Hello Smile

Thought I would start a new TWW thread for those of us just entering, or soon to be entering, the TWW

I’ve been TTC#2 for 12 months now (DS was 1st cycle no trying required) and really need some positivity that things will get there for us soon.

What has everyone been trying to get their sticky BFP?

This cycle we have given ConceivePlus fertility Lube a go along with Seven Seas Trying for a Baby pills.

I have also said “sod it” and gone back to eating whatever I fancy, having a beer when I fancy it but have cut down to only two coffees a day.

Good luck to us all Star

(also any of the original TTCers from the Nutters thread still on this board?)

Had my first smear last week and I promise you it's easy Starry1234 and completely unlike childbirth so don't worry! All they do is put in a speculum (dont worry its small) and take a small swab (which you don't even feel). FX for you

Ladies congrats to all of you who have had BFPs (or possible BFPs!) This is so grrat and really giving me hope :-)

As for smear tests, really nothing to worry about. The only time mine was ever slightly uncomfortable was when I really tensed up, but otherwise they are fine :-)

Pickingflowers · 25/10/2018 10:03

@Starry1234 I know... November seems so far away. My app says I'm due on 2nd but the data is messed up after mc. I used to be average 27day cycle, now it says 30, so who knows.

I don't feel at all pg this morning so losing hope a bit. Boobs not sore at all in the mornings and crampy feeling is gone.

Don't worry about the smear btw, I panicked over my first but just try to relax, it doesn't hurt at all, just feels a bit funny.

Congratulations @RMarieClaire !!! I was always too scared to do a digi as I knew they took more HCG to get a positive so that must be a strong positive for you x

Tefiti2 · 25/10/2018 11:27

How many dpo is everyone and how are you all feeling?
8dpo here and not holding out much hope for this cycle - although we DTD every other day through fertile week, I have got zero symptoms apart from sore boobs (which I get normally!)

TwittleBee · 25/10/2018 12:58

Tefiti2 7dpo here, right boob killing, still cramping and still have some EWCM today. Feeling very sleepy and hungry too. Really am excited for this cycle as we tried a few new things and it's 12 months of TTC!

Tbf though Tefiti2 most women don't actually get any symptoms till past their AF due date. Many reckon symptoms in the TWW are just psychological

Just POAS and ocf BFN! Ffs I am too desperate for a BFP this month. I think I'm going crazy

OP posts:
Belmo · 25/10/2018 13:32

TwittleBee I poas at 3dpo this month - madness!!
RMarieClaire congratulations!! That is very conclusive Grin
So I woke in the night for a pee and tested at 3am (ridiculous) - totally negative. However this morning’s fmu attempt (attached) came up in the time frame, has a definite tinge of pink in it, and it’s visible to the naked eye.. very hard to get it in a picture but I think it’s more believable than yesterday’s.
I’ve just got home and done another one with very hydrated wee, and to the untrained eye it looks negative- I can sort of see a line when I tilt it under the light!!
I am dying to see a proper line on a proper test, but think I’ll hold on for the weekend.

Another TWW - BFP at the end for us please!
TwittleBee · 25/10/2018 18:53

I can certainly see a squinter on that Belmo ! Good plan to try to wait till weekend, hopefully you'll get a clearer BFP by then!

Both boobs are killing me now, I feel drained and so so hungry. Not felt like this since my last CP so trying hard to not get over excited considering I got a BFN on the internet cheapie this morning

Thistle86 · 26/10/2018 06:59

Just tested at 11dpo with fmu on a Tesco hpt and got a bfn - af is due next week. Really don’t think I’ve caught this month, only dtd twice in fertile period 1st on ovulation day 2nd time 2 days after that as dh was away a lot. I don’t have many symptoms now either. If no af by this time next week will retest then but good luck to everyone else x

Tefiti2 · 26/10/2018 08:01

Ooh @Twittlebee those symptoms sounds very promising!! Much like the ones i had before my previous BFPS! When are you going to test next?
Sorry @Thistle86 - it’s a rollercoaster! How many cycles have you been trying?

Going to head to the GP when AF comes - that’ll be the beginning of cycle 12, so much the same as trying for a year, and see what the next steps are

MrsNK · 26/10/2018 08:11

Morning! For those of you who have had previous BFPs, do you remember how many dpo you were when you experienced any symptoms? I’m either 6 or 7 dpo and feel absolutely no different. Don’t know whether I’m being too hasty but it’s making me feel like I’m out this month 🤷‍♀️

TwittleBee · 26/10/2018 08:51

MrsNK with DS who was unplanned, I know I started feeling symptoms at 6dpo which is what made me test at about 8dpo.

With my CPs it's been the same.

But then, I also feel like I have similar symptoms months I get BFN so maybe all in my head now 🤷‍♀️

Some women don't get symptoms till way past their AF is due and some lucky women have barely any throughout whole of pregnancy 🤔

Thistle86 don't be too disheartened, some women don't implant till 12 days so you might be testing too early still. FX!

I think I might buy an actual FRER today to test on Sunday Tefiti2 I don't think DH will trust the ICs. Hope your GP offers some good advice and help. Mine was useless.

Ah @RMarieClaire that is such fantastic news!! Congratulations! I am out this month sadly. Next month 🙂

Lubilu28 · 26/10/2018 11:58

4 dpo and I’ve had cramping since ov!! I know it’s not a symptom as I had the same symptom my first month ttc! Just wish there was a sign that we had so we knew we were deffo pregnant!!

Keeping busy tho as redecorating my DS’s new bedroom but that’s almost finished and then what am I suppose to do to keep me distracted 😫🤣 xx

TwittleBee · 26/10/2018 12:25

Sorry to read you are out MrsMargot FX for next month for you

Wish there was a sign too Lubilu28 2 weeks goes so quickly when not TTC but it's like time slows!!

Pickingflowers · 26/10/2018 20:12

Thanks for the tip @TwittleBee I picked some up this afternoon and just tested after holding wee for ages. It's a BFN though.
I'm 11 DPO but supposedly 7 days til AF if I believe my app, though cycle messed up after mc so is saying 30 days, not the usual 28.
But I'm probably out aren't I? 😢

TwittleBee · 27/10/2018 05:42

Oh hopefully everything might have shifted for you and you'll implant later Pickingflowers FX

Well BFN for me this morning so clearly symptoms in my head

OP posts:
PineappleC · 27/10/2018 08:20

So I'm only about 2dpo and am getting loads of twingy crampy feelings (Also had them a few days ago before ov). I know it's nothing pregnancy related as far too early, but has anyone else had this just AFTER ov? Bit worried in case it's an early AF - only been off the pill for two weeks and wanting my cycle to go back to normal!! 🤔

Pickingflowers · 27/10/2018 09:48

@TwittleBee remind me how many DPO are you now? Might still be too early? That's what I'm saying to myself to keep up the hope.. another BFN this morning so I'm going to have some wine with dinner later.

@PineappleC it sounds like your ovaries waking up again as they get back to normal. I got loads of twinges and it got quite painful. If I'd been ttc straight after coming off it I would have been thinking there was something wrong with me.

TwittleBee · 27/10/2018 12:44

I'm 9dpo Pickingflowers so yeah still early but just feel stupid now as my right boob is killing me and left boob is bit achy too urgh I don't want it to be in my head! Good idea about the wine tonight, might join you on that!

PineappleC hmmm could just be ovulation pains and your body getting used to ovulating again like Pickingflowers said. I would take it as a good sign that your body is doing something!

Thistle86 · 27/10/2018 18:17

@tefiti2 this is my first cycle trying but I have an almost 4yr old son whom I unexpectedly conceived on my first cycle previously despite having pcos. Not expecting it to as quick this time.

@twittlebee my af is due Monday based on my tracking dates on Ovia app. Currently cd34 and average 32-36 cds when on implant and before. It’s possible I’ve tested too early might wait till Monday. No pre af symptoms (usually major sugar cravings & stomach pains) and my acne was early so it’s a bit odd. Also feeling nauseous when hungry - possibly nothing but i don’t know yet.

Wouldnt there have been a very faint line at 11 days on a Tesco hpt if I was pregnant? There was nothing at all. I do have another test ‘in stock’ but don’t want to potentially waste it. What do you think?

TwittleBee · 27/10/2018 18:55

Thistle86 you can implant as late as 12dpo so you might be implanting today or tomorrow or even if you implanted yesterday you might not have enough hormone yet! FX

OP posts:
TwittleBee · 27/10/2018 18:56

Oh and I'd wait till Monday if you can hold out! Always most accurate on day of missed AF
