Eek never started one of these threads before but thought i'd be brave.

Surely someone wants to join me and stop me looking/feeling like a fool!!

ali; its exactly like that and my boobs are so sore! i want to test but theres no point, too early. prob just me imagining it or body playing tricks!

derah · 25/06/2007 15:54

Hee hee, if veiny boobs are a symptom of pregnancy then I must be pg all the time!! Mine look like blue road maps, and I don't think it would be possible for them to get any more so when I'm pg. Sorry, probably tmi again but the thought did make me giggle.

Alinjosh, thanks for your replies to my questions.

I have decided to ignore any possible symptoms this month, since I have been absolutely positive I was pg the past 2 months and absolutely wrong each time. I'm also now very suspicious of "just knowing" if you're pg, cos like I said, I've been sure the past 2 months and was wrong. If I'd been right I could have said "see, I knew it!", but it's really all just about a lucky guess then really knowing for sure.

Well, it's all very well making these promises now, but as Sunday (when as if due) comes closer I bet all my resolutions will go out the window and I'll be symptom spotting and testing like crazy! I'm definitely more relaxed this month though, cos by this time last month I was already going nuts and symptom spotting. Perhaps because we didn't bd as much as we should have this month, I'm fairly positive it's not going to happen.

derah · 25/06/2007 15:55

PS, Scorpio.... hope the symptoms are for real and you get your bfp soon!!

spugs · 25/06/2007 15:59

by a high cervix do you mean closer to your hhead then your toes or the other way round?

cheechymunchy · 25/06/2007 16:03

Sorry to barge in, but Anniemac, I remember you from a couple of months ago. My LP on average is 8. Been TTC 2nd DC for almost a year and have just got my BFP. Enough of that, though, just wanted to let you know that a short LP hasn't affected me in the end. Sure it took quite a while and I was beginning to think this was seriously not normal to ov so late (usually CD22-24) and have such a short LP.
Hope to see you on the other side soon.
x

cheecy - many congratulations

anniemac - you never know maybe relaxing a bit might help, it did with my first as I got so neurotic with the whole ttc that we decided to leave it until after Christmas and of course after all that sex at the right times DD1 was the result of a mid week quickie at CD11 only sex that month (think we had sickened ourselves off) best of luck to you though

scorpio - it's taking all my resolve not to buy a First Response tomorrow

right off to make dinner xx

derah · 26/06/2007 08:45

Aaargh, I knew my apparent calm was too good to be true. Now I'm symptom spotting by not symptom spotting, if that makes any sense. Usually my boobs are starting to get sore and I'm beginning to feel af coming on my this stage (it's cd 19 and my cycle is 24-26 days at the moment). These early af symptoms have had me convinced I was pg for the past couple of months, and now this month the lack of them has got me wondering.

There really is no hope for me, is there?!

sweetkitty · 26/06/2007 09:02

CD24 here symptom spotting here as well although I've never had any symptoms just a "feeling" so I'm going a bit mad as well. Am thinking of buying a test for tomorrows first wee of the day but in some ways I don't want to as if it's a BFN I will be gutted.

Going to try and take my mind off it by having a busy morning with the DDs, how can I be this broody it is so irrational, DD2 is only 17 months so still a baby really, I HATE being pregnant yet I so wish I was. I will moan for the next 9 months, dread labour, then the newborn stuck to you 24/7 sleep deprivation stage not to mention having 3 kids under 5.

why? why? why?

DontlookatmeImshy · 26/06/2007 09:20

lol at symptom spotters. It so hard isn't it? Last month I was trying not to sympton spot and all it did was make me even more aware of them. Tingly boobs was the main one last month, I never get tingly boobs so started getting all excited.
Anyway cd16 & 3dpo here so now in the dreaded 2ww. Arrrgh

sweetkitty · 26/06/2007 12:32

Posted this on ttc no3 as well but here goes......

Well I ignored my own advice and bought a test I know I know and it was BFN BUT after about 5 minutes a very faint pink line did appear and after 10 mins there was definately a very faint pink line so now I am really confused. Is it just because it an evaporation line and theres always a very faint line if you look for it OR is it just because I am only CD24 or even CD22 (last months period was really light for 2 days before I needed to use tampons)???

Must take my own advice go away don't think about it until Saturday!!!

Soph73 · 27/06/2007 09:46

Morning all, just thought I´d say hi. It´s the end of term on Friday so I shall be loving & leaving you for a couple of months as I need to relax and try not to think about this ttc lark However, we´ll see how long it takes me to slink off to an internet cafe to catch up with everyone

sweetkitty · 27/06/2007 10:22

Tested again this morning, very faint pink line after about 5 minutes again!! Even got DP to have a look at it to prove I'm not seeing things and he said it was VERY faint but still a line. Took the test apart after 10 minutes and there was a definite faint pink line. Am so confused now, I know any line is a line but don't want to get my hopes up.

scorpio - go on you know you want to get a FR? Symptoms sound promising I have no symptoms but then again I never did until the feeling sick all the time kicks in about 8 weeks.

soph - aww we will miss you, have a lovely time off and hopefully you will be back in August with some good news, take care xxx

where is everyone else???

scorpio1 · 27/06/2007 10:26

SK-what test did you use?

ronshar · 27/06/2007 10:34

Scorpio I am also in a confused state. I have had swollen sore boobs for 4 days. I am on cd27. I am not sure of cycle length? As I have already said before I am turning into a testing freak. I couldnt even wait today. I went into the toilets in sainsbury. Still BFN.

scorpio1 · 27/06/2007 10:36

any rough idea of when you oved?

ronshar · 27/06/2007 10:51

Not really because I was getting crazy. I wanted to have a month off the whole looking at my pants for cosmic signs that so havent been working for me so far!!! I do remember the pains in my tummy which are usually a sign of ov for me. I am only 4 months post erpc. So it is all up in the air.

mslucy · 27/06/2007 10:54

smiles knowingly at thought of looking in pants for cosmic signs

Soph73 · 27/06/2007 11:34

LOL at cosmic signs - been there, done that

sweetkitty - aaahh thanks, not back until September but if by some sort of miracle anything happens before then I´ll let everyone know

ronshar - at least I´m not the only one who tests in public loos ... not the only freak out there then

Soph73 · 27/06/2007 11:35

Sorry, forgot to say sweetkitty all looking pretty positive for you, how exciting

McDreamy · 27/06/2007 11:36

On my 2 week wait now - this bit really drags!!

mslucy · 27/06/2007 11:36

I did an ovulation test in a pub toilet once and ran out cackling like a mad woman because the little smiley face appeared.
