@Delilah7 so sorry you're feeling worried lovely. It must be so tough and I can understand how difficult it must be to feel positive about it. Try and distract yourself as best you can and try to tell yourself it will be ok, which I am sure it will be! ❤️

@ValidUser 😂 I was just about to congratulate you and did a double take 😂😂
Sorry for af lovely. Keep that positive attitude for cycle 5 though! 💪🏻

@EltzBee Good to hear they are getting you tested! I am hypothyroid and the weight just doesn't go on the way it did before I started my meds.

Delilah7 · 12/11/2018 20:12

@FlapJackered I'm trying Hun ❤️❤️❤️

@ValidUser sorry for the AF. Try to keep positive; I know it’s hard!

@Delilah7 try not to worry too much - I know it must be so difficult but just one more day and you’ll have those results!

I got a flashing smiley yesterday and solid smiley on my OPKs - delighted I’ve ovulated so soon after my MC in October :) Going to just try to relax for this cycle and try to just enjoy the fact my body’s recovered to quickly. I was so worried about it!

mrsof20118 · 12/11/2018 20:46

@Delilah7 try to stay positive there is nothing to indicate that there is anything wrong. Easier said than done I know.

KatBeCool · 12/11/2018 20:56

@FlapJackered I actually gained a bit of weight since starting the thyroid meds. Hoping it's temporary. It's almost Christmas and I am very much in the mood to bake all the time. I can't be gaining weight from every bite I take. Also... Christmas tree is out and house is decorated! Hubby and I love Christmas.

Crossfitgirl · 12/11/2018 21:15

Where have all these posts come from??? Lol! Soooo much catching up!

For those of you trying to lose weight, there's only one way to do it, and that's to use more energy than you take in (i.e. a calorie deficit) have any of you seen this guy? He is amazingly funny, but a lot of his videos actually have some really blunt truths and honest facts and advice about weight loss! Well I think he talks sense anyway If you look through his videos, and dont blame me if you're offended 😂😂😂 i just love the straight talking.

Don't get me wrong though, I'm the first person to try every fad diet out there! Lol!

@delilah7 I would be terrified and I would be thinking the exact same things as you. You're a worrier, it's what we do! And im sure it's natural to feel like that after a MC, I imagine I would feel the same. You're doing great, I hope you get your scan sorted soon xxx

Rachael321 · 12/11/2018 21:29

Another day over and I survived not testing! Not long til Friday... 🤞

SophiePie · 12/11/2018 22:00

Mind if I join?

Cycle #3
Trying for baby #1
Age 27

4 days late and multiple negative tests. No idea what's happening but trying not to get my hopes up just in case

MrsR16 · 12/11/2018 22:15

Welcome @SophiePie 😊 I hope we can be a good support for you!

FivexFive · 12/11/2018 22:16

Hi all! Had my review at work today, I'm getting a pay rise, more holidays and a some more responsibility :) Celebrated by getting some new frillies and got a few Christmas presents! Hopefully it will stand us in good sted if we are successful in having a little one :)

How are my ladies?
@Delilah7, get some rest, sending positive vibes your way xx
@Crossfitgirl, how's work going? Have you started that mindfulness course? X
@ValidUser, sorry to hear about af. She's a biatch isn't she?! Maybe you'll get a special bfp Christmas present come Dec... xx

Crossfitgirl · 12/11/2018 22:29

Aw @fivexfive that is awesome news!!! Congratulations! And new frillies... I love it!! Work is going ok thank you, I start my new role in January and yes I have started the mindfulness course - at the moment it's listening to meditations daily, keeping a journal, and that's what I'm off to do now- a bit of relaxation before bed! I will post the most useful bits once I have done the 2nd week tomorrow :-)

Welcome @sophiepie good luck, you're not out til she comes!
@validuser don't let the witch get to you, have some gin and onto the next cycle :-)

SophiePie · 12/11/2018 23:05

@MrsR16 Likewise! Hope everyone here gets what they're wishing for

Crossfitgirl · 12/11/2018 23:28

@katbecool Xmas tree up already??? It's not December yet!! Haha!
@flapjackered how is SMEP going this cycle so far? You did so well last cycle - think we can both keep it up? I have to admit it was quite hard work!!
DH is away this week but back at the weekend and I think that's when my FW starts... and HOPEFULLY new house! If so, totally using christening the rooms as my excuse! Lol xx

KatBeCool · 12/11/2018 23:34

@Crossfitgirl it's December inside of our house 😂.

SophiePie · 12/11/2018 23:39

Please excuse the dusty binder!- decided to take a test late tonight as FMU/SMU were all negative. Just wanted to ask for your opinions- I'm not sure if I see the faintest line ever or if I'm just hoping too hard. DH thinks he can see it too but I need to stay skeptical

TTC FIRST BABY THREAD NO.7
cupcakesandglitter · 13/11/2018 00:18

Woah this thread moved so fast again 😓

@Crossfitgirl would that happen to be James Smith? I fucking love him 😂😂😂😂 calorie fucking deficit is the only thing I say to stop myself from snacking - and he does talk so much sense!!!! X

mrsof20118 · 13/11/2018 06:29

@SophiePie I can see one!

Crossfitgirl · 13/11/2018 06:59

@cupcakesandglitter yes!! Lol his content is brilliant isn't it!!
@sophiepie I do see a faint line. How many dpo are you? Xx

Delilah7 · 13/11/2018 07:43

@MrsEG just a pain in the arse when doctor said they'd be ready tomorrow. But results today and scan in two days! Xx hope you're ok

@mrsof20118 I need to think more positive otherwise this negativity will be with me throughout the whole pregnancy xx hope you're ok

@Crossfitgirl thanks darling. It's on Thursday so we will see what that brings! Hope you're ok x x

@FivexFive had a very early night last night so I'm hoping that helps. Hope you're ok x x

Doesn't help ladies I'm hating work atm :( xx

@KatBeCool I normally figure it's the time of year to get some extra padding for the cold months anyway, and I am massively against dieting at Christmas!
I LOVE that your Christmas tree is already up! I am itching to put it up but will probably wait until last weekend in Nov as otherwise it seems to start dying by Christmas 🎄😬
I kill all plants despite my best intentions 😂

Welcome @SophiePie that does look like a line! It could it be you ovulated later than you thought? Maybe wait a few days and test again with a frer?

@FivexFive congratulations lovely! That is great they will pay you more and give you more holidays! Win win!

@Crossfitgirl Smep is going gooood so far thanks darling! First flashing smiley today so I'm hoping O isn't too far off!
Have you exchanged yet on the house? You must be so ready to move now! Good plan with the christening of rooms!
Feeling positive for us this month! 💪🏻

Hadaley · 13/11/2018 08:15

I'm freaking out! CD26 and I got a positive OPK on a Clearblue Digital this morning (they are 40ml, so not all that sensitive). I thought I ovulated 11 days ago (CD15) because I got a positive digital then as well, but that would have been super early in my cycle, since they are usually about 35 days long. So maybe I didn't ovulate at all, and we haven't been BDing at all in the past week because I was so sure I was post-O and we've both been very busy with work.

But I guess I am ovulating now instead. WTF. :(

FlapJackered · 13/11/2018 08:31

@Hadaley do you temp chart? If so that will show you if you have ovulated. If not I have heard opks can pick up hcg too? Maybe you should do a hpt just in case? Are you normally regular? Dtd anyway just to be sure!

Hadaley · 13/11/2018 08:41

@FlapJackered - I don't temp. I have irregular shifts / night shifts, so I didn't think it would work for me. I might try next month anyway.

I'm not super regular, no. My cycles have been 35-36-33 in the past three months. In 2016 I timed them for a while as well, then they were always between 29 and 32, so I did think it would not be completely weird for me to have a shorter cycle this time around.

I know OPKs can be positive when you are pregnant, but it would be early for that. I guess I should test just in case.

DH won't be home until late tonight so I am afraid we will miss it :(

FlapJackered · 13/11/2018 09:07

@Hadaley even if you Dtd tomorrow morning you might still be in time. It is so frustrating when the timing goes wrong isn't it, it feels like we wait for so long for those few days and invariably either it's the one day of the month it's not possible to Dtd or your body decides to ov on a completely unexpected day! 🤞🏻for you x

Hadaley · 13/11/2018 09:16

I'm just so bummed. Ovulating on day 27... that would mean something is indeed wrong with my fertility. :( And I'm not sure how long I can safely TTC. I kinda needed to be in the half of female population who conceives within 3 months. I could cry right now.
