Age 35
DD age 2
TTC number 2

This is our first month trying I'm on CD15 and no smiley on OPK yet. I'm still sort of bf'ing toddler usually twice a day sometimes once so hopefully that's not preventing ovulation.

Had 2 chemicals before conceiving DD1 so expecting the same again this time round.

Oh no I’m so sorry sweetie, I had a false positive a few months ago and it did me in for weeks. How long have you been trying x

scrolling123 · 23/10/2018 18:29

Well we sort of run by the 'see what happens' rule, but now we are concentrating our efforts. 😉 Xx

ducksandacorns · 24/10/2018 10:09

Hello all! I'd like to join please.

TTC number 2, only started tracking this month.

Like @scrolling123 I had an early MC and am hoping cycles aren't too tricky to track now! Hope you're ok @scrolling123

Fingers crossed for you all.

ducksandacorns · 24/10/2018 10:09

Bold fail! Sorry!

scrolling123 · 24/10/2018 10:22

@ducksandacorns fingers crossed for you too xx

Lubilu28 · 24/10/2018 17:59

So this morning, as I was forcing my 2.5 yo DS out of bed (tell me about it! Only because I had to go work and was rushing lol) he randomly turned to me as we were going down the stairs and said “mummy got small baby in tummy!!” 😱 now I’m hoping he has special powers and can see inside me but I’m guessing he was just dreaming haha still was very very weird lol

2dpo and still having cramps!! Gonna keep dtd just in case lol xxx

RoseReally · 25/10/2018 19:17

Lubilu fingers crossed for special powers, let us know!

I am so frustrated. AF was due on Tuesday but I've only had some brown discharge (sorry TMI!). I am having loads of cramping and feel like AF is due any second, have felt like this for a few days. My internet cheapies arrived tonight but BFN. Argh!

Lubilu28 · 25/10/2018 21:56

@RoseReally I’ve heard the internet cheapies are crap compared to first response! I’ve seen someone on another thread had a dark like on a FRER but a squinter on a cheapie!! Maybe wait a couple of days and see, 🤞🏻 For you!!

I know I’ve got everything crossed for this month!! Xxx

RoseReally · 26/10/2018 07:30

Thanks @Lubilu, unfortunately AF arrived this mornint so I'm out this month! So annoying that it was late because I think it will now mean that I am away for my fertile window next cycle.

LauraPalmersBodybag · 26/10/2018 15:17

Sorry to hear that @RoseReally it sucks when it feels like your body plays those little tricks on you. Hope you have a nice weekend.

Ameliasmummy12 · 26/10/2018 15:47

Hi all 😊
I really hope you don’t mind me jumping onto the post. This is my first time posting although I must warn you I’ve stalked these threads for what feels like half of my life!

So I have 37 day cycles. Only the last 4 cycles have I monitored ovulation. So I’m fairly new to it. I used opks this month and think I ovulated on the 20th putting me at 6dpo today. I always symptom spot so won’t lie and say I don’t! But this month I decided to relax a little with it. Is it too early to feel symptoms? I’ve read such conflicting info about it. I have a very precise list of symptoms since O day.

Many thanks
X

LauraPalmersBodybag · 26/10/2018 15:55

Hi @Ameliasmummy12 of course you can jump in! I’m 5 dpo and am trying to stop myself symptom spotting, but it’s so hard isn’t it.

From my thorough googling the last few days I’ve reached this conclusion: Anything earlier than 5po is probably just your body doing its thing, fertilisation might be taking place, but you’re unlikely to know. It seems some people can feel implantation stuff from 5dpo onwards, though it could just be AF. Best thing to do is stay positive and wait till you’re ready to test.

Footnote...I have just bought FRER on my way whilst waiting for a train. Holding off testing till at least next Wednesday though.

Hold tight and good luck!

Ameliasmummy12 · 26/10/2018 16:01

Thank you for replying, I did worry I would be one of those last post ghosts that everybody misses 🤣🤣

I nearly bought a FRER today too but ended up buying a trolley load of chocolate instead! Trying to swerve buying for a few days.

I am a POAS addict too which doesn’t help! This month is the only month I’ve actually had what I think are legitimate symptoms! I’ve been awkwardly lying in ridiculous positions on the sofa to see if I can feel that ‘implantation stab’ but nope! Although I had a wierd dull achey feeling for about 10 minutes last night under my belly button, so of course, I’m convinced that was it 🤣🤣
I think I’ve gone crazy!
I have read a lot of threads in which the ladies got their bfp and were adamant they felt twinges really early which gives us hope I suppose! What symptoms have you had this month?
X

RoseReally · 26/10/2018 16:22

Thank you @LauraPalmersBodybag. I didn't really get my hopes up, I was already fairly certain I wasn't pregnant at the weekend but it's still a bit disappointing.

@Ameliasmummy12 when I was pregnant with DD, I was sure I had symptoms about a week before my period was due. I mainly felt extremely tired. It's one of the reasons I was pretty sure I wasn't pregnant this cycle.

Good luck to all of you in th TWW, not really looking forward to being back there again soon, I'm crap at waiting!

Ameliasmummy12 · 26/10/2018 16:26

@RoseReally I don’t remember much about the early stages of my pregnancy with DD other than at 6 weeks feeling incredibly sick daily and that brassy mouth! I’m 50/50 this month and usually I’m certain! So I’ll take that!

Mrstaylor18 · 26/10/2018 20:38

We totally missed O this month as hubby was away so it’s quite nice to have a break from the symptom spotting this month 😂. Although last month I had no sore boobs, cramps, bloating etc whatsoever, AF just turned up without warning. This month I have all of the above and I’m defo not pregnant so I don’t even know what would symptoms would mean anything anyway 🤣🤣

Ameliasmummy12 · 28/10/2018 10:09

@Mrstaylor18 our bodies do like to trick us don’t they! If you hadn’t missed O this month you would be here wondering with us! Well I’m at 8/9dpo today. I woke up feeling like I had been hit by a train. I had a very faint positive last night on a ClearBlue which was definitely there, but I’ve had chemical pregnancies before so I’m not counting on it! This morning I have super sore boobies 🙈 on and off cramping which is very centred.

@LauraPalmersBodybag have you tested yet?

pinkstar01 · 28/10/2018 10:31

Hi ladies I'd like to join!

I'm 33, have a DS whose 3.5. Been TTC #2 for a year now, even though DS only took 1 cycle! Just no idea why its taking so long this time :(

My cycles are 26-28 days and I haven't been tracking OV or charting anything but I think I will need to start. I'm scheduled for a laparascopy in 2 weeks time to investigate super painful ovulation and pelvic pain...plus I guess find out why I can't seem to get pregnant. I was really hoping this would be the month I get my BFP so I wouldn't have to have the lap...I'm due AF in 4/5 days and I'm too scared to test. I had some symptoms which looked promising like excess saliva and intense hunger but today they seemed to have calmed down so I'm losing hope

:-(

Ameliasmummy12 · 28/10/2018 10:35

@pinkstar01 don’t lose hope just yet. You’re not out until AF arrives. Also. My symptoms subsided 2 days ago I felt completely fine for a whole day. I was sure I was out. Last night I got a faint positive, which as I said I’m not going by, but today my symptoms came back in full swing!

pinkstar01 · 28/10/2018 10:41

@Ameliasmummy12 oh wow congratulations! I really hope it turns into a strong positive for you!
The return of symptoms sounds very promising and is good for me to hear too...I mean I still have about 4/5 days till AF so the symptoms shouldn't be very strong right now anyways, I even had felt the 'implantation stab' at the right time implantation would have happened, thats why up till yesterday I was so convinced I was PG I even told my sister I might be :(
I've ordered some FRER which arrive today but I'm not sure if I will use them yet...I just can't face seeing another BFN now

Ameliasmummy12 · 28/10/2018 10:53

@pinkstar01 I avoid saying this as I want to avoid those that say it’s impossible to feel anything! But we all know our bodies and what feels different. According to my app I ovulated Tuesday 23rd, but according to my body I ovulated 19th/20th. Which would put me at 8/9dpo. Since 3/4dpo my body has constantly been at war with me, aches in my boobies are normal before AF but not like they are now. They feel sore all over. I have 37 day cycles so AF isn’t due until 7th November approx. Which is a long wait! But with my DD I had no symptoms and found out at 7 weeks pregnant. Obviously now I symptom check constantly! But this month just feels different. I have felt a few sharp pains so I’m not sure when implantation happened if it did... I plan to do a FRER tomorrow although they’re not my favourite choice

Ameliasmummy12 · 28/10/2018 10:55

@pinkstar01 I actually noted down all of my symptoms this month on my app to compare to next month if needs be as I forget if some symptoms I usually feel or now

LauraPalmersBodybag · 28/10/2018 21:23

@AmeliasMummy12 that’s good news...I’m keeping everything crossed for you! When will you test again?

I’m waiting until Tuesday or Wednesday to test as I just know I won’t get anything back till then. AF is due Sunday and I bought a pack of 3 FRER so thinking I’ll text, Wed, Fri and Sun. Obviously should probably just wait, but I’m going a bit stir crazy. Started mild cramping 5dpo and it’s continued through the weekend, so hoping it’s a good sign. Also woke up feeling under the weather 6dpo... and I think I feel pregnant...but who can tell.

@Pinkstar01 when is your period due? Wishing you all the luck

Ameliasmummy12 · 28/10/2018 22:06

@LauraPalmersBodybag I am most likely going to test tomorrow or Tuesday. Keep us updated with yours fingers crossed xx

LauraPalmersBodybag · 28/10/2018 22:17

I’ll be thinking of you! Do let us know and I’ll do the same x
