TTC July - Time to try again!

Eek never started one of these threads before but thought i'd be brave.

is cd 1 today This was my first cycle since m/c in march. Feeling pretty positive about July - if i don't i'll cry .

Surely someone wants to join me and stop me looking/feeling like a fool!!

Alittlebitshy, it is terrible. We start in one thread, trying to be positive and end up back in the thread we started in. I am so sorry to hear your news, I know that nothing I can say will make it better. Please remember we are all sending lots of love and hugs your way.

I think I should be in the June thread but everyone seems to be over here, so I've followed you all like a bad smell

I've been full steam ahead with TTC this month and I'm on CD29 today... only 4 days left till AF is due!
I've been lurking on MN but I was trying to avoid getting involved or count CD or anything, in the hope that if I took my mind off everything that I would get a BFP.

I've got no symptoms, apart from a sore back but I think that's down to too much BD'ing

I'm happy that we've done all we can this month and I'll be absolutely gutted if AF arrives on Monday

Hope you're all doing ok, trying to relax but also getting lots of BD'ing in. LOL at you Scorpio 'just one day off please' - I know that feeling as does my poor DH!

Flumpytigger & scorpio - am feeling very of you both as dh seems to be experiencing a severe lack of libido at the moment. Wasn´t remotely interested this morning but has hinted that he "might" be up for some action tonight! So I´ve got the hump now ..... And just to top it off I finished off my secret stash of chocolate yesterday, which I keep in my desk, so even bigger pouty lips!!!!

And (another moan coming) I think I´m ovulating today as have bad stitch-like pains on both sides and my tummy feels really heavy and I haven´t eaten anything that would make me feel like that. Anyway, that´s enough moaning for now

Really must do some work - this site is sooooo addictive and dh keeps sneaking up on me so I have to make sure I minimise everything cos he´d be mortified if he knew I was discussing this with you!!

Hello Treenie & babybratt yes I'm ttc my first, I have a MC last June, didn't start ttc for about 4 months after it. So I guess we've been trying for about eight months now.

poppy: i'm alsi ttc my 1st baby, hence the nickname . i'm on the 3rd cycle after m/c. might have missed ovulation this cycle though . sometimes wish i have more signs like ovulation pain .

a question please:TMI btw...

i first had ewcm on cd11 (now cd18)when do you think i oved? no ewcm anymore, tiny bit yesterday.

just feeling so tired, unbelivably so.

scorpio you are meant to be fertile until the last 'wet' day.
I tend to get a weeks worth of ewcm before I Ov, then it all dries up.
Try doing opks during the week you have ewcm to pinpoint a few days at least.

Having said that, I'm still ttc after 10 months so it's not helping me!

A littlebitshy I am so so sorry about your m/c.

Anniemac - there will always be someone who is worse off than you. But in the cold light of day no matter how much we try to put things in perspective it is hard because ttc is the most important thing in our lives and in that vain it feels really hard.

Everyone who got married around the same time as I did have fallen or are just announcing that they are pg. I am the only one who does not seem to be able to get it right.

CD8 and you never know this might be the month.

I'm CD31 here of a 33 day cycle & I couldn't resist the temptation to do a test! I didn't even have any symptoms, so it was obviously a BFN!

Hey-ho... back to the drawing board!

Was going to wait until next month to start trying - have just come off the pill - but am finding I just can't wait! Am desperate to be preggers all of a sudden. have gone from feeling quite relaxed to being completley obbsessed!
PLease tell me I am not alone?!
Also can I ask a few questions. I came off the pill in Feb for one cycle. Ov tests showed I had a surge on day 20 and 21 and my cycle was 34 days. Then went back on the pill till about three weeks ago - am now on CD 18.
Am basing this cycle on the last time I came off the pill and bding like mad as think I'll be ov on Monday.
Is this the right thing to do do we think?
I know I'm waffleing but please just humour me as feeling a wee bit stressed out about it all. MN has totally saved me from freaking out all alone!

AF arrived today so am officially TTC in July x

Hi ladies can i join you all i had a mmc in may and af arrived on friday 6 weeks since mc so am on cd 3,i am now armed with my thermometer and ov sticks (and fingers tmi lol)we are ttc #4,i have joined fertility friend and raring to go lol(don't get me wrong i was devastated when i lost my baby (2nd mc)but i am 37 next and time is not on my side we are going to give it 6 months and if nothing happened going to stick at 3)

So this is where everyone is hiding I never know what thread I am supposed to be in, anyway hello to everyone I already "know" and a big pleased to meet you to the newbies.

I'm on CD 22 (last months cycle was 27 days but I had very light brown bleeding for nearly 2 days before the red gush) so could that be 29 days?? so it could be CD 22 or 20??? I'm confused. Anyway am ttc no 3, already have 2 DDs, 2.11yo and 1.7yo so am utterly mad. DD1 took 9 months to conceive after years of the pill, DD2 was the first unprotected shag (are we not allowed to say baby dancing now then) after DD1 was born so I thought I would fall straight away again but this is only my second cycle.

Am looking for every little non existent sign that I might be pregnant but am trying not to test before Saturday, it's a long 2 ww. Not that hopeful as started off the month well but DP has had man flu for a week so no action

I haven't posted since teh June thread, I was being normal for a while and not obsessing about ttc while I waited for ov time. Well, ov has been and gone for another month. This is cycle 3, and for the first 2 I used ov sticks, but noticed that I had cramps when I was ov so this month I just judged by the cramping! We bd's on two days, had a mis-fire on day 3 - poor DH can't keep up this pace! LOL, sorry if tmi!! Anyway, now it's back to waiting until af is due. At least I'm not so stressed out about it all this month. One of my main reasons for being desperate to get pg was that I hated my boss and my job and getting pg was a great way to get out of there. But now I've moved departments and have a lovely new boss, so the pressure is off. It's a wonderful feeling to be trying but not completely busting at the seams to get pg immediately.

A couple of questions. First, how on earth do you know where/what state your cervix is in? Do you just feel about in there? I don't think I can reach! But when we bd at fertile time I can feel DH bumping against the top, and not at other times. Sorry again if tmi! Should my cervix be lower at fertile time?

Second, what's this about a lp? I know what it stands for but not what it means. If you have a short cycle does that mean you have a short lp? If ov is on day 13/14 and cycle is 25 days, should I be worried about lp not being long enough?

OK, enough from me.....

I think I am cd24, but like you, sweetkitty, I am having different cycle lengths. It doesnt help does it. The not knowing when to expect things like ov or af!!

When I had a coil inserted I was told I must find the threads to ensure the coil was in the right place. Ok I thought shouldnt be too much trouble. Well after a couple of weeks of rumaging about all I managed to do is scratch myself sore!!!!
As for finding my cervix, if the professionals struggle what hope do I have? Anyone else have an anterior cervix? Makes life fun at the smear test clinic I can tell you!

Just checking in here; cd22.feel weirdly postive-very sore boobs,veiny, weird cm. or maybe im just very hormonal! trying not to get too over excited!

morning CD23 here and I'm so like you scorpio trying not to get too excited I have that gut feeling I had with the other two but keep thinking it's just my head messing with me. I have totally gone off food and cannot be bothered eating and am only eating to not feel hungry and that's not like me plus I feel a bit sicky the past few days but surely it's too early. With the other two I "knew" within a few days of the deed and with DD2 even though I was getting BFNs on cheapie ebay tests I knew something was up. Oh I'm going insane think a good dose of cleaning will sort me out.

It's another weird horrid day here, rain then sunshine but you cannot go out in the garden or take them out as it's too wet argh!

Hi ladies well cd 4 today and at last af as slowed down was getting worried as she has been heavy.

derah - your cervix is high when you are most fertile and low when not fertile,so that times when you feel dh is probs low so not fertile at that point,your lp (luteaul phase)is the number of days from ov to af (so if you ov on day 14 and af arrives on day 27 then your lp is 14 which is good (if your lp is 10 or less it can be a problem as it needs to be 11 or more to sustain a pregnancy.

scorpio my cm in pregnancy always changes to thick,sticky creamy colour,and with the vieny boobs sounds promising good luck hope you get your bfp this month.
