9dpo and negative test

I wondered if anyone else would like to share their experience with me! I am 9dpo and took a test this morning and it was BFN. Is this way too early to test? I see lots of people getting BFP at 9dpo and wondered if there should definitely be even the faintest line? I’m so impatient and the wait is killing me. I tested using the FR 6 days earlier test so really if going by that, I should have shown positive as AF is due on Friday. I’d love to hear other people’s experiences as I feel I can’t really speak to any of my friends as they all conceived first month of trying and wouldn’t understand. We are on our third cycle of TTC and I know this isn’t long at all.

Thank you @MrsMcNtobe thats very reassuring to read! I've been googling the same this morning. Its good to read that there are woman out there who had this late positives. I guess its just me having doubts as I had these expectations from FRER. 😕

@Martina2311 i’m the same I expected at least some sort of line even just the faintest wee thing but there’s literally nothing even if I look at it from different angles there’s nothing 😂 i’m wondering if I ovulated later than I thought even though I got a static smiley on the clear blue test.. who knows. I might not plan so much next month and see what happens (probably will plan 😂)

@JillieHunter Wait as long as you can :) With FRER you may get a result before your AF is due..so you can maybe start over the weekend. But dont be dissapointed if it comes negative as it all depends if your body has managed to build up enough hcg for the test to be able to detect. FRER is one of the most reliable ones apparently but at the same time, there are many woman who didnt get their BFPs even with those until after their AF was due. So it really depends. How are you feeling @MrsMcNtobe? My AF is due today (nothing so far) and I dont feel like its coming at all. But FRER still negative from FMU today. I am still hoping my hcg hasnt built up yet but then again worried if that would mean something bad? Since I'm testing with Frer and hasnt got even the smallest amount of hcg to be detected yet. I know there are woman out there who had the same situation but this is just...So frustrating. I just wanna know either way.

@Martina2311 hey! I’m so emotional today. My cheap amazon tests are completely white not even a slight second like. AF not due for another couple of days. Still occasional pain/sicky feeling and yesterday I had a dodgy stomach. I’m just so over this month. I 100% don’t think I’m pregnant technically still not out but thought a test would have shown something by now. 1 FRER but I don’t want to waste it

@MrsMcNtobe Hey! I know what you mean. That's what I feel like...just wasting the tests one after another. I've ordered another pack of FRERs but I said to myself that if AF doesn't arrive, I will have a 2 day break with testing because it's just too frustrating and disappointing. To be honest I'll be even relieved when AF arrives, just for the sake of knowing the answer and moving on so I can focus on next cycle. 😑

@Martina2311 I feel the same. Used my FRER - still nothing because I’ve got the cheap tests I wake up and the first thing I think is TEST NOW but I’d like to take a wee break too. Have you read about the SMEP plan? I might try that next month but might skip OPKs I think I’m becoming too obsessed.

It’s weird how we’re all around the same day PO yet none of us have had a BFN maybe we really are just too early 😂

Still neg 12dpo! Flo due tomorrow so fx it doesnt come, im nearly afraid to pee for fear i see my flo! Oh i hope one of us get good news soon!!!

@emma88P fx for you chick! I’m pure dreading this full week cos I don’t know if AF is coming or not! Have you had any more symptoms?

@MrsMcNtobe no other symptons other than massive boobs, but their usually sore at this stage of my cycle. I dont want to read into symptoms too much but ive had more bloating than usual this month, staying positive, but trying to be realistic, its killing me.

What about u ladies any symptoms lead to pregnancy previously? With my last preg i didnt test til i was 4 days late, i had so much moreself control then! 😂

@emma88P this will be my first so I’m new to all this 😂 I really have no idea if I always have the aches and pains before AF or if I’m imagining these because I’m paying more attention to my body

Hi everyone! I have literally just read all of your thread over the past week. It was an emotional rollercoaster just as a reader! Lol! Gutted none of you have got your results yet either, been trying for 3 months and currently am 3 days past ovulation. Using Clearblue ovulation kit. Have a shorter cycle than normal 23/24 days so waiting until 15th Oct. baby dust to all x

@emma88P I can't really remember what symptoms I was having with my first pregnancy except sore breasts, that was the earliest thing I found strange, mainly because I wouldn't have them sore before my period as I do now since I've taken my Mirena out. But otherwise I don't remember anything suspicious, because the pregnancy wasn't planned so I wasn't really watching myself much. I also got pregnant even though I used the morning after pill so really wasn't counting on pregnancy that time hahaha. It was our first and only unprotected sex and I used the pill...but still got pregnant lol Wish it was that easy all the time. 🤩

@MrsMcNtobe Hey! Just realised I didn't answer. What is the SMEP plan? How are you today? Due tomorrow right? No sign of AF here again, my cycles are 28-32 days long and today is day 32. Skipped testing today but testing tomorrow if the witch doesn't show up by then! Got a slight raise in temperature today and my CM has changed. How about you?

I had to take painkillers and go to bed early had the worst cramp, negative cheap test today and some watery CM! How you feeling? I think AF will come tomorrow or Thursday 🙁

Just been to the toilet the lightest pink when I wiped could barely even see it but I think it’s AF (sorry TMI)

does everyone count the first day of their period from spotting or first full days bleeding?

@MrsMcNtobe oh dear...Do you usually get crampy before AF? I only get a small cramp on the day followed with the flow right after so I can't predict by that. My CM has changed a few times already since my O so kind of lost at that now as well. But my cervix seams still high and soft and somehow I just feel like AF is not coming. I just don't have my usual PMS. This cycle everything seams so different with me but I know I might be causing it by focusing on myself a lot. Today I feel pretty bloated still and a little less appetite. Hmmm..I don't know if I get a negative tomorrow again, what else to think about this.
Thank you for the tip, I will Google it up. Surprised I haven't bumped into it yet with the amount of googling I do nowadays 😆

Where does everyone get their frer from, Ive hit three supermarkets today and all they’ve got are CB 😩

We’ve only just decided to go for it with no2, but I’ve remembered how absolutely obsessed I am with everything once I start. Im feeling sick and dizzy like last time but I know my body can play tricks on me!

@Martina2311 AF is officially here.. early!! 😭 never had cramp like this before I’m in agony! Bed, hot water bottle and strong painkillers for me!
