9dpo and negative test

I wondered if anyone else would like to share their experience with me! I am 9dpo and took a test this morning and it was BFN. Is this way too early to test? I see lots of people getting BFP at 9dpo and wondered if there should definitely be even the faintest line? I’m so impatient and the wait is killing me. I tested using the FR 6 days earlier test so really if going by that, I should have shown positive as AF is due on Friday. I’d love to hear other people’s experiences as I feel I can’t really speak to any of my friends as they all conceived first month of trying and wouldn’t understand. We are on our third cycle of TTC and I know this isn’t long at all.

Hi ladies! How is it going?? I've got a a little update from this morning. When checking my cervix and cm, I've found out I'm spotting a bit. It's very light pink colour (sorry for tmi). No cramps...nothing. I've been tracking my temps and using OPK for the last 11 days and last Sunday I had a positive OPK with a temperature spike the next morning so I'm hoping I ovulated. We also BD on Sunday. I am so curious if this is my period starting now...while it would be a bit early in consideration with the positive ovulation test. Or if this could be an implantation spotting!! While that's quite early because I would only be about 6DPO today. I guess I will find out during the day or tomorrow. What do you think??
I literally feel like I have no symptoms at all this month, except my usual breast soreness but that's what I get before my AF.

@Martina2311 Hey! I think this could be a good sign of early pregnancy? Especially if you don’t have any cramps or anything. How are you feeling now?

Hey @MrsMcNtobe so have you started tracking your temps as well or just using OPK?
I am fine, just a little irritated over the day. Got a little on and off pressure in my abdomen but thats about it. The spotting is pretty steady flow, but still light and its very mucusy. Like CM mixed with blood. But then again my periods are not very heavy in general. Its quite confusing, I guess I will have to wait if it stops or not. But just thinking that if I was right with the ovulation day last Monday, then this is very early for AF and would mean my luteal phase is quite short :/ But I mean I've just skipped the whole cycle last month so really don't know what to expect from this month 🙈

This was mine at 9dpo, surprised it was quite strong for so early as I wasn't due AF for 5 days x

I still don’t have much going on, really really light cramp (next to nothing) a bit emotional and some creamy CM. Apart from that nothing!

Hey! @MrsMcNtobe It turned out to be a flow.🤦‍♀️ Yesterday I was spotting but today it's my usual AF. So confusing one week after a positive OPK and the temp spike. But then again my cycle has been just messed up in general last month. I just really hope this month will be a bit more settled and back to normal so I can rely on it and estimate my fertile window correctly. Well well...here is to this month's success.
When is your AF due this month? I'm sure that not always you feel symptoms so wouldn't think anything of it. Are you planning on testing less this month?

@Martina2311 aww god that sucks I’m sorry :( at least AF has arrived and you can start your next cycle as normal. AF is due on 5th. Took a cheap amazon stick and was thinking I could see the smallest shadow of a 2nd line but I really think I’m imagining it :( far far too early to POAS don’t even know why I did it but I’ll maybe try another after a few days!

Hi @MrsMcNtobe! Any news? How are you feeling? My AF is officially over...nice and short... I seriously only get about 2 full days of a full flow which is quite light anyways. And spotting one day before and one after. Now it's time to slowly get ready for our fertile window. I'm so excited for this month. I'm taking my OPK every day even tho it's not really needed yet, but I want to see the progress and not miss anything.
Have u got any symptoms of either AF approaching or have you done any more HPT? And don't be silly...I am as much impatient as you are. The money and amount of tests I peed on last month is just embarassing. 😂

@Martina2311 hey! Well after being so good with not symptom spotting I’ve went crazy the last 2 days.. 4 cheap tests yesterday and 2 today and absolutely nothing! I’m only 9/10DPO so it really is far too early but I’m driving myself crazy here :( still not many symptoms apart from being snappy and over emotional! I know I’m not out yet but I’ve lost all hope. I’m thinking of trying conceive plus and the seven seas conception tablets next month but I’m also considering just taking a month off from OPKs and stressing!

So glad your AF was short! Do you roughly know when you’re going to ovulate?

Hey @MrsMcNtobe ! Aaah the wait is so hard right 😐 I know it's not easy, but try to relax a bit more, you are probably stressing yourself too much by getting all those negatives. And don't loose hope. It's still early and if its not this month then it will be soon, but it will come eventually. I know it's easier said than done. In the end, the nature only decides when...We can only stress because we want to be in control and it doesn't work like that. Think about it differently...If it doesn't work this cycle, that means you have more time to get healthier, get more prepared, learn more about your body etc. If you want to try more vitamins, do it...while waiting, prepare your body to welcome the baby in its best shape and conditions. Maybe try to focus on that?
Having said that, I will be probably the same when it's my time to wait 🙈and you will need to tell me the same things haha. My fertile window should start probably in about 9 days. I'm doing my OPK and temps every day now, so hope I won't miss it. I quite enjoy doing that anyways. I think it's really interesting observing all these things about your body.

@Martina2311 AF came yesterday! But I’m a little confused now, since TTC I’ve had a 42 day, 28 day and now 25 day cycle.. the first one was when I came off the mini pill but I’m not sure if I should be worrying that this month has been a bit early? I’m probably overreacting!

How are yous OPKs and temps going so far? You’ll probably start to see some lines this week!

I am 11DPO today and got my first faint BFP yesterday with a much nice one today! My DH doesnt know yet, I am waiting for the line to get much stronger.

12DPO today for me! Tested yesterday I want to say there was the teeniest wee line but honestly I don’t think there was! AF due tomorrow so I might pick some up and test then, I’m not really hopeful but I’ll keep you updated!

@Martina2311 I meant to tell you about my wee minute bit of spotting!!!! Thursday the teeniest wee finger print size bit of realllly pale pink blood... that would have been 10DPO, think it meant anything?

@MrsMcNtobe thank you! Let's hope it's a strong baby and stays where it is! 🙂 Yesterday, I didn't expect anything from the test to be honest. I had zero symptoms, except painful breasts, but I get that anyways before AF. You know how many times I tested with Free my previous cycle, so seeing the tiny line there this time left me shocked and in tears. I knew it can't be a false positive as I knew it was still early. I will attach a separate photo of the test from yesterday, you can hardly see it but it's there!! I couldn't sleep well last night, guessing from the excitement and it was sooo difficult not to say anything to my DH especially because we went out for a dinner alone. But I just want to wait until I can do the digital test that clearly says Pregnant. Dont want to show him something and be like 'Can you see the faint line?' I am planning on telling him on Monday or Tuesday. It will be his birthday on the 12th so will give him his present early and when he opens it (a backpack) he will find the test in one of the pockets. :)

Spotting at 10DPO could definitely be an implantation but it's hard to say. I know that some women get spotting around ovulation and then before AF but since yours is not due until tomorrow it's a bit unsure. Let's see what tmrw brings then! I will keep my fingers crossed for you 🤗 How have you been feeling the whole 2 weeks wait? I didn't think it will work out cause I really didn't feel any different apart from having a bit of cold. But I was measssurimg my temps and they stayed high all the time...also I knew for sure that we didn't miss the fertile window because we BD on the day of ovulation and two days before. I also used an evening primrose oil before ovulation to help the mucus be more fertile and I was using my usual opk every day and more times a day around the possible time of ovulation as well as I bought a Clear Blue digital ovulation tests that show you surge in estrogen already before your OPK gets positive. So think that helped. Both had same results and then temperature confirmed ovulation so I knew we didn't miss it for sure. It's strange to actually know when we conceived. 🙈 3 days before my son's birthday! 😀

Oh and this is the test yesterday. If you zoom in you can see the tiniest line. 😅

@Martina2311 that’s so amazing I’m so happy for you!! This was my test yesterday I think I’m imagining a tiny smudge on it but I know there’s nothing there. I’ll test tomorrow though if AF doesn’t show!

Usually I have terrible hunger before AF but the total opposite this month!

@MrsMcNtobe aaah it's really hard to tell, I can't see much but I can imagine you see it better live. Photos are not as accurate. But if something was there, tomorrow should definitely be more visible if no AF. Give me an update! 🤗 do you do your opks to predict your ovulation? X

Hey @MrsMcNtobe! That doesn't sound nice, are you better now?? I think it's a good idea to relax over Christmas and have a little break. Have you got any nice plans?
I've been good. Haven't really got many symptoms, actually once my breasts stopped hurting and I freaked put a bit but it came back 2 days later. I've put on about 1,5 kg, guessing my body is storing fat and I've been also more relaxed about eating..thinking I can snack more often now since I will get big anyways 😅
I still haven't seen a doctor for a blood test, they are still supposed to invite me..I only received my 12 week scan appointment but the first one should still come. I think it won't be until after new years. I still test now and then and keep measssuring my temps. I know it means almost nothing but the wait to find out if everything is ok is just so long 😐 I also don't have any other symptoms than the breast pain. Maybe I am a little more sensitive to cigarette, fuel and any bad smell...But not sure if I'm only imagining it. So I'm just really hoping that everything is ok...that my hcg is raising as it should, because I really dont feel much pregnant. Maybe I am just lucky lol but a little nausea here and there would reassure me I guess. 🤔
