TTC #1 Journey starts now

Ok , that's it. I'm done leaving it to chance. Me and my partner definitely want to actively try for a baby. We've been letting nature take its course but not actively trying.
So I've downloaded Flo and added my last few period dates. I stopped the pill back in July after being on for 13 years.
I've got some of that seven seas Trying for a baby pre conception vitamins, I started my period very last last night/early hours this morning after being 3 days late . Normally I'm like clockwork with AF, but this month I'm late, starving, nauseous, and so tired. But obviously not pregnant if I'm on period!!
So today marks the start of us activily TTC. I'm making sure we DTD around my ovulation dates and I'm hoping for a BFP next time around...
I'm extremely clueless to pregnancy, I never realised how hard it actually is! School teaches you that it's a definite the moment you have unprotected sex!
I'm 25 yet feel like I no nothing!?
Can I test at any point or is it best to wait till the next time AF is due? As in wait till I'm late then do a test?
I don't smoke or drink heavily. May have a glass of wine here and there.
Any tips for this month? Hoping I'll get a BFP by December!!!

I have tender boobs more so in the left but I got that last cycle so I try not to symptom spot now. I'm going to wait until AF is here this time which is due a week today. I waste so much money on tests so going to try, I say try not to test lol!
When is af due for you @MyloC? Are you going to test before?

AF if it was it was still light and no cramps now my lower abdomen is crampy no idea if it's from the gym or bloating but I'm fine when I sit it eases just when I get up it hits and does make me feel a little sicky feeling

@MrsC87 try to avoid testing til your due. It is SO hard!

@Thinkcalmthoughts PMS and early preg symptoms can be the same so also learning not to read in to them. Some months I've had cramping a week after Ov and nausea and been convinced that was it only to have AF, and the hormones released for either outcome can cause that

It's so tempting to test! I've got loads of cheapies. Still no period for me. Around 50 days now since stopping pill.
I've bought Zinc and vitamin b supplements to try kick start it! Anything helps right!? I read these might help who knows...
So I've been doing opks daily and have a very faint line at the moment. Does this happen even when you're not ovulating and is always present or could this be because I'm heading towards ovulation?

Af or supossed AF was last week

I normally have cramps with AF but was none there and on folic acid too

Just the past few days been having a sicky feeling especially last night while at work then this morning with the lower abdomen cramps

I tested on the 30th Oct with a FR test, I was 11 days dpo, and got BFN. Period was due to start maybe yesterday or today..and tomoro on the flo app it says period day 1. I think I'm gonna leave it and if still no sign of AF at day 2 I'll test again. Had a bit of a funny tummy but no cramps yet but then normally mine arrives at night time! Pretty sure I'm out this month , but I'm not as sad as I was mast month. Reckon because I've not pressured myself as much and not obsessively checked apps ECT... anyone else waiting to test/ for AF?

@ladytmp I'm a day late AF was due yesterday, still getting BFN but then I ovulated between the 21st and 23rd OCT so got a couple days and then I'll test again, first month off the pill so not exactly sure how long my cycles going to be but been getting all kinds of symptoms the past week had a bit of dark brown spotting on weds I was hoping implantation bleeding but now I'm not so positive, Friday I had a lot of milky white CM sorry TMI and yeah nothing yet, wanna stamp that one negative line when I see it! @MrsP4 Good luck for you! you sound similar to me with symptoms this month but then mine could be down to the biopsy i had as well !

3 days late...did FR test this morning, BFN....AF needs to hurry up if she's coming! This part is the worst ...

Ah man. Sorry for your bfn @ladytmp you're right. It is the worst. When you just want to hurry up and get on to the next cycle. Feels like a lifetime. Hang in there girl!
I'm currently Cd13, expecting to ovulate next Tuesday according to Flo. See how it goes!

@ExpectantPatronum tell me about it , but I have no symptoms for AF like I normally do.... it's weird...if she doesn't arrive by tomorrow you think I should test again?

@ladytmp are you temping at all (sorry if I missed this from before)? It's possible you ovulated later than you realised which could mean everything is shifted by a few days later (this happened to me last month) or it could be good news. How many DPO are you now? If implantation can take up to 10 days, and then allowing enough time for the hormones to start kicking in, you could potentially have tested too early last night to pick something up. Perhaps retry tomorrow first thing in the morning if she hasn't shown?

@EltzBee I'm not no, I don't even check when I'm ovulating, I use flo app and track my discharge (sorry if tmi) I also had a cervical biopsy this month, which if anything I thought would make AF be early as I swear I read that somewhere.... my app said I ovulated the 19th ...

@ladytmp ah fair enough. It's so difficult to know for sure if it's just late then! From experience the Apps aren't always accurate and sometimes have to update their calculations based on OPKs and Temps and Cervical Fluid. So it shouldn't be too far out hopefully. Was it Sunday you tested?

@EltzBee im not holding my breath... i did think this month conception would be unlikely, but im very regular... never late.
I was last month but i put that down to Flo not having enough data to make a good prediction as i couldn't remember when my last period was exactly! But i did get cramps last month...
i had cramps this month...but like 2 days ago... now im fine..
i tested before period was due which was the 30th with FR test...BFN
Then this morning with FR. Still BFN, although when i took it apart there was a line but then that could have just been my eyes/evap...
Plus, dont know if it matters but id been holding in my pee for ages as was too tired to get up and actually pee...
Still no signs..
Someone i work with commented on how bright my eyes looked today...im reading far too much into it and assuming its pregnancy glow I am expecting AF as then i cant be disappointed...

So I caved and tested today and got a line, 11dpo. Still in shock 😳

Well im officially out... 4 days late, but literally just come on.... slightly disappointing , but it was expected!
My colleague reckons my cervical biopsy must have messed up my cycle...
on wards and upwards!

@ladytmp at least AF has arrived and you can start your next cycle - like you said, onwards and upwards! Nothing worse than waiting for her to start when you 'know' you're not preg and want to be!

We're approaching the fertile week so made sure to BD last night - going to try and dtd every other day til after I'm positive I've O'd!

Im new to this whole thing..what exactly is BD and how is it done...?? hope you dont mind me asking! i dont trust the apps 100% so would rather go by my body!
