@MrsEG LOL at finishing the advent calendar! I had a soak in the bath after work and have got my PGs on now, ready for a chilled out evening in front of the tele. DH is even cooking dinner :o

@DuchessofPemberley glad to be able to help! I'm trying to be much more chilled, if it doesn't happen at least I'll be able to enjoy a tipple over Xmas and on my 30th bday (silver linings). I'm just hoping if AF does come, she isn't too late!!!

@MrsLBear I had cramps this month, which was unusual for me! I don't temp or use OPKs, so have no idea if that correlated with my O day or not! Flo reckoned I ov'd the day after though, so we shall see! Christmas Day can't come around quick enough so I can either test or AF arrives and I can get over myself and crack open the Prosecco!

I've been quiet lately because I'm struggling with this whole thing. Still trying, but know our chances are slim before my op. Hard to be enthusiastic about my prospects, but I'm still keeping up with all your stories. ❤️

Omg @starkid @FlapJackered I've had a cough for what feels like months and I've been trying to lay there after with a pillow under my bum (I know it's probably a myth but makes me feel better than I'm really trying) and I've had to suppress my coughing cos otherwise it would be game over 😂

Did you do a IC OPK tonight @starkid? I always get confused cos I did one when I got home from work. Given I didn't hold my wee for long and I did drink something and I didn't dip I just held it in and it was negative in terms that the line wasn't as strong as the test but it was still clearly visible. Is that maybe just remnants of LH in my system? This is why I don't like ICs cos they aren't a clear yes or no.

@Scotslass55 it's so funny to think how little our OHs know about the chats we have on here. I love it!

@GemmaJen I'm no pro but I tested from cd7 this month. What OPKs do you use?

@MrsAW2018 I totally agree that we are overdue some. Fx for everyone and that Christmas or 2019 brings us all BFPs!

@MrsEG the amount of times I've done that. I've even driven to the gym before sat in the car park on my phone and thought no thanks I'm going home. I call it listening to my body 😂😂

@MrsR16 yeah I've never had them before and I've actually been quite uncomfortable all day. I have this awful feeling (knowing my luck) that maybe af is coming early but then I had a static smiley Sunday so can't be but it really feels that way. I can't believe I've never noticed them before if this is o pain. Fx for your BFP on Xmas day!!! What an amazing present that will be! When's af supposed to be due?

@MrsLBear - I did another cheapy amazon opk at work today around 2.30pm and it was a massive negative, not even a hint of a second line, so I think the peak clearblue one from Sunday morning was correct! Shall be dtd tonight... but yeah, odds probably not in our favour unfortunately. Weird bloody body suddenly changing it up after 4 months haha

@cupcakesandglitter oh it's December after all. We are all allowed to over indulge a bit this month.

@starkid you never know though I read somewhere just a second ago that you can still catch the egg even after the egg has been released so I think you're still in for a good chance. Fx for you!
I just checked my OPK from when I got and it looks like this - pic attached. That's pretty much a positive isn't it? I'm defo not DTD tonight - feel like you did last night.
I must admit they are confusing me cos I got my cb static on Sunday morning like you and now a stronger IC than yday. So I've not ovulated yet then I'm assuming?

Thanks for your help ladies! Good to know I am not the only one! I just had a tonne of ewcm and thought it might have been sperm but after much googling definitely ewcm. 😂 I am just hoping there were enough swimmers to get where they need to go!

@ValidUser sorry you're having a hard time. When is the op booked for again? Hopefully there is not too long a wait, although as we all know even two weeks can feel like a lifetime so I understand how difficult it must be ❤️

@cupcakesandglitter I am with you on the wine! I can already feel my liver crying a little bit and we haven't even reached Christmas yet. 🍷😂 I am going to try to be good until Friday to give my body a break before the onslaught (much easier said than done at this time of year though 😂)

@MrsLBear I get ovulation cramps a few days before ov but then occasionally I have had really bad ones on the day I ovulate.
Are you temping?

@ValidUser hopefully the op goes well though and that you're recovery is speedy. Sometimes having some quiet time is good for you especially during this journey ❤️

@FlapJackered yeah I do temp. Temp was still down this morning so I guess I will be able to tell tomorrow morning. It's like I wish by my sleep to see what my temp is. God I feel sad. Have you O'd yet this month? I find I get ewcm a good few days before I O and then it turns super watery! So glamorous!!

On the bright side, my ovaries are not as geriatric as I thought (AMH pretty ok). I have one tube that can be encouraged to work. DH has good swimmers. And I'm 28.

And as a comedian stated on something I was listening to earlier, "the average person has one Fallopian tube."

(I know the statistic includes men, but it was oddly comforting.)

@MrsLBear might give them a try 😊 that looks like an almost positive - compare it to your next one in case your surge is overnight x

@FlapJackered honestly 😂 I actually feel really really sick now so I think I'm gonna give it a break too 🤢 (I have a tiny bit of mulled wine left... let's see how long it lasts 😂)

Seriously feel like crying! This was negative yesterday BFN no line at all. For some reason just looked at it now and there's a line...why is this all so cruel 😫😫😫.

@DayDreamer1707 Oh please don’t be upset! As far as I’m aware the result is only accurate in the timeframe given on the box - once dried sometimes a line can appear (which is just cruel!) - if it is a worry I would either get a FRER to double check or go to your GP for a urine and blood test to know for absolute sure. You must be going through hell with all this. Keep us posted x

@DayDreamer1707 This is the guidance I found on the Ava fertility site:

An evap line (evaporation line) is a faint line that appears after a negative test has dried. ... This is why the most important rule for getting a true positive pregnancy test is: do not read them after the allotted time! The results are only accurate in the time frame specified in the instructions.

If you really are unsure (and I’d be going mad too!!) I would check with either a FRER or with the GP just so you can completely put your mind at ease either way ♥️
