

@blueflower Hi! Yes the old thread closed down because too many comments on it. How are you doing?

OP posts:
Cocobana · 27/12/2018 10:05

@Scarletrose18 your camping idea sounds cool; no we haven’t attempted it as i’m not sure I’d be brave enough!! Thank you, I hope so, I just hope it doesn’t take too long to conceive as I would still like them little together but what will be will be! This TWW feels like it’s going to go slow lol but I’m hoping New Year will help speed it up abit! That’s a nice luteal phase so hopefully it will be the same this cycle for you, gosh not long now for you to wait! Are you waiting for first day of what you think will be your missed period to test or will you be tempted to test early?
Hope your journey back home goes okay and that you had a lovely holiday!
Ds went through the same phase where he’s stick his tongue in way and refuse food. He doesn’t do that as much now as he’ll just whack plate or food away with his hands now cheeky monkey. He also spit things out when he can’t be bothered to chew them. I’m finding ds likes the eat little and often as he’s playing, he’ll take himself off to the snack cupboard and pull Cheerios, raisins etc out, I’ve had to move them up a shelf 😂 I don’t mind him snacking but if it’s too close to one of his meal it’s a no because it’ll put him off.

Hii @Scarletrose18 I'm okay thanks you? Tested again at 12dpo and got a negative. I'm fed up of testing now so not going to test again 😔

Cocobana · 27/12/2018 10:08

@Blueflower22 when are you due AF? Sometimes bfp doesn’t show up until the first day of missed period or up to a week later in some cases so don’t give up hope just yet! Flowers you can never tell when implantation may have taken place.

Blueflower22 · 27/12/2018 10:10

@Cocobana hi coco! I'm due in two days time. I feel frustrated like my body is letting me down 😭 hate it

Cocobana · 27/12/2018 10:11

Ladies ds is also starting to decide what to wear, he’ll pull seasonal inappropriate things out of his wardrobes and outright refuse certain items of clothes and not let me put them over his head! What happened to my little baby that used to love getting dressed!? Shock

Cocobana · 27/12/2018 10:14

@Blueflower22 your not out until af arrives. You’re still in with a good chance! Implantation can occur up until I’m sure about day 12 and then it takes acouple of days for the hormone to build to even register on a pregnancy yesterday. Just wait and see 👍🏼✨😃

PastaSauceHoarder · 27/12/2018 10:39

Haha @Cocobana, your DS sounds so sweet!! 😂 Thats adorable regarding the clothes. Its amazing how toddlers personalities grow a little more each day isn't it?

We lowered and took the side down off of DDs cot yesterday, so its a proper little toddler bed now. Putting her to sleep was an absolute dream because I could just climb in next to her and have a cuddle. Smile She went off instantly. I used to have to rock her to sleep and it would take ages as shes getting far too heavy!!

Hope you had a safe and easy trip home, @Scarletrose18! Was the cabin far from where you live?
No more cramps or anything, but DTD last night just in case. I'm looking forward to seeing a negative OPK today!

As @Cocobana said, you're not out until AF arrives @Blueflower22! I know it does feel fustrating though. Flowers

Cocobana · 27/12/2018 10:51

@PastaSauceHoarder thanks he’s a cheeky little monkey and certainly knows what he wants lol that’s for sure. Oh wow I’ve been wanting to lower ds’s. He’s not far of 22 months and still in his cot at moment and hates when I put him in there it’s always a battle. We have to transfer him once he’s asleep so I’ve been dying to lower it but have always been scared Incase he went wandering in middle of the night and hurt himself (I know it’s silly!) He hasn’t attempted to climb out of his cot yet but he can climb so maybe it’s time? How old is your dd again? I think ds would love it as a toddler bed so much better.

Blueflower22 · 27/12/2018 17:41

Thanks @Cocobana I'm keeping positive, had a bit of period like cramping today. What's new with you?

A question for you guys, do you guys breastfeed or bottle feed ?
