Starting the TWW - anyone want to join ?

So I think I'm in the tww, had a positive OPK on Monday afternoon and negative since so think I may be 1 or 2 dpo

Not sure we've done enough this month so will be surprised if it does happen .

Anyone want to join me in the wait?

@Regina nope! I'm sure it was probably just one of my overies joining in in a celebration squeeze as the other popped an egg out! But it's got my symptom spotting hyped up to the max!! Yeah twins first time round is much simpler! Haha

@Mseddy Keeping everything crossed for you! Have no idea where I am now because I got af, then thought it was implantation, then was adamant it was af and then it just stopped so back to thinking implantation again! I can't stand this waiting around! Shock

I used an internet cheapie again today at 7/8dpo. BFN, of course. Why, why, why do we do this?? I've gone back to feeling sure this won't be my month though. A couple of you posted up thread about feeling a lot is riding on this month for various reasons, and I feel the same. DS is starting school next Sept and if this month was successful due date would be end of July (or a week earlier if I need another c section, which is likely) - but if it doesn't happen this month then I'm pretty sure the sensible thing would be to skip the next two cycles as they'd be super close (either side) of DS starting school, and I'd feel terrible not to be able to give him the attention he deserves at that time. The thought of not trying again until Feb is soul destroying so it cranks up the desire for a good outcome this month! Sorry for the monologue but I've thought about this so much and it's driving me nuts!

Well I ended up ordering 20 internet cheapies to arrive tomorrow 🙈 lol! I'm only like 6dpo today so I'll try and hold out til 10dpo..... But I said that last month and caved at 8dpo 😂😂

Stay strong!! I'm not going to test again until Friday when I will use my FRER, or that's what I'm telling myself anyway... We can do this!

I'm exactly the same, I have no idea when to test now because of the whole 'is it af or is it implantation' thing. I have one FRER so I'm tempted to just use it. But if it was implantation (on Friday/Saturday) then it would still be too early wouldn't it? Gahhh

I’m only a few months into TTC but the waiting it’s driving me insane! About the days until AF is due and I’m trying so hard to keep myself occupied until I can test!

Maybe try and hold out until Wednesday @showmethegin? This is where we definitely get the raw end of the deal, I bet the mens' heads aren't wrecked like ours are!!

I'm gonna try and wait till Wednesday and see what happens then. I also need to start my opks; that's how messed up and confused my possible AF has made me!

Welcome @StaceyKJ333! @RosieStarr no none of mine are either. Helps to be able to talk about it, I'd drive DP mad otherwise! What I'm annoyed about is that af might have showed up so early that it's made me wonder when to use opks etc. If my cycle had just stayed the same I'd know what I was working with if you know what I mean.

I've spent 13 years of my life thinking just one missed pill could get you pregnant that it's a bit of a shock how complicated it actually is!

Ladies im on need of advice. What signs do you get when ovulating from fri until today I have had ewcm. Is this a sign im ovulating or about to? Help im so confused

Haha yeah men seriously don't even think about it do they ? I said to my OH earlier... "Eek only a few more days til I start testing" and he said oh you haven't really gone on about it yet this month 🙈😂 I was obsessed last month. Literally POAS every day and obsessed over lines and kept asking his opinion lol

Im on cycle day 12. No haven't used opk's this month after our chemical last month. We did the deed Thur Fri and Sunday im hoping that may be enough. Think I have scared poor hubby off telling him that we need to get cracking everytime I notice something when going the loo lol x

@ReginaPhalange89 when it's our bodies it's so hard not to obsess over it. I'm still getting small pulls and twinges on right hand side. Could smell someone's cigarette smoke when walking earlier and it was so strong which was one of my symptoms before but again could be in my head

The 2WW is such a head fuck. I know it's too early to get symptoms (4dpo) but I'm second guessing everything. Argh!
@mrsof20118 resisting so far, but have promised myself I can do one little IC on Friday morning at 8dpo 🙈😂 What DPO are you now?

Hi all! 10 DPO here. I think. Thereabouts anyway. I'm going to wait to test until the weekend.

I thought I had like a 100 early pregnancy symptoms in my first days after ovulating, until I learned that there is simply no such thing before implantation. And now implantation might have happened, and I feel exactly the same as I do normally around this time a month. Hormonal acne, vaguely achy. Preparing for a BFN. Hoping for a BFP.

It's our first. My best friend had her second yesterday, and oooh, I want it so much.

There's additional pressure for us. I have an autoimmune disease and have to be off my meds for this entire time - they're especially dangerous for baby in the first trimester. Every cycle we fail to conceive I run a higher risk of getting a flare-up and having to interrupt our TTC journey. Or if it is bad enough, I might never get a chance again. So yeah, trying to be absolutely cool, la-di-da.

@showmethegin I did! A 6dpo, with an IC! So totally 100% impossible to show anything other than a BFN! But there is something about POAS that makes me feel in control so I did it anyway! Plus I have 30 IC's and I'm not going to need them next month as this is my month so I may as well pre on them. (Can you tell I'm trying the whole think positive thing?? Haha also just ordered an ovusense so clearly not thinking that positive!!!)
