Starting the TWW - anyone want to join ?

So I think I'm in the tww, had a positive OPK on Monday afternoon and negative since so think I may be 1 or 2 dpo

Not sure we've done enough this month so will be surprised if it does happen .

Anyone want to join me in the wait?

Hi im on cycle day 22 and reckon I'm 7 dpo so on the 2ww, this is 1st cycle trying with preseed and opk's so fingers crossed. I'm feeling nervous that it won't happen 🙈

@showmethegin - how heavy is it? If it's that early could it be implantation bleeding?

I tested this morning, BFN. That single line was really staring me in the face. Gonna test again tomorrow morning to be sure as it's super early and then AF is due Tuesday so I guess that will confirm it!

Think I'm gonna get some opk sticks for next month, Ive just been using an app but I think it just calculates trends and maybe that's not the most reliable.

@MakeAWhish and @LongLegsStarryEyes I thought maybe implantation as it would be around the right time. But how much would that be? I'm not as heavy as normal by any stretch but I thought it was usually just a few drops? Might be totally wrong though! Also it was very red and I read that it was usually brown or pinky?

Saying that it is very very early for me so keeping everything crossed still! If it was implantation when could I test do you think?

Sorry to hear of early BFN, definitely test again when you're ready, it may have just been too early?

Also I bought 50 OPKs from amazon for £7 to try with next cycle so probably worth a try for you too? If it is AF then I'm more all over the place than I thought going to throw money at the problem!

I think it varies, mine with DD1 was pink when I wiped and that was it. My sister bled lightly for a day or two with her DS2.
I think you can test a day or two after implantation? So maybe 9/10 DPO with an FRER?

@MakeAWhish thanks. It seems to have stopped now! I swear I never had this complicated a cycle until we agreed to ttc! Typical! Hope all is well with you

@showmethegin its an exciting development though isn't it, in the knickers checking madness of TTC 😂 I really hope it's your lovely fertilised 🥚 burrowing in. All good here. 1DPO and just got a delivery of FRER. So bummed that I can't pee on them yet 🤷🏼‍♀️

Ordered my OPKs, will test again tomorrow morning just in case!

If we're playing the counting game, a successful next cycle would mean 6 weeks at Christmas, probably a bit early to announce anything but if I start avoiding prosecco it's going to be super obvious!

I'm on cd26 but looks like I ovulated quite late. Got a smiley face on Sunday (cd21). I've never gotten a positive ovulation test before since I gave up on them like 2 years ago (my other pregnancy was unplanned).

So was very happy about that. But then I got this horrific UTI on Monday morning and have been sooooo sick all week and on antibiotics... So not too hopeful about this cycle now 😔 and I can forget about symptom spotting because it's all just coming from being ill haha!

@MakeAWhish it is exciting, makes it all feel very real! I'm definitely having af now. Let myself feel disappointed for 5 minutes now onwards and upwards!

@LongLegsStarryEyes you're not out until AF arrives! But I totally get you, it's so heartbreaking seeing those awful BFN's.

Just found out that my DH is working away for my next fertile window. So now I feel like I have even more invested in this cycle! First preseed and last chance of 2018 to try!! I'll be devastated if I get my period this month :( only 4dpo so a looooong wait ahead!

This wait is an absolute killer ! I'm only 4/5dpo , feel like it's dragging in haha. I also got really drunk last night, does anyone feel guilty drinking when they're in the tww? It was a special occasion and i haven't had any alcohol since July so I didn't want to not enjoy myself just in case !

My brother and SIL are trying right now too, only recently found out they have been for a year now without any luck. I'll feel so guilty if I fall pregnant quickly !

The wait is definitely a killer! Symptom spotting like mad - yesterday I was ridiculously tired all day and peeing like a racehorse! About an hour ago I had a slight dizzy spell walking downstairs. Only 6/7dpo so I know it's probably all in my head! DS has been under the weather and has come into our bed in the early hours then kept us awake coughing every night since Thursday, so that would explain the tiredness at least! But you can't help but hope, can you...

I bought a FRER yesterday, any recommendations as to when I can use it and get a true result? Only came off the pill last month so not really sure when AF is due.

@ReginaPhalange89 I wouldn't feel guilty or worry at this stage. If you have conceived it's still too early for it to have any impact I believe. I think they day drink until it's pink?!

With my last baby I had a super faint squinter at 10dpo and a proper line the next day !

Last month I had internet cheapies and started testing at 8dpo 🙈 told myself I'd wait til AF is due this month but I feel like I'm gonna end up getting some more cheapies. I'm so impatient

Hi can I join in please. Had a positive OPK on Thursday but by Friday it was a lot fainter. We DTD on Thursday/Friday and I used preseed for the first time. I feel I have built this month up so big in my head so I am going to be so disappointed if it doesn't work. I've arranged a big night out on Saturday as a last hurrah for us because we are trying and it will be another 2 years before I go out again 🙈 so I want to hold off testing until after then. You're not alone @ReginaPhalange89, I tested yesterday with an internet cheapie even though I knew it would be negative! Why do we do this to ourselves?!

I will not symptom spot, I will not symptom spot definitely not totally reading into feeling like I'm going to vomit on and off all morning. Because that's impossible at 6/7dpo (totally ignoring the fact I 100% felt ovulation cramp both sides this month, and now talking my self into early symptom spotting as there could be two!) Send help for my crazy mind please!!!!

@mseddy oooh fingers crossed for you ! I've no idea if sickness is possible this early or not. Do twins run in your family?

I'd have loved twins first time round but now that we are trying for baby #3, I'd die if we ended up with 4 😂
