Another TWW - BFP at the end for us please!

Thought I would start a new TWW thread for those of us just entering, or soon to be entering, the TWW

I’ve been TTC#2 for 12 months now (DS was 1st cycle no trying required) and really need some positivity that things will get there for us soon.

What has everyone been trying to get their sticky BFP?

This cycle we have given ConceivePlus fertility Lube a go along with Seven Seas Trying for a Baby pills.

I have also said “sod it” and gone back to eating whatever I fancy, having a beer when I fancy it but have cut down to only two coffees a day.

BFN again this morning. Feel stupid but I'm sat here in tears over it. I know I'm not out till AF shows but I really just want to see a BFP and a sticky one at that so badly now. I swear all around me are babies and pregnant women 😭

So sorry @TwittleBee - TTC effects us emotionally in so many ways, it’s very hard! Try and have a self care day today?

Spotting and boobs gone down here which means AF shall be here tomorrow!

Sorry to hear @TwittleBee it's so upsetting when you've had strong symptoms, it really gets the hopes up. Still not out though...

Hi everyone it's currently Day 8 of flashing smiley face and really starting to think that I missed my surge and started testing too late with the clear blue digital I started testing about two weeks ago with boots ovulation strips had a few days with one line and then last Sunday I had this (Photo attached) I only started using my clear blue on the Sunday after I'd got the two lines and I think I've missed my surge on the digital as I was only testing once a day, and obviously still keep getting the flash until it detects the surge which I think I've now missed! The boots strip ties in with my app that I've got, it's a bit of a tricky one as it's my first month off BC so I don't know the length of my cycles etc, but if that's all correct then I would currently be in my TWW, the last week I've had lower back ache, a few cramps, bloating and today I feel a bit nauseas AF I think due around the 3rd Nov so next sat 6 days away, what do you guys think? I'm just so confused 🙈

Thank you Tefiti2 I have a lovely family day planned luckily and seeing my sister whose come back from living abroad so that be nice at least. So sorry you know AF is coming tomorrow. Why is this so bloody tough!

Pickingflowers thank you. I guess it's just PMS being extra strong this month is all! How are you doing?

That pic you attached MrsP4 is so super close to being positive. You could have either missed it or your body is trying to ovulate. Not everyone gets a positive on OPks even if they do ovulate. Also you might only have a few hours window where you will get a positive result (mine goes from negative to positive in a few hours so I test at least twice a day!). Good luck!

@TwittleBee Thanks that's what I'm thinking, I think I may have missed the surge but DTD quite a bit last weekend so hopefully I'm in with a chance, not getting my hopes up just trying to stay positive xx

@Starry1234 9DPO and it was pretty strong too, we'd really tried this month, used clear blue ovulation kit and conceive plus, I actually convinced on the 15th day of my cycle and I've been told a lot that's the day to dtd!

@TwittleBee I've had an ok day, hope you're feeling alright. Just took a delivery of more Conceive Plus and some FRERs so I'm all set for next month now 🙂 (who knew Amazon delivered at half 7 on a Sunday)?!

Only 2 days til af is due and I've been so good, haven't been sympton spotting and haven't been looking out for any little twinge and the 2 weeks has went by so quickly, and it's been great not obsessing, but then today I noticed I usually get sore boobs about 10 days before af but that hasn't happened this month which is really strange but they have became quite painful today. Probably just af on its way so not getting my hopes up that it means I'm preggers. But there's always that little voice in the back of my mind saying "what if" anyway good luck to everyone still waiting. Ur all in my prayers xx

@Crazydreamer I've been quite good today after 3 BFN in a row, now 13 DPO I think but now got a horrible sicky headache I had last time i was preg and 13 DPO. Dunno why my body is doing this to me :(
Sounds promising though if you've suddenly noticed it? Oh fx for you x

I hear u I feel like we have been trying for so long and it's never gonna happen, usually I'm checking nappies looking for cramps that could be signs of implantation, a feel a little bit sick maybe morning sickness, scrolling the Internet for early pregnancy signs...
It's so so mentally draining, haven't done it this month tho and it's been so much easier, I fell with my daughter so easy, but I'm with a different partner now and she's 13. So yes fingers crossed.
Splitting headaches is an early sign I remember from my 1st, so hopefully that's a sign for u. Fx for u too. It's so hard having no control lol xxx

Pickingflowers that's so bloody early! I suppose delivery drivers are under so much pressure these days. Does sound promising about your headache, hope it's not a bloomin trick of your body!

Crazydreamer sounds like a much better way of getting through the TWW, how did you manage to not think about it? I need tips lol

Have you ladies seen the fertility tests in Superdrug? I've attached a pic. I'm tempted to buy them just to see if things are okay with us.

@TwittleBee it was half 7 at night so I was super confused who would be at the door! Oh those fertility tests are tempting. I think I'd be scared though because if it wasn't a perfect result I think that would really stress me out as, well, what then? I think if we don't get preg again soon-ish (though no idea what my timescales would be on this) there's a private clinic near London Bridge that do couples tests and it's not crazy money.
@Crazydreamer nappies haha, I was confused for a sec when I read that. If only there was a really easy way to tell. Still got headache and another BFN this morning- I've never seen such a stark, white box 🙁. Off to work now after a week off and I hate it so much! Not feeling good this morning. Just keep thinking if we'd kept the first baby I'd be 13 weeks now.

So im due my af in 6 days. I had a cb early test lieing around so I though I'll take it this morning. Bfn!! Bit disheartened as thought I might just get a faint line as we've used opks this month and I got my peak. We had sex 2 days before my peak and on the day. I know I'm not out till af arrives but feel a little disheartened this morning

My af reared her butt ugly face this morning so I am out for this month for definite. Not sure it will happen next month as DH has announced he’s away working during some of my fertile window. (This happened last month too) 😕

Haha oh okay at night makes more sense Pickingflowers as I was thinking surely many people would still be in bed lol! Yeah actually I might go and see my private GP who helped me post birth seems NHS doesn't want to know me. I'm so sorry it was another BFN for you too and how you've got those sad thoughts going on as well

Starry1234 if it helps, most people don't implant till post 9dpo and it can take a couple days to then have it picked up even on a FRER!

What's the best pregnancy test to use I've got clear blue digital with the weeks but haven't used them yet as AF not due until Friday, would any be ok as I'm testing on the day of missed period or should I get an early one? I don't know if these are signs of anything but I've had terrible bloating the last couple days and woken up with a headache I think I'm roughly 8DPO

Sorry to see some BFNs going on. I'm not holding out much hope myself tbh just want this week to hurry up!

MrsP4 yeah save that CB digi one till at least AF is due. Try and get yourself a FRER (just make sure it isnt a Rapid Response one!) if you do want to test early! FX

@twittlebee ohhh ok I understamd. I thought I was in a good chance of maybe getting something as I've had cramping on n off for the past week. But nothing that can really confirm it because its only be very slight and I've experienced implant pain before that was quite painful. Well I've got 6 days left to wait now. Tryjnf not to think too much of it now

@twittlebee just out of curiosity why not a rapid response one?

Starry1234 the rapid response ones aren't sensitive at all, they are different to the early response. I think the early ones pick up something like 10mui levels whereas the rapid response ones need something like 25mui
