I got my positive opk on the 18th and im counting that day as ovulation day so today im 12dpo, if my LP is the same as last month then AF is due tomorrow. BFN again today. With DS I was 11dpo when I got my bfp but not even a hint of a line today, just stark white so I would say chances are, im out. 😕

@Scarletrose18 thanks, i think ds is having a sleep regression because of a developmental milestone, I think his talking is really coming on so it’s probably that! He was sleeping a lot better than this before Christmas and hopefully will again (or so I keep telling myself lol) he is happy enough and full of beans.
I wonder if your luteal phase will lengthen and push your af back like it did mine last month. Don’t give up hope. Also you could have implanted earlier with your ds and this time it could have been alitte later. It says online that come people don’t get a bfp until day of missed af or up to a week later. No two pregnancies are the same. I know with ds I got a faint line in the evening of first day of missed af but had negative the day before. You’re still in with a good chance ✨✨✨😃👍🏼

Thanks @Scarletrose18 - I agree @Cocobana - with my first I tested 4 weeks after my last period ( I was having 6 week cycles so essentially tested 2 weeks before ovulation) because I was going on a hen do to Spain and just wanted to make sure we weren't, so I could drink, even though we weren't trying and got a BFN - I still hadn't come on three weeks later and my boobs were really tender and changed shape I turned out to be 6 week pregnant! So I was pregnant when I had my BFN so don't lose hope!!

@coco my ds sleep changes with milestones too. Im sure it will pass in a week or so. I hope so for you as well, its tough to function without a proper nights sleep.
Its all very confusing. AF started on 1st December and so this is cd30. I was always 28 days, maybe same as you were and just settling down after stopping pill. What are your plans today?

You said your dd is 3 now, what is life like with a 3 year old? Is she alot more independent now?

Thank you for your positivity ladies. Sorry for going on about me quite a bit...This is only cycle 1 trying so I really shouldnt complain too much 🙂

She's 3 at the end of Jan she is more independent(and so bossy) and goes to pre-school 2 days a week so I finally get to go to the Gym! We still go to ballet and music class so still pretty busy - she is still clingy occasionally and loves cuddles - I actually get some ironing done as she will play by herself for a bit but with no naps I don't ever get a rest when she's not at school and she is growing so she is always hungry! She dropped her naps when I got pregnant last October and I was so tired all the time so it was difficult!

@MummyBearBoo gosh that must have been such a surprise but a lovely one all the same. It just shows you that you cannot rule anything out until AF has put in an appearance. Aww 3 is a lovely age, ds is almost 2 and seems to be coming along nicely with his speech at the moment, he’s babbling a lot more and some little sentences, some that make sense and some that don’t, their little voices are so cute! I think I’ll see changes in ds within the next year. Did you notice a big difference from 2-3?

@Scarletrose18 there are so many milestones, I never realised before having ds all of the sleep regressions and everything that they go through. I always hear from my Mother that I always slept through 12 hours when I was little and she had her whole evening to herself lol ds must take after dh! Ds was always very alert as a newborn even and has always fought sleep. I’m looking forward to when he understands a little more as I will be able to set up a sleep chart with stars and get him a little nighttime sleep kit with a torch and gro clock etc to try to bribe him to stay in bed 🤣 little rascal!
Do you think tomorrow may be the first day of your missed af? It’s looking promising because you haven’t had af yet so there’s still hope! I’ve just been food shopping today to get some things for New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day. How about you?

Awww I cant wait to see my ds being that age with more personality... Its so hard to imagine then growing up and being any other way than what they are now. No naps must be really tiring for you. @MummyB Great that she has a good appetite lol

Thats a good idea @coco bribing them is always good. Ds doesnt really talk much yet but understands everything so I always bribe him "if you eat dinner you can do this etc" always works 😂🤣 Been helping family moving and clearing things out again. Has a glass of wine with dinner 🙂 I have cramps low down so prob AF on way. Yes if LP same as last time then AF due tomorrow. When will your tests arrive?

Hi @mfbroome how many dpo are you now? Have you tested yet? Iv been getting bfn so kind of accepted this isnt my month.

So much changes everyday I think her speech changed most between just before she was two and being two coz she went from a few words to full sentence pretty quickly and singing nursery rhymes and using words like absolutely and definitely (in the right context I blame Charlie and Lola books for this). I think the biggest change was her confidence and being better at playing on her own and with other children as they all understand each other at this age - she used to get frustrated when she was younger when she'd try and talk to her cousins who are 3 month younger than her as they weren't quite as good at speaking (coz it changes so quickly) and they couldn't talk back!! They do now tho but her being a girl she bosses them around! When they start speaking properly it's so funny coz they start saying things you say which you don't realise you say!

Also her hair has grown so much longer!!!

Hi @Scarletrose18 been thinking of u lots! When is AF due? I feel it coming lol! BFN for me yday and I'm not bothering again now I don't think will wait and see! I'm pretty sure I'm out as I was so ill we Defo didn't DTD enough around my positive OPK.. but that's okay! Fingers crossed for 2019 hey :)

My 2 dc loves every second! Father xmas was so magical this year my ds was gobsmacked 😂😂😂

Just having a little scan back of messages and I have to say @Cocobana your totally right, you never know how things are going to go! I had my mind set on breastfeeding! I tried so hard but it was draining the life out of me no matter how hard I tried I just didn't produce enough and I had to make the decision to stop 😭 i was feeding dd about 10ml of pumped milk and topping up 100!! This was for a few weeks.
Then with ds I was adamant to try again and it was exactly the same- 4 weeks down the line he was so hungry! Even after a cut tounge tie we tried more...I had 3 bouts of mastitis and a 3 year old to contend with, major mummy guilt but I had to give up!
Formula saved me and my babies lol. But both my best friends breast fed from the minute of giving birth right through to 18months with no struggle... you just never know :)

@mfbroome Yes was amazing, we went away and stayed in a cabin just the 3 of us so was all really chilled out. Ds had a blast. When is your skiing trip? Is it February?

Aww sorry you have got a bfn too. When is your AF due? Mine is due tomorrow. I have felt really sad today about it all. I know weve only started ttc but still its sad to get bfn. But next cycle for BFP, here we come 🙂

Yes skiing in Feb! I'm just shopping for ds ski suit... he'll be 3 so his first year to ski 🙈😩😩😩😩 I'm anxious haha! Boys just seem so much more like babies than girls 😂😂😂

Yes I was super positive about December before now lol. So will need to get my positive vibes on again for Jan. I still have positive vibes for the other ladies in their tww. @coco @pasta @MummyB 🙂

Hi @Mfbroome -hoping we all get BFP in January!!!
Hopefully my 3 lots of bad luck are done with and I'll get pregnant with a healthy baby soon!!!
1 poorly baby along with the complcations afterwards then the most terrifying thing ever happened on Boxing Day this year - DD was downstairs with daddy but husband starts shouting me saying she wants mummy - I go downstairs she's in his arms all floppy he's trying to get her to stay awake- all colour drains from her lips and face is grey lips start turning blue she then is unresponsive so I call 999 they send an emergency ambulance but luckily by the time they get there she is awake, responsive and her lips are red again but she's still pale- we went to Leeds GI - they do a load of tests inc an ECG they can't find the cause said it could happen again but no idea what caused it!
Waiting for the results of 11 week scan twice with a 50/50 chance of baby being ok was terrifying this was sooooo much worse! Surely I deserve a bit of good luck now!! I was terrified but grateful at the same time she's been ok since!
On a lighter note hot tub in a cabin sounds amazing glad you had a great time @Scarletrose18 and hope you have a good time @Mfbroome! - if it stays at spotting could be implantation bleeding!?! I'll find out next few days if I'm out or not - AF due 2nd/3rd?! Xxx

My dd is 5 :) this will be her 2nd year at ski school she's coming along nicely but obviously it takes her a few days to get to where she was before she left last year.. she's so grown up now though being at school so I'm hoping she will have more patience with it... xxx

Hi @Mfbroome, I'm glad you found us!! 🎉 Your Christmas sounds magic, I'm excited for when my DD starts to understand Father Christmas, it must be amazing!!

Your skiing trip sounds lush, not long now. ⛷ I managed to sneakily convince DH to take us on a big trip to London in the summer, I'm so excited! We haven't got any family holidays coming up (DH has one planned with friends) and I haven't gotten pregnant yet so no lovely due date to look forward to (🙄) so this at least I now have something fun to put in my calendar!

Ahh sorry about your BFN, when are you actually due AF? And oh no about your spotting @Scarletrose18, do you usually pink spot before AF?

Ooh what are you doing for New Years, @Cocobana? I well reckon I'm out this cycle as I've been drinking a lot a little bit over the Christmas period. 🙄🍾
