Another TWW - BFP at the end for us please!

Thought I would start a new TWW thread for those of us just entering, or soon to be entering, the TWW

I’ve been TTC#2 for 12 months now (DS was 1st cycle no trying required) and really need some positivity that things will get there for us soon.

What has everyone been trying to get their sticky BFP?

This cycle we have given ConceivePlus fertility Lube a go along with Seven Seas Trying for a Baby pills.

I have also said “sod it” and gone back to eating whatever I fancy, having a beer when I fancy it but have cut down to only two coffees a day.

@pickingflowers.omg I'm exactly the same with magpies at the minute 😂 I always see them so I really take note when I need them to be in 2s or more hahaha. Other days I just take no notice

@Starry1234 I'm awful. I'll be driving to work early morning and shouting 'HELLO MR MAGPIE' at the single ones, then feeling lucky at the ones in pairs.
The whole time I know it's ridiculous but I can't help myself!!

@pickingflowers 😂😂 That's me all over. The things we'll do for a bfp 😂😂. I'm really hoping I get some signs though more towards my af arriving. I'm trying to stay hopeful but not get obsessive at the same time. I had very slight breast tenderness today and even hanging on that 🙈. @ffiffi8 have you had any other symptoms?,

@Starry1234 oh sending lots of hope and lucky magpies flying your way!! Me too with the boob soreness but only when I poke them or jump up and down. They used to get so sore after ov til AF but since the mc they haven't at all.

But then I think 7dpo quite early for soreness?

@pickingflowers 🤔 hmm I'm not too sure on that one. It's been a week since ov so I guess there could be changes in hormones and stuff. I'm only 3dpo 🙄 this waiting is awful. I already have a Dd who's 7 and I'm just soooo ready for another Dc. Sorry to hear about your mc 💐. Did you use and opks? Or track bbt?

Anyone else seeing everything as a symptom?

My bbt is all over the place. I'm tired, bloated, achey and feel a bit nauseous. Would love these to be linked to pregnancy but it's probably too early for that as I'm only around 6/7dpo. Really I know all these things are because I have had mild tonsillitis on and off for last 6 weeks and seem to be getting another wave following - oddly - a couple of fillings at the weekend (I don't know how!)

@TwittleBee oh lovely! Halloween is either going to end in sweets and wine or a healthy snack haha! No I haven’t tried a Seven Seas - have you been taking it? Is it any good? I feel like by now I should really have bought stocks in Clearblue and First Repsonse!! Must not test early......

@pickingflowers since my MCs my boobs now get sore 1dpo!! It’s madness, I can’t even sysmtom spot with them anymore haha!

@Starry1234 I use opks which I tend to get a positive same day or so each time. Don't do bbt yet, the graphs put me off, I hate maths! And I think it would make me obsess even more than I already am! Makes it worse being off work for a week.

@Tefiti2 it's so weird isn't it, how the mc hormones change stuff?! Since coming off the pill 16 months ago my boobs were so sore immediately after ovulation til AF. When I got my bfp I was really surprised because I didn't think I would be, my boobs hadn't really changed (except the soreness was more on top rather than the sides).

Since the mc they really haven't got sore at all (although this is only second cycle since) so now I'm worried that it's messed things up! Funny how yours are the opposite! Sorry to hear about your mc too, it's so horrible xx

Trying my best not to symptom spot as it drives me crazy every month, trying to be relaxed about things is so hard.

@pickingflowers ahh I see. Yeah I don't bbt. Like you the graphs put me way off. I wouldn't be able to work it out. I only used opks this month. Got 2 low 2 highs and then my peak. Which coinsided with my cycle. I bd in my fertile week but not every night so I'm praying the little swimmer caught my egg 🙌. The pain I had all through the week though was horrible. I've never exoericed ov pain before. I was on contraception for 7byears so I had to remember how my cycle went. This is 2nd month off the pill and I got the opks to see if my body was going back to normal for peace of mind.

@Starry1234 I remember when I came off the pill my ovaries were agony! I'd been on it 19 years though, so I guess they really were in hibernation!
Good to hear you're getting nice positive opks, it's reassuring.
I read that DTD every other day or so is better for more high quality sperm? Then they are all up there ready for when the egg pops out.
I've just had a load of pineapple for dinner because apparently that's good for implantation. Didn't tell DH why we are having it as he thinks I'm too het up about the TWW but when she saw it all chopped up he said 'yum, pineapple' 😂

Oh yeah good point. I never thought of them being in hibernation. Yes I saw that on a thread on here. Think I'm gonna have a read up on it. I love pineapple anyway so I wouldn't mind that. 😂 Haha that's hillarious. Awww I so hope you get your bfp this month!!! You'll have to keep me updated. Fx for you so much

@Crazydreamer you are about the same dpo as me - I think 16th for me. Driving myself crazy symptom spotting even though I'm pretty sure I've had no actual symptoms. Are you ttc your first?

Hi everyone, thought I would jump on this thread, will be close to the tww soon I think, have been TTC since march and had an early miscarriage last month and this is my first cycle after that, don't really know when to expect anything to happen!
I am using the fertility lube, taking the normal vitamins plus vitamin D + vitamin C

Managed to avoid POAS this morning! Very close to doing so though but managed to rationalise with myself

@tweetlebee morning 😊 I'm trying not to either even though I'm only 4dpo I know it's stupid but I've woke up with tingly boobs. I'm ignoring it and putting it down to some sort of hormone thing 😂

Hope it’s not too late to join? I’m 32 ttc#2 on cycle 1 after implant removal.

Currently 8dpo (I think as going off ‘ovulation’ symptoms only) and using ovia app to track.

Af due Monday, got a number of symptoms including extra saliva so fingers crossed.

Very annoying that early pregnancy and pms symptoms are the same I’m trying to ignore them and not get hopes up.

Starry1234 see that is exactly what I am trying to do too, only 5dpo! It cant be anything yet surely haha. Although I couldnt eat dinner last night as was so nauseous (then again I think I am coming down with something...)

Thistle86 hey there! No not too late. More the merrier! Hopefully your cycles will be reasonably straight back to normal after the implant removal!

@TwittleBee I didn't do so well at rationalising... POAS at 8 DPO, obviously it was BFN 🙈 didn't even use FMU or an early preg test... now in a bad mood anyhow. I've got too much time on my hands.

Conceived DS first month of trying and just assumed it would be just as quick this time! How wrong I was!!..

I’ve tried the relaxed approach to no avail and this month I’ve pulled out all the stops!! We’ve followed the smep, used conceive plus, used opks, taking extra vitamins and started to dose up on cough syrup to help my cm!! Google it, it’s a thing! Lol

Feeling hopeful so 🤞🏻 This is it!

Only symptom as of yet is some mild cramping xx
