9dpo and negative test

I wondered if anyone else would like to share their experience with me! I am 9dpo and took a test this morning and it was BFN. Is this way too early to test? I see lots of people getting BFP at 9dpo and wondered if there should definitely be even the faintest line? I’m so impatient and the wait is killing me. I tested using the FR 6 days earlier test so really if going by that, I should have shown positive as AF is due on Friday. I’d love to hear other people’s experiences as I feel I can’t really speak to any of my friends as they all conceived first month of trying and wouldn’t understand. We are on our third cycle of TTC and I know this isn’t long at all.

@MrsMcNtobe so sorry misses, i think we are both just ready for this cycle to be over now! Hopefully we can get through another few days before testing again! Cannot wait until Sunday to see if flo arrives, but to be honest I wonder if all the stressing is pushing my period back some months... 🙈🙈🙈

@MrsMcNtobe @emma88P nothing is lost ladies! There is a lot of mums out there who didnt get their BFP until after their AF was due. Its just these BFNs which are taking our optimism away. I feel like my body is just testing me for the last week and a half. There are some days when I feel like I have to be definitely pregnant because of some of the symptoms and then there are days when I feel like my mind is just playing up too much.

The amount of googling I do during the 2ww is ridiculous 😂 driving myself mental! None of us are out yet, I’m hoping this thread is a the good luck thread!!

Hahaha me too, any new thing I notice..google my best friend :D Think I'm becoming an expert. I also like to watch YouTube videos of all sorts. It's very interesting and amazing anyways, how our bodies work.
I can't wait to go to bed, I've had this lower back ache since yesterday evening and it hasn't stopped since then. Also acne started which I get anyways before my period but hope that both is a sign of something good this month. :/
When will you be testing again ladies? I'm thinking Friday morning. Got myself a pack of First Resp. Early ...they currently have 2+1 free test at Boots.

@Martina2311 I hope your back ache isn’t too bad! AF isn’t due til next Thursday so I might test on Sunday!

@Martina2311 AF is due on Friday for me so I’m waiting until then and if it doesn’t come then I’ll test. Have wasted so many tests this week as I’m a big impatient riot! 😂😭

My AF is due Friday or Saturday too...holding off testing again until Friday morning.

Hahaha don't worry @MrsMcNtobe I also feel some days like I'm just not with it. I'm seriously so distracted at work, can't focus and keep forgetting everything..
My AF is due Sunday/Monday so hopefully by then I will have an answer but will def test this Friday and then probably over the weekend again. Baby dust to us all x

@Marshmallow1992 I feel for you! I've got my tests in my bedside table and I'm tempted to try again tomorrow morning :D but I am trying to be patient and wait until at least Friday when I will be at 10-11DPO. :)

Hi girls, Af due on sat too, already done about 4 tests haha all negative of course:( normally ovulate quite early around cd13. This is our 9th cycle .... patience patience! Good luck everyone x

Hello I am currently 8dpo and my af is due on Thursday next week tested a frer this am and i thought I saw a shadow but I think my wee brain is being cruel

No temp drop this morning so took a test and it’s a bfn. Going to ride it out now as my body is playing tricks on me and af will come as a surprise. Good luck ladies!

Ha it's so funny reading about people reacting the same way, especially googling symptoms. I've just woken up and asked Google the same question for the millionth time expecting a different answer or it to say YES you're pregnant stop asking me!! I've bought loads of paint and decorating tatt to distract myself with for the next 5 days I just need a pad lock for the tests!

@Chanel05 there might just not be enough hormones yet to detect. That’s what I’m trying to think, trying to be positive but it’s hard! It’s so difficult seeing BFN 😢.

@Marshmallow1992 that’s also my thought 😂. Feel like I’m on borrowed time though! Don’t feel like I’ve got af symptoms yet but a little bit poorly and run down. Feel like I’ve got a throat infection 🙈. How are you feeling today?

@Chanel05 no AF symptoms but I don’t ever really get them until at least the night before! I don’t feel any different from what I normally do. In the mornings when I get up I feel a bit run down but after a few hours I feel fine! Think I’m being too obsessed! Just need to wait one more day 🙈 xx

Morning ladies! Just thought of updating. I couldn't resist and tested this morning with a BFN as a result. Symptoms are weird and unreliable. I am not bloated anymore and my acne is worse (I always suffer from it but worse for the last 2 days)...feels like my progesteron is going slowly down... and almost seams like AF might be on the way. But the lower back pain yesterday was so unusual for me (much better today) and my bbs are still not sore as they always are long before AF is due. So it's so confusing this month. :( I'm thinking that next month I might try the temperature measuring to be really sure about ovulation days. Can anyone recommend a realiable BT thermometer? Still hoping I won't need it by that time anymore, but thinking ahead. Hope you all have a good day xx

@Martina2311 a lot of my symptoms have gone today too I’ve had a few sharp pains down there like in my noony 😂 god knows what that means! I might get a BT thermometer too though

@MrsMcNtobe I also had a random sharp pain under my belly button yesterday which was just really out of no where. But I seriously don't know if it's just me suddenly paying attention to these small feelings because it's my first month doing this...that's most probably the case. But it's good to learn about your body. It's all quite new but interesting. I want to try the measssuring because this month I only tried a few ovulation tests around the dates I thought I'd be ovulating. And I thought I did catch it...one evening I had EWCM and the next morning I had my first positive ovulation test...in the evening it was negative again. Before that, we BD 2 times on the day of EWCM and before that every other day. So I was quite positive that there is a chance. But I guess I should do the testing a bit longer to be 100% sure. After the positive ov. test I was feeling symptoms of raising progesteron but then at the beginning of this week I felt like I had secondary estrogen surge and since then my progesteron symptoms are slowly disappearing.
