Starting the TWW - anyone want to join ?

So I think I'm in the tww, had a positive OPK on Monday afternoon and negative since so think I may be 1 or 2 dpo

Not sure we've done enough this month so will be surprised if it does happen .

Anyone want to join me in the wait?

I am! It's our first month trying and didn't use ovulation sticks (rectifying that next month!) so I'm guessing I'm about 4/5 days dpo.

I don't like this waiting business!

It's awful isn't it ? 😣 This is only our second month but last month it felt soooo long . My last baby we conceived 1st month so I totally convinced myself itd happen again lol. I also got a few faint lines on cheap tests which obviously weren't positive so I've told myself I'm not testing this time til AF is late and will only use a decent brand !

The wait is so so long ! So let's use this thread to update each other !

Am I the only one who works out a new due date every time a new cycle starts ? 😂 I was so sad to have not caught first month trying , it would have meant the 12 week scan the week before Christmas and I was looking up loads of cute ways to do a Christmas announcement ! Oh well 😂🙈

@Regina I do the same thing!! I've already decided I'd have an early private scan this cycle if it works so I can tell family at Christmas!

Haha @mseddy glad it's not just me ! I was thinking the same as I'd be about 9 weeks at Christmas. Although I'd likely not be able to keep it a secret til then, I told my immediate family at like 4 weeks last time 😂

May I join! Positive opk today so will be starting the 2WW tomorrow. This cycle is dragging, feels like it took forever to get here! (Cd18)

@ReginaPhalange89 no you're not the only one. I think if I've worked it out correctly if I caught this cycle then I would be 12 weeks on New Year's Eve!

4dpo here, first cycle TTC DC2. It's going soooo slowly! Hope you're holding up well during the wait!

Anyone symptom spotting yet? Think I'm only 2/3dpo so too early for anything over here !

@reginaphalange89 - omg I've daydreamed so many cute Christmas Day ways to announce to friends and family! I was thinking about getting my parents and in laws little cards saying "you're going to be a grandma" (will be the first grandchild on both sides).

I'm on CD 22, and I think I'm 10 days post ovulation so planning on doing a first response in the morning. Feel sick with nerves! Need to calm down!

At first I was super positive as my boobs swelled and went puffy and painful, but they've calmed down again now, and my cervix is definitely low, hard and closed :( Been mad symptom spotting with bouts of lightheadedness but I think I'm just not drinking enough water!

Trying not to do any symptom spotting as it's too early for me too really, but it's so hard not to read into everything going on with your body, isn't it?!

After getting a positive opk yesterday morning, we bd'd with conceive plus. Got another positive opk this morning but then negative this afternoon so I'm wondering if I ovulated today at some point - I did have sharp pains in my abdomen on the right hand side. Will BD again with CP tonight and then I'll officially, finally, be in the 2WW! Can't wait to turn mental 😛

@MakeAWhish same as me with the positive opk yesterday morning using CP. Plan on bd again tonight too just to be sure as well. I guess it's hard to pin point ovulation exactly after that. What cd are you on? X

It's so hard not knowing when you kvulafe too isn't it ?! I wish there was a test that told you exactly when lol

I use an app and update it every day, it had my fertile window as normal showed when I expected to ovulate and then suddenly it's changed the days and made it look like we had sex too late 🙈 but hopefully not. I think the original dates where correct 🤞

It's so hard not to get your hopes up when it's happened quickly for you in the past ! We only had to do this for one month last baby, so I'm getting my hopes up that'll happen quickly this time again which is probably silly, setting myself up for disappointment

@mrsof20118 I'm on cd19! I have to wait ages for O. What cd are you on? Last month I didn't ovulate til cd23 after a CP the cycle previous.

Same here @ReginaPhalange89, I was pregnant second cycle with our first, so part of me has taken for granted that it will be as straight forward this time around. Like you say, both setting ourselves up for disappontment - but hopefully not!!

@MakeAWhish cd15 for me today. Was also late last month around cd19 after chemical the previous. Then af came rushing in at cd27!

Yep @ReginaPhalange89. Sat here thinking is it 12 or 36 hours after the surge. Was it the beginning or the end of the surge. Going to dtd again tomorrow as third day in a row drom opk then having a rest! X

I'm out! AF has just arrived; 9 days early?!! I'm never early! Plus we've just moved house, its 4am so I can't find my super duper painkillers! Onto the next month!
