9dpo and negative test

I wondered if anyone else would like to share their experience with me! I am 9dpo and took a test this morning and it was BFN. Is this way too early to test? I see lots of people getting BFP at 9dpo and wondered if there should definitely be even the faintest line? I’m so impatient and the wait is killing me. I tested using the FR 6 days earlier test so really if going by that, I should have shown positive as AF is due on Friday. I’d love to hear other people’s experiences as I feel I can’t really speak to any of my friends as they all conceived first month of trying and wouldn’t understand. We are on our third cycle of TTC and I know this isn’t long at all.

Has anyone had any food aversions or metallic tastes? Ive just eaten the same chili tomato sauce I always have and had to spit it out. It made me gag, it was so metallic almost like blood. Monster munch taste like crap as well which I'm gutted about. I thought I just had a bad bag but they're all bad

@Fuddlestix that is meant to be a pregnancy symptom! Still no symptoms here, keeping my fingers crossed AF doesn’t come tomorrow but I have an enormous feeling it will! 😭

@Marshmallow1992 are the usual pre af feelings absent still? I have none either.

@Chanel05 I’m not sure! I have eaten so much cake today at work so I have a sore stomach but I’m not sure if it’s that or some cramp 😂. Really just waiting until tomorrow morning as my cycle has been very regular 28 days so I’m not getting my hopes up until tomorrow morning if AF doesn’t arrive but I really think it will. Have you tested today?

@Marshmallow1992 I had zero symptoms when I fell pregnant a few years ago (MC) I didn't realise I was pregnant until 7weeks because it dawned on me I hadn't had a period for awhile and still had no symptoms, so anything is possible. Fingers,toes,eyes crossed for you

@marshmallow1992 well here’s hoping that its a good sign! Embrace the cake either way! If nothing has happened this month then I just want af to arrive and crack on really. I tested this morning and it was a bfn with a frer so I’m not going to test again!

How's everyone's partners? I think mines ready for it to be over now he gets scared around ovulation time and calls me a praying mantis. 😂

@Chanel05 sorry to hear about the BFN. I didn’t test today. Can’t wait for tomorrow but kind of dreading it as I have a strong feeling that I’m not pregnant but just need to keep trying! I have so much on this month though and we are at a wedding the weekend of ovulation so it’s not exactly ideal 😭.

It’s so nice to see I’m not alone in the mad obsession of googling everything 😂 my friends think I’m mad!!

Ttc no 2, on month 3 of trying, I’m 10/11 dpo and af is due on sat/sun!! I tested this afternoon and a bfn, but when I tweaked it I think I can see a squinter but I’ve said that every month so it’s deffo a bfn!

I don’t feel like I’m pregnant as I’m having all the same symptoms as the last 2 months!!

The tww is getting rather depressing, I keep finding myself tear up when I see a baby or pregnant lady on the tv 🙈 it’s getting ridiculous lol

Going to test again in the morning as I’ve got loads of cheapies so I’ll keep u posted xx

@Lubilu28 hope that it turns out to be a bfp for you! I’ve so far resisted buying cheapies as I’d be testing like a mad woman!

@Fuddlestix dh lets me get on with it but always says that people have been getting pregnant for thousands of years without all of the things we’re using. I am an all or nothing person and enjoy doing all the bits and bobs! How long have you been ttc for?

@Chanel05 this is my third(ish) cycle TTC. I've not had periods for 4years from being on the depo after MC they only came back this may. Forgot how a cycle works and started counting after the end of my period so DTD too late the first time. Its good talking to other women about this stuff, very educational! How long have you been trying for? I'm hoping because I'm just under 30 it will happen in 6months max but who knows!

@Fuddlestix My partner can't believe how much I'm into this. This is our first month and all this info is so new to me because first time I fell pregnant, it was unplanned. So I'm doing lots of research and I feel like its so interesting so I keep telling him but his face just tells me none of it makes sense to him lol last night he told me that he hears way too much of "cycle, estrogen, implantation, cramps, hormons, period etc etc" words. He can be happy I haven't started explaining him the differences between CM during our period

@Martina2311 LOL wait until you're shouting him from the bathroom to come and look at your CM. They don't appreciate the miracle as much as we do or all the crazy factors that go into making the perfect environment for a little person! Good luck xxx

I think I’m out 😔!!

Probably tmi but I thought I could see some light pink in my cm so I inserted a finger and wiped it on a tissue and it’s definitely the start of spotting, right on frigging time!!

What's people's skin like before AF? I normally get a little flare up on my back and face but I've just seen I'm starting to be get them on my stomach and legs this month, pretty sore too I've never seen this before and I can't find anything handy on google? If AF is coming I hope these sod off quickly, don't fancy them rubbing on my chub rolls all month!

Sorry to hear @Lubilu28 but take it as ovulation is coming soon after and that means another chance for you! Do you know your fertile window?

@Fuddlestix I usually get acne before my period and this time I am also getting quite dry hands. Don't know if it has any connection at all but find it weird because I only get dry hands in a cold weather and I haven't changed any products.
I've heard that some women get pimples at random places tho.

I've googled today that abdominal and lower back pain usually occurs around implantation, anyone experienced it maybe in previous pregnancies? I had this dull back pain since Tuesday evening...yesterday all day and it was pretty intense..I dont get lower back pains. Counting from my ovulation day, it really could be around implantation, plus yesterday during the day I had one random sharp pain under my belly button. I am so hoping this is not a coincidence in timing!

@Chanel05 how are you???!! AF is not here! I usually wake up on Friday morning with it here and it’s not! I’m not getting hopes up but. Will test either later today or tomorrow.

@MrsMcNtobe Same here. No symptoms and a neg test this morning. Except a little cramping in the evening but that could have been whatever. It's so annoying how some days you feel SO pregnant and some days just not at all.

@Martina2311 I know what you mean. I feel like I’m just gonna rule it out this month but then again that might just be my mood swings talking 😂 I ordered cheap tests off amazon that are due tomorrow so no doubt I’ll spend all weekend peeing on them for the sake of it!
