So I'm not due to ovulate for 2 more days but according to my Cm I probably ovulated yesterday (2nd month in a row I ovulated early) last month I missed ov because I started dtd after I think I ovulated whereas this month I started a week previous which ended up only being a couple days before!! So I think I'm about 1dpo and starting the tww!! Anyone fancy joining?

Merry Christmas to all! 🎁🌲

@thosethreewords @WildFlower2019 looking forward to Saturday! I've been super bloated today and was having unreal night sweats last night I think I woke up at least 4 times soaked through! Awful! Then today I had such a bad stomach ache so bloated and a bit of back pain in the afternoon. Had to fly for 10 hours today as well so not the best 😓 just hope it's preg symptoms so the pain was worth it!! Xx

Thank you @thosethreewords, @wildflower2019, @workinprogressmum and @thejollytrolleydolly.

@sa11zza I agree that you shouldn’t worry too much if you’re not bleeding. I’ve been having back ache too.

Wishing you all a happy new year (I’m having a very quiet one!) and good luck for those testing in the morning (I’ll be with you, I’ve resorted to supermarket cheapies now!) xx

Daisy726 · 31/12/2018 22:02

@jollytrolleydolly oh I’ve been sweating too! It’s so gross isn’t it! Surely these are good signs though. Hope you’re managing to get some rest now after a long shift.

thejollytrolleydolly · 01/01/2019 17:09

@Daisy726 I've got a batch of ics knocking about so I'll probably have a sneaky poas before the weekend just to get it out of my system but I'm saving the frer for Saturday! Yes I got a nice lay in this morning thankfully! Treated myself to a glass of champers last night then slept in ☺️ it was delightful! No night sweats last night thank god! I don't want to have to keep changing the sheets!! 😂😂 happy new year x

I had a glass of fizz too Smile.

Started the year with another BFN, argh! I am so impatient. Work should hopefully distract me for the rest of the week. Still feeling really sick and tired though with stomach twinges x

Tilly94 · 01/01/2019 21:33

Hi all,
I’m very new to this so bare with me.
I ovulated on the 28th December (according to my clear blue fertility monitor) and am also in the TWW. We DTD 26th,27th and twice on 28th so hopefully we get a BFP this month. This is our 4th cycle TTC and I’ve only just got to grips with my ovulation as I was going by my app previously which was slightly late by a few days. I’m only 5dpo but had terrible cramps yesterday. I’m going to try to wait to test until 8/1/19. My fingers are crossed for everyone on here TTC, baby dust xx

workinprogressmum · 01/01/2019 21:46

@Tilly94 fingers crossed for you too lovely!

Testing again tomorrow. If it comes back negative I might lose my mind. Been feeling so ill!

Good luck with your weekend testing party :)

Xx

thosethreewords · 01/01/2019 22:41

@thejollytrolleydolly that sounds awful. Hope the flight was ok. I've felt less than ideal today - really on edge and a bit dizzy maybe? Still so thirsty all the time. I'm back to eating pretty normally so not sure why I'm so thirsty or if I'm just reading too much into everything.
Something really weird happened to me today. I ordered some cheap pregnancy tests from amazon and it said delivered on my orders. The parcel didn't have pregnancy tests in though... it had a kitchen sink plug in it instead?! Which I didn't order!

Daisy726 · 01/01/2019 22:55

I’ve just started bleeding Confused. I have everything crossed that this is implantation but it seems too late to be that! Oh no.

Daisy726 · 01/01/2019 23:18

@thosethreewords that’s so odd about the plug! I hope they either refund or send the actual tests to you soon!

workinprogressmum · 02/01/2019 01:29

Sorry to hear @Daisy726 :(

thosethreewords · 02/01/2019 07:06

@Daisy726 I know!! But I really would like my cheap tests so I can use them from tomorrow. Maybe. Or I should just hold out and be good!

workinprogressmum · 02/01/2019 08:17

Just looked up how long it took me to get a positive test 5 years ago. Conceived Christian eve, felt ill a week later and positive test didn't show up until 13th January.

Been awake most of the night with nausea and sore boobs. No sign of AF. If this is working to a similar pattern, I won't get a positive until 9th Jan!

Are cheapies the best to test with?

thejollytrolleydolly · 02/01/2019 09:45

@Daisy726 oh no!! When was af due? Hopefully it's just a bit of implantation bleed 🤞🏼

@workinprogressmum that sounds like a really good sign then if it's the same as last time! The cheapies are good if you're unsure wether it's too early to get a result or not because they are fairly sensitive (obvs not as sensitive as a frer) but they can get the testing out of your system until you miss a period and can use a frer because they are expensive!!

@thosethreewords that's so annoying! I hate it when your amazon order gets mixed up!! And to get a plug instead? 😂😂 will you have time to nip to the shop and get a cheap one? Your symptoms sound a lot like mine. Super tired, bloated and the dreaded night sweats came back last night 😓 gross! Also have a really dry throat every night when I get into bed and end up chugging loads of water then desperate for a wee!! Annoying eh?

@Tilly94 fx for you! Do you want to join our testing party on Saturday? Welcome to the thread 😁 xx

workinprogressmum · 02/01/2019 09:48

@thejollytrolleydolly thank you lovely :) just wish I was one of those people who got a quick result!

Daisy726 · 02/01/2019 10:16

I’m due on Friday! There was a lot of brown blood this morning which was a bit distressing and I’ve got really bad cramps and nausea :( has anyone else ever had this and had BFP?

thosethreewords · 02/01/2019 11:48

@thejollytrolleydolly I know! What a random replacement for my tests!!!
@workinprogressmum that's really interesting that it took so long for your test to be positive. I ovulated on Christmas Eve so probably way too early to test at the moment then!

thejollytrolleydolly · 02/01/2019 11:52

@workinprogressmum I know, I wish you could just have sex and then find out the next day... it would make things so much easier!! 😂

@Daisy726 I really hope it's not af but if it is at least you can plan to start again ❤️

@thosethreewords I already caved and did a sneaky cheapie this morning to get it out of my system haha! Of course it was a bfn as I'm only 6-8 dpo but it was like scratching an itch you know? 😂

OP posts:
workinprogressmum · 02/01/2019 12:03

@thosethreewords I think my body is just weird! I've been googling and lots of people don't get positives til a week after AF is due. Remember being confused by it last time and thought I'd just missed a period. Only tested because I was going out drinking and then found out!

@thejollytrolleydolly exactly! Would be so much easier!

thosethreewords · 02/01/2019 12:48

@thejollytrolleydolly yes I think I might have to scratch that itch this lunchtime too!

Frillyfarmer · 02/01/2019 13:20

Daisy726 were you on the pill and if so when did you come off?

With my first, I found that my periods and PMS symptoms were so different after coming off the pill, so the symptoms you have could just be your natural cycle? Fingers crossed for your BFP though.

I’m now 7DPO and work is not creating enough of a distraction from constant symptom spotting and googling!

Daisy726 · 02/01/2019 14:11

Hi @frillyfarmer, yes I was in September and went back to my 28 day cycle quite quickly, with no symptoms except on the day of AF. So my current symptoms and bleeding are not usual but they definitely could be part of me coming off the pill. I’ve been feeling sick for weeks now with exhaustion and no appetite.

Work isn’t proving much of a distraction for me either sadly! Hope you find out soon and I hope this bleeding is just heavy IP (the timing is right for it if it is) xx

pattimum93 · 02/01/2019 14:23

Hi all,

New here and just after some advice. I got married in December and went straight off on honeymoon - we aren't actively TTC but I'm not on any contraception and weren't the most careful either while we were away.

I am due AF on Saturday (5th Jan) but for the past 3/4 days have had extremely tender, swollen feeling boobs (even rolling over in bed causes discomfort). I don't usually experience this on the lead up to my period.

I haven't had any other symptoms of potentially being pregnant aside from a couple of waves of nausea (but have also got a cold at present so being blocked up might have caused this).

I did an early detection First Response test earlier today and it came back negative however I feel something is going on as it's just not normal for me.

I guess now I'll just wait and see if AF does come on time and if not, do another test but sort of feel in limbo now and thinking it's all in my head!

TIA Smile x

thejollytrolleydolly · 02/01/2019 17:10

Hi @pattimum93 welcome to the thread!! Only time will tell for you as really sore boobs could still be a sign of af as I know once or twice I have been in complete agony with my boobs a week before I'm due adamant I was pregnant but then af showed. On the other hand it could just be that you get a late positive test as that is also quite common! I know that's probably not much help so I would suggest you waiting to see if af appears and if not do another test!

Let us know how you get on - not long to wait!! ❤️

OP posts:
thejollytrolleydolly · 02/01/2019 17:15

@thosethreewords go for it!! It's pointless but it always makes me feel better haha!

@Frillyfarmer not long until you can test then! Do you want to join us testing Saturday morning?

@Daisy726 fx it's implant. I've read that sometimes it's quite heavy and people mistake it for a period. The same thing happened to my friend and she now has a 5 yr old xx
