@DayDreamer1707 I get the odd twinge around ovulation (kinda like a dull pulling feeling) but nothing painful.

@stormtrooperjulian So pleased to hear you’re feeling so positive about AF! It can be so nice to know our bodies are behaving! You can get right on to trying again now in Jan!

@EltzBee Sorry to hear AF is coming, and glad you are feeling so positive too! Jan will be a bumper month for TTC!!

@DayDreamer1707 very very random 😂😂 it's a guy singing about how his love is too scared to leave him because she doesn't love him anymore, but doesn't want to hurt his feelings, so he's telling her to go and that he promises that it's okay and he loves her etc etc.. I don't know wtf I'm doing crying over it like I'm going through heartbreak... bloody hormones 😂😂😂😂

@stormtrooperjulian I know right!! I was so confused by the 'super light' period! lol

Yeah got to keep positive! I've had 6 months of getting upset and actually trying my best to keep positive now :D

@stormtrooperjulian @EltzBee I am totally with you on being excited for proper periods. It took a couple of months to get mine back to normal after I started synthroid.

@FlapJackered hurray for timely dtd! As I'm trying not to put pressure on DH and not tell him about when I ovulate, here he is with "so when are we going to do the baby making?" 😂 I should ovulate Saturday or Sunday, definitely planning on dtd the day the temp rises. I can't get out of my head what @Crossfitgirl said about their one time dtd on the day of the temp rise.

@DayDreamer1707 I get the poke/pull pains you describe after the O. And if they're one - sided free you describe, it's even more of a sign that you ovulated. At this point it almost sounds like you might not have ovulated before your spotting, the spotting wasn't your period, and you have ovulated on what you thought was CD6. Even if you don't/can't temp daily, I'd temp for a couple of days, it'll tell you where you are in your cycle.

Wow I thought I had it bad working till Xmas eve (I have to go in and do something xmas morning but I think it can wait till Boxing Day) hats off to our emergency services. Nice that you've got the rest of the day off though!
So jealous you're finishing today @FlapJackered! Such a relief when temp goes up isn't it! Like you can relax with finding time to DTD. I've actually learnt a lot from you re fertility supplements defogonna give them a try to get my cycles to be a bit shorter (or get O to move forward as I think my LP is too short)

@MrsR16 You gotta try these aldi ones. Just a hint of Christmas and loads of buttery goodness! And they are minis. Just had 2 with my tea.

Ugh I'm being irrational a friend of ours has just said they are 10 weeks pregnant. Obviously I'm so happy for them but part of me just wishes it was us in that position. Stupid aren't I

@MrsH497 sending hugs, it's so hard when people we know announce they're pregnant. That and people saying 'When are you going to have one?' You're NOT stupid at all, we're all in that same boat, it is an emotional rollercoaster.

Thanks @EltzBee only got 1 friend who knows we are TTC and she knows this other couple so don't want to tell her how I'm feeling.

@DayDreamer1707 it looks puzzling 🙂 Try temping for a few days. I'm definitely more inclined to think you ovulated a few days ago, and you can just wait for the TWW duration, but, personally, I'd be too impatient.

@MrsH497 so totally understandable!! I know exactly how you feel. We all want it so much, it's hard not to be a bit jelly when a friend announces.

However, it has been shown that being around pregnant women (and babies) can boost fertility and get all the right hormones surging! So I reckon you go hang out with this friend, like, ALL the time. ha ha!!

DP and I are TTC baby #1. We have had a couple of months where we haven’t actively tried for a baby, but haven’t used contraception either. Although I may have initiated more around when I may be more fertile(!)

New year is when we are going to actually try. Im CD26 and usually have a 28ish day cycle. Not feeling anything out of the ordinary at the moment, and don’t think we dtd enough this month to give a bfp. So here’s hoping for 2019! Xx

You guys are going to need a new thread soon! Wow it moves fast! @flapjackered will you leave it there or try one more time today? @katbecool yes it's the only month we dtd after ov rather than just the days leading upto, whether it was coincidence I don't know! I'm totally doing the same thing next time we try!
@kittiekath @mrsh497 so many of my friends got married and got pregnant like a month or two later. I hated them all! You can still be happy for them but it doesn't change that it hurts that they have what you want so much. Your time will come. Not everyone's journey is that easy, some could have been trying years or had mcs before announcing, you just don't know. Everyone at my work was popping them out and I was so jealous, until I found out one had 5 MCs before her successful pregnancy. It can be so tough.

If it makes you feel any better, everyone who moved from here onto the pregnancy thread feels like shite 😂 it's a nausea fest filled with ginger tea and sickness bands...

@MrsH497 It’s very hard. My sister and best friend both had babies this year. I’m so happy for them and adore their babies but I just wish I was part of that club!!

@EltzBee I can’t stand the ‘when will you have a baby?’ question either especially as I had a MC this year. Such a loaded question and I just wish people would mind their own business!

@Crossfitgirl Hey lovely!! Oh bless you! My sister had HG from 7 weeks to 7 months... so I feel for you! She actually missed Xmas day last year as she couldn’t even keep water down so just had to stay in bed!! FX it passes for you soon! Hope you are keeping really well other than that :)

I'm new to the forum. Been TTC since February this year and no luck so far. In the last few months I've started taking various supplements: folic acid, DHA omega 3 and CoQ10. I found out about CoQ10 on Luisa Zissmans blog and she recommended 900mg per day. I've recently been to a herbalist and when I asked them about CoQ10 they said they recommend only taking 200mg. I'm a bit confused by such a vast difference in the recommended dose and when searching online I can't seem to find that much information on recommended dosage. Just wondering if anyone else uses it and if so the dose they take? Thanks

@MrsEG oh totally; gets absolutely on my nerves as they don't consider at all the emotional heartache that could be there!

Cramps still there this afternoon, just waiting for AF tomorrow or Sat...Did do a quick test this morning and it was bfn as expected (I know, I succumbed!)

@cupcakesandglitter - I feel you on feeling tearful about random stuff, ever since coming off the pill in May I've been so much more emotional/teary! I was welling up at the adverts (not even trailers) at the cinema recently

Everyone has enjoyed asking me if we're planning to ttc soon, whether we want them, how's it going etc. I'm just honest about it and people are usually nice about it. Can be hard when they're like 'oh it'll happen soon I'm sure', but I prefer that than pretending I'm fine and dandy not having them to people.

@starkid isn't it a pain? Anything sets me off, so difficult. I remember having the implant out and OMG I was crying at EVERYTHING!! I think it's good to be honest if you have support from people, I think it's good to get it off your chest x

I'm having pain around both ovaries today, really getting on my nerves. Feeling slightly UTI-Ish but then also not when I pee. God knows what's going on, I didn't want to think about it at all 😡

@KatBeCool i think I ovulated the other day too as I had lots of CM (sorry tmi) now not as much just this weekend twinge.

Still having my lower left pinching pain 5DPO. If my days are right I could test Boxing Day possible but only gives me a cycle of about 18days which can't be good.

How is everyone else feeling...anyone feeling like a BFP is coming 🤞🏼
