Sad after chemical

Holly5633 · 01/10/2018 08:31

I have just had a chemical at 5+1 after some sting BFPs and a 2-3 on a digi. Feeling quite sad but I know it’s just one of those things. I feel sad about having to start all over again. Does anyone know how wonky this will make my cycle in terms of ovulation? I am hoping as it is early on I might return to normal quite quickly x

I'm so sorry to hear that @Holly5633. I clicked on this thread to lend some support as I was in this exact position this time two years ago with CPs in September and November.
Then I was in the same position as @LunaLG in January, February and March 2017 with another BFP and so anxious about absolutely everything under the sun through the first trimester. But my gorgeous now 13 month old DD was worth it all.
Sending you all positive thoughts and good wishes, and especially to you @Holly5633.

Sorry to hear that @Holly5633. Here if you need to just chat about it x

Luxembourgmama · 07/11/2018 20:28

I had a chemical last month too started bleeding at 6 weeks. I had missed miscarriage in July as well. I'm using Clearblue fertility monitor which seems to be quite accurate some of you are doing temperature instead though? Or as well as?

mrsof20118 · 07/11/2018 20:54

@rachyrach300 wondering how you are getting on?
@Luxembourgmama Sorry to hear about your chemical too:( I haven't tried the clear blue ovulation kit. Mainly because I have no control not to poas multiple times in a day for the opk. I temp and use just cheap opks.

LunaLG · 07/11/2018 21:01

Hello ladies another update from me too. I got a positive this month after a chemical last month. I've had some brown spotting so I'm taking it cautiously until viability scan . Im 19dpo and I've had strong lines on frer so trying to keep positive.

Wishing all you ladies a bfp soon xxx

mrsof20118 · 18/11/2018 19:35

I have had brown spotting too since Thursday. I'm trying not to worry and still think mine is leftover implantation?

When are you having the viability scan? I think I'll book one in once I get passed my chemical/early mc date from last time to put mind at rest.

OneMoreWish · 19/11/2018 00:31

I think I'll be 7 weeks. It's already booked as I had iui treatment it's part of the package you pay for. When you confirm your bfp they arrange it on the phone then. I'm on holiday at the moment so hoping it helps time go quickly ....

Not as much spotting today so keeping my fingers crossed I've never been so nervous every time I go the toilet!

rachyrach300 · 19/11/2018 08:05

Hey everyone! So sorry holly you had the same thing happen to you as me!

I didn’t get pregnant last month which to be honest I think is a good thing! Had a month for my body to repair itself. I’m ovulating today or tomorrow and actually explain to my husband how this whole ‘trying’ thing works so hopefully this month will work! But even if it does I just feel they will all end in a chemical as I’m a prettt negative person! Haha.

How everyone else doing? X

Holly5633 · 06/12/2018 12:02

Just checking in - how is everyone doing?

Hi @Holly5633. Yes doing ok, How are you doing ? x

Holly5633 · 06/12/2018 12:20

@Lunaenzo - that's good to hear. Did you have an early scan? Hope you haven't been feeling too rough.

All fine with me thanks. I have my appointment with the recurrent miscarriage clinic in January.
We paid for a consult with at a private clinic and she diagnosed me with PCOS. I was quite shocked. I don't have any cysts but do have enlarged ovaries and a Luteal Phase defect (which I had guessed). She wants to do blood tests after my period arrives but we decided to wait for the NHS in Jan as it was all going to be too expensive. She did say that either Insulin or low Progesterone was very likely causing my miscarriages and set me a target of 1-2 stone weight loss by mid Jan which is SO HARD this time of year but I am already 10 lbs down and feel good!

We were supposed to not try this month but .....
So am currently 9 DPO but not feeling anything so I don't think it is has happened this month which is probably a good thing because without the tests and appropriate treatment it would likely happen again and I am not sure I want to be dealing with that over xmas

Lunaenzo · 06/12/2018 12:29

@Holly5633, yeah we did, we were feeling very anxious so had one at 9 weeks and so far so good. We have our 12week scan on 18th. Luckily i have not felt too bad just the odd queasiness.

Ahh i'm really sorry that you are dealing with all of this, i can only imagine how hard it all must be for you. Hopefully you will get a better understanding of everything after your appointment. I really hope it goes well for you and get your happy ending. xx

Gothqueen · 06/12/2018 12:59

Hi, I had (I believe) a chemical this month. Started bleeding 2 weeks ago today and it just isn't letting up. Is this normal?? Haven't done a hpt yet as was told by epu to wait 3 weeks but OH are very keen to try again asap. I'm just concerned that scan showed everything was clear but I'm still bleeding. Anyone else had this?

Holly5633 · 06/12/2018 14:51

@Gothqueen sorry to hear this and I hope you are doing ok. I must admit, with my 3 (all about 5.5 weeks) I only bled for the normal length of a period so perhaps you should pop in and see your GP just to be sure. She might be able to give you something to stop it.

@Lunaenzo ahhh im so glad things are looking good and you got to see your bean on the screen! How lovely that you can announce to all your friends over xmas.

LunaLG · 06/12/2018 15:41

Thanks for checking in @Holly5633 I've been wondering how everyone's been doing. Glad you've got a few answers with your appointment too.

I'm 9.5 weeks now. Have been having severe morning sickness which has rendered me pretty useless! The GP has put me on anti-emetics which has helped a great deal. I'm positive it will ease when I hit 12 weeks and my hormones calm down. Looking forward to getting back to "normal" - even a walk to the shops has been a big ask.

Although I've had my low moments I know it's for a good cause and constantly remind myself of the journey to get here.

Glad your journey is going well @Lunaenzo

Xx

Lunaenzo · 06/12/2018 15:54

@LunaLG ahh bless you, you are having it tough.
I'm 10.4 today and lucky to have not been that unwell as yet, i had some nausea earlier on and can only eat small meals (otherwise i feel terrible) but apart from that I've not been too bad just really really tired.

I feel like i'm going to be hit in full force at a later date. x

Needadoughnut · 06/12/2018 15:59

Hello everyone! I had a chemical two cycles ago (I think similar to some of you). Didn't get pregnant the following cycle and was very down about it. Saw my endocrinologist who told me my hypothyroidism was most likely to blame.. so I've been taking more levothyroxine hoping this will give me a sticky bean . Fiance is certain this is our month. I'm either 8-9 dpo I tested at 6-7dpo and it was a BFN (also a Poundland one!!) But I just dont feel pregnant and I don't want the heartache of a positive followed by my "period".

rachyrach300 · 06/12/2018 21:01

So sorry to hear that @holly5633! I hope the test go well in the new year and 2019 will be your year!!

I’m currently pregnant again, think I’m only 4+2 but on the clear blue dig I got 3+ (so 5+) 2 days ago and 3 days before that for 1-2 weeks (3-4) so not sure how it increase so much in a small space of time but at least it’s going up as it never did the last 2 times!

Getting a lot of abdo pain but hoping it’s jjst stretching!

Glad most of you guys are getting up well with your pregnancies xx
